I have an incredibly difficult time finding pants that fit over my muscled legs and my leaner waist while maintaining a tailored not skin tight fit. These pants worked out brilliantly. They are comfortable, light-weight, and fit my body type. I feel comfortable hiking and riding my bike wearing these pants. They transfer well to the California casual work environment. Two more features. 1) Belt is optional. The pants have a waistline strap built-in that adjusts the waist size. 2) The legs can be rolled up and snapped into place at mid calf.

Absolutely love these pants, bought two pairs. Perfect for hiking and climbing. They are very comfortable and great material. I have worn them in rain, 40 degree weather and they have worked really well. They repel wind and water with ease. Definitely recommend.

Great work pants for my husband -- a PE teacher. They are a good middle weight for all kinds of weather. We did find they ran a size smaller than indicated in their sizing chart... he is normally a 38" waist and needed a 2XL in these pants.

Great pants! Perfect for climbing. They have just enough stretch so I can move in them easily, and they protect my knees. Fits really nicely. Would also be great for hiking, traveling, and walking around town!

These have to be the most comfortable pants I have ever put on. There is a little bit of stretch to them. They feel soft. They have a scotchguard coating. I wear size 38 and according to the Prana sizing chart that is an XXL. They fit perfectly. I bought a second pair in charcoal color.

I just ordered bunch of climbing pants (e.g. Mountain Hardwear Mesa, North Face V16, etc), and those beat everything else! Super comfy and stretchy. Perfect for climbing.

Greatest pants ever.. They are all I want to wear.. So comfortable and durable.. The functionality rocks!!! Love them!!

Great pants depending on what you are searching for. I was in need of lightweight hiking pants and these come in at just under 14 ounces for a size M with a 30" inseam. I normally wear 32 x 30 and these fit perfectly. The stretch is nice and the pants are pretty robust although very warm and heavier than I wanted. Rock climbing or yoga during the summer or warm weather would be terrible and they certainly won't work for lightweight hiking/backpacking pants in hot or warm weather. I'm laying down another 30 bucks for Arc'teryx Rampart pants which come in under 10oz assuming you care about weight. They are also lighter though quite pricey. In cooler weather these would be great. I didn't get a chance to check out the water resistance but they are scotch guarded. One other critique, there are buttons on the legs to be able to roll up the pants which I find strange considering they make convertibles as well. If I wanted to be able to roll them up, I would have bought the other model. Overall: Great pants for cooler weather, hiking etc but certainly not in warmer weather. Extremely comfortable and I found the fit pretty decent and comfortable. I could see using these as everyday pants but for activities, stick to the cooler seasons.

I bought this pants style at a store after trying them on. I was fine with the the rather long length because they were narrow at the ankles and didn't touch the ground. I was pleased with the comfort and felt the pants were practical for hiking and general use. I decided to order the same size but in a different color after receiving several compliments from unexpected sources. The pants I received were the same high quality but tighter than the original purchase. I considered returning them to Zappos but decided to keep them.

Comfortable and stylish cargo style pant. However, the fabric is not abrasion resistant and is easily frayed. This is not a good quality in a product intended for climbing. They were good to wear, but did not hold up to even street wear, let alone climbing.
