These are my fourth pair of Sabrina boots (black leather, forest green suede, cognac brogue, and now these gorgeous red). Color is a little darker and richer than what is shown here but that's not a bad thing! A word about how these wear: they are pretty substantial (read: heavy!) and that may be a challenge for some; they are also very stiff at first and do take a few wears to break - in hence the 4 stars for comfort. If you're patient and take the time to allow the leather to relax and don't mind the weight, you will get many many years of wear out of them. Frye's quality has suffered as of late, as I've worn the brand for ages, but these are one of the few styles still made in America - something I can whole-heartedly support. The craftsmanship is amazing and well worth the investment.

High quality leather, comfortable fit. Tbh I wish the toe was a little pointier for a more sophisticated silhouette, but the shape was relatively standard for combat foots. I also don’t love how the texture of the outer sole is visible from the side profile. But I am a fan of the cherry color: it’s more subtle and less bright in real life than in the pictures.

Love, love, love! Worth every penny! They're b@dass, yet feminine. Rugged look, comfortable, stylish. The price tag is high but you're paying for quality. I expect these to last me years to come.

My first Frye boots. I'm typically anywhere from 9-10 in various brands. I purchased the 9.5, too long, width OK. Even if I was into wearing thick socks, which I'm not ,(I wear average cotton crew socks), I couldn't lace them tight enough to hug my ankle. I don't like loose ankle boots which is why I seek out lace-up boots. I will try the 9, but skeptical that they'll lace tight enough to my liking. This is such a beautiful boot, so well-constructed and solid. I love the heel height especially. Gives my back some relief. I was torn between the gray suede and Cognac, got the Cognac but they're too bright and shiny for me. I felt they were too "yellow" and much lighter than in photos I've seen. Yes, I googled all the colors to see them on the feet of real people. I'm going for the gray suede in a 9 and grasping onto hope. Please think of me at this difficult time... ;)
I'd also recommend:
Taos, La Canadienne, army surplus paratrooper boots

I experienced no break in period--these are just so comfortable. They have a sturdy base that gives me no doubt they will withstand Michigan snow and ice this winter! I usually wear a 9-9.5, and bought these in a 10 so I could wear a thick wool sock in it. They are the perfect size--no slippage, but still enough room to wiggle my toes with my thick socks. I purchased black and now I most definitely will need to get another Sabrina style in a new color!

I usually wear a 7. For these I needed to get a half size bigger. The heel in the 7 was a little tight and I could wear them with a very thin sock (like a nylon) but getting the half size larger allows me to wear sox and make them more comfortable. Great leather exterior. Leather inside is nice too.

I'm a Frye fan. This boot is perfect for dressing up with tights/leggings or down with jeans. Broke in easily and can walk in them all day. I bought in black also.

I'm finally getting to wear these boots now that it's rainier and colder here in SF. These boots are excellent quality and feel super sturdy on my feet. I bought the black leather and had to size up from my usual 6 to a 6.5 to get the right fit. I spent more than I normally do on shoes, but feel like I'll get lots of wear from them.

I bought this pair of Sabring 6 G lace up in black a couple of months ago. It's my third pair of Frye's - different styles and colors. These are great. Took a few wearings to break them in - but its always worth the effort. Frye's only get better with age!

Beautifully crafted boots! I have another pair of Frye boots that are 9.5B, so I ordered the same size — they fit perfectly. I usually fluctuate between 9.5 and 10 in shoes depending on the brand. The heel height is just right.

This is my fourth pair of Frye shoes--two pairs of boots and two pairs of flats. The Sabrina 6G Lace Up has continued the tradition of excellent craftsmanship to which I have grown accustomed. They are very comfortable and, more importantly, beautiful up close. I receive compliments every time I wear them. And I've worn them a lot. With dresses, jeans, skirts. And I think they will pair very well with shorts and tights in the fall. To be sure, they are hard to get on, but that gets easier over time. Oh! And if you want to use a leather cream on them, Frye's did very well and didn't darken the leather too much at all.

Great version of the combat boot style with a very comfortable heel height. Wish the footbed padding was more but still very comfy. Walked all over boston with it and was fine. Wish it came in blue navy or otherwise. Frye has not had any blue colors for a while. Also would love it in a more burnt red color.

I have these in a couple of colors - tan, red and black. The tan are really the most utilitarian, believe it or not. I had serious reluctance about buying them, but they're the ones that actually look better with use. The black are good also, and the red are beautiful when you buy them, but it hurts to put that first crease in them, because they're so expensive. But I feel fierce in these shoes, and can't stop wearing them.

These boots are beautiful. I wanted to love them but they hurt my feet. Must be my high arches. Just beautiful and so sad to return.

I love these boots! I am in between an 8 and 8 1/2 but have feet that are towards the narrow side. I ordered the 8 and they fit perfectly. I've never had a shoe fit me so well straight out of the box. Maybe it is because my feet are narrow but even so, I find so many women's shoes that squish your toes. These actually have space in the foot bed yet my heels do not slip. If you are debating like I was, get them! They are beautiful. I now want them in more colors. One thing of note is that I got the oiled suede so maybe there is more give than the leather? Also, this is my first pair of Frye boots. I have returned others for being too big and heel slippage.

Amazing shoe. Soft leather insole makes it very easy on the foot and the support isn't bad. For a heel, this is one is very comfortable and almost feels buoyant to walk in. (Wow!) I am also impressed with the versatility of this shoe; it looks equally stylish both inside and outside of jeans. Not many shoes or boots can pull that off with equal flourish. Overall, I am really impressed. Five stars.

I bought these and I haven't taken them off since. I am usually a true 8.5 in boots, so it's hard for me to choose between an 8 or 9 usually. I got an 8 and they are perfect!
