A comfortable basic for most any of my casual summer outfits. And I've already received tons of compliments. I was concerned about the wooden platform but its very walkable and the cushion is just right. Love the angle heel, can wear for extended period.

These shoes are true to size and feel good and are quality built but the narrowness of the sole does not make them as stable as most wedges that Frye as made. Easy to sprain an ankle if you are not careful...because of this I don't wear them as much as I thought I would. When I do, I always get a compliment.

Super cute and comfortable, but I am still getting used to walking in them. I'm not sure I am young enough to walk in platforms!

These are adorable sandals once you get used to walking in them. It's a little tricky with the wooden heel. My feet are on the wider side, so I'm always struggling with the sides of my feet hanging over my shoes, but these are very flattering and look like they were made for my feet. Frye sandals are hit or miss for me and these were a hit!

I love these shoes. True to size and super comfortable! My husband and I spend 3 days looking for a new house and I wore these shoes. They were so comfortable and I have gotten so many compliments on them! I think this color goes with anything!

Really cute shoe and as you would expect quality leather by Frye and a great shade of gray. But I am returning only because I wanted an all day run around sandal and the true wood bottom on this is just too heavy for an everyday sandal. So I am sending back---but go for it if looking for a great casual to add to your collection.

This are a great look, but do not plan to wear them for any length of time and or walking around.

These shoes are the best! Not only do they look sharp, they are comfy and stylish. I get TONS of complements on them every time I wear them. The color rocks.

Love these! I wear a 9 usually, though sometimes an 8.5 will do, especially in sandals. Tried these on in person and actually sized down to an 8, which fit fine! I also know that like my other Frye sandals, they'll stretch out a bit. Whenever I buy a 9, by the end of the summer, I wish I had started with an 8.5. I think they're lovely, a nice compromise between a flat and a higher wedge. Super versatile, beautiful details!

I love these shoes. They're expensive, it's true but they're gorgeous, comfortable and flattering. I ordered them in the natural color in my regular size. No problem. The only thing I would say is that they are darker in person than they appear online but still very much a neutral and can be worn with any color. Other reviews mentioned an odor but I haven't have any issues with that. (Perhaps it was resolved?) The shoe feels quite stable to me although I will say I was surprised by the weight, it's heavier than most. I hoped and prayed for a year that Frye would bring back the Carlie for a second season. So glad they did!

Very cute sandal! I love Frye and these did not disappoint.Well made and very attractive, slightly more narrow than my other Fryes. Even though I love these, I had to send them back because they were a bit too heavy for my sensitive feet. A heavy shoe make me fatigue quickly so I had to give these up. :-( So cute.

I absolutely love these shoes. They are probably my favorite shoes, ever. That is why it is such a shame that I never wear them. Why do I never wear gorgeous shoes that I love so so much? Because my feet are a tad wide, and these shoes are for people with narrow to regular old feet. I have them in a 7½, although 99 percent of the time I wear a 7, and they are still too narrow. I also tend to twist my ankle unattractively in these, which is no good. I am not sure why as I am pretty awesome at walking in heels. Maybe I just need more practice with this style, which has a bit of a platform and an oddly upturned sole under the toe. But I never get the practice. Because every time I put them on I see my wide feet peeking over the edges and I take them right off again.

Very nice looking sandal, fits true to size. I am returning because the bottom half of the wedge is wood and feels heavy and will be too hard on my back.

Shoes are beautiful, and easy to walk in for their height, but my toes are pinched by the straps and I'm concerned the shoes won't become comfortable over time. Too expensive a shoe to risk that.

I really like the way these shoes look! The gray is a little different from the typical brown or black sandals, and I've gotten compliments every time I've worn these. I like the added height the platforms give me, without sacrificing comfort. The only drawbacks to these shoes: the wooden soles clunk loudly as I walk, and the price tag is higher than any other sandal I've ever purchased. I decided to splurge on my first pair of Frye's, though. Hopefully, it will be worth it!

These shoes are noisy and clunky to walk in. I like them and they aren't uncomfortable but will probably send them back because I think I'll sound like a stampede when I come into a room

These shoes haunted me from the moment I saw them. I finally caved in and bought them when they went on sale. They are as beautiful as they look. They are comfortable to wear, but they are a bit difficult to walk in. The reason is the middle section between the heel and ball section is solid wood (no leather) so if you step on a pebble or twig in the parking lot on that part of the shoe, accidents can ensue. Another thing I don't like is that they are loud on non-carpeted floors. Much louder than my Kork-ease. For those two reasons, I don't wear them as much as I wear my Kork-ease. I could walk the dog in my Kork-ease but I only wear my Frye platforms when I know I will be sitting at my desk for most of the day. One last thing, I was very disappointed to see on the Frye box, "Made in China." Huh? Frye shoes? I had to Google that to confirm. Frye, if you're going to move your operations to China, there needs to be a corresponding drop in prices. But Zappos rocks!

These shoes were really cute on...in the beginning of the day. I found the fit to be really narrow and by the end of the day, my feet were shredded. They were also hard to balance and my ankle "gave out" more than a few times if I was not careful walking. Lastly, the leather did not breathe so my feet got sweaty by the end of the day. I decided to return these shoes and was bummed - I really liked them.

I have two different pair of Fry sandals and love them. I was very excited to get these shoes, but they didn't work out for me. They were very unsteady to walk in (and I can walk in any heal), and they also were very loud when you walked. I decided to purchase some grey sandals from Gentle Souls instead, and I absolutely adore them.

OMG! I HATED this shoe! I don't understand how anyone could say they're comfortable when the leather is so stiff it would work better on a saddle. I have a narrow foot and my toes were still pinched. PLUS the front sole of the shoe is cut at an angle which makes walking awkward to say the least. Too bad, I really wanted to love them!
