Not my first Keen shoes so knew what to expect comfort-wise and as with all the other Keen shoes and boots I've owned these are no different. Very comfortable shoes. My gripe (and reason why only 3 stars) is that these shoes are super squeaky due to the leather on leather rubbing between the tongue and the main part of the shoe - it reminds me of the 'The Leather Man' SNL skit. I'm really hoping that goes away after the leather is broken in a little.

I really love these shoes. Great for long walks or the casual office. My only issue and the reason I gave it only 3 stars is that my heels wore through the lining early on. The rough texture behind the lining isn't kind to my socks but I continue to wear them because everything else about them is perfect.

Love the shoes but, for me, than run too large so they were quite uncomfortable. I still love the shoe and will exchange them for a smaller size.

I work behind a bar and I was looking for something non-slip since I run around on a concrete floor for 9 hours a shift. Make no mistake, these are an effective non-slip shoe; however, the arch support is limited without using an insert and the out soles are very hard and loud when walking. Which brings me to the problem I have with these shoes; they do not absorb enough impact. A bar is a fast paced environment that requires a lot of bending over, picking up and walking around. These shoes just do not offer the comfort or shock absorption I need for the bar. In sum, they are a sturdy, not uncomfortable feeling shoe, but they are not meant for bartending.

This is a nice shoe with decent overall support, but not much arch support. Unfortunately, the cut of this shoe pinches my feet on the sides of the base of the big toe and pinky toe, while the rest of the toe box is spacious.

I purchased these shoes 10 months ago and they are worn through the outsole at the heal. Other than lack of durability, I like the shoe.

Purchased these as a work shoe since they are listed as a "utility" shoe. The first day started out great and the shoes felt great. However, by the end of the day my feet were really killing me. I figured it was just that it was a new shoe and I would have to get used to them. So on to day two. Same result. Day three, same result. I get home from work and can't wait to get the shoes off! I really like the design and ruggedness of the shoe and I have talked to other people who have loved them but for me they don't work!

Let me start by saying that I am a big fan of all Keen shoes. I have at least 5 pairs and my 2 year old son has a pair as well (like he really cares?). As a chef of 12 years I've run my course of shoes. From Shoes for Crews, through birki's with and without the cork insole, to Ecco on and on. I'm flat out going to tell you that I'll never be caught in a pair of Dansko's no matter how comfortable the ladies say they are. I just don't like slip on shoes that flop around when you walk; I need laces and perhaps a little edge. I've been hunting for a shoe that will put up with the abuse I put them through. They have to be good leather, not chunky, not too heavy but not featherweight, they have to stick to my feet when I rush up and down ramps, stairs from wet, oily and dry terrain. They have to be snug for the trips outside when there's snow (I'm Alaskan). With all this in mind and the background I have with Keen I bought a pair. First impression? typical Keen duck foot styling (which suits my wide toes), genuine quality leather, great grip, good fit, and overall very comfortable. I practically forgot about them once I stopped oogling at how much I loved them (took about a month). After 3-4 months the soles started to separate from the leather upper. I figured some good epoxy or shoe goo would fix it. I said this about a hundred times for the next 6 months but never fixed them. Water wasn't getting in, they were still comfortable, and aside from that they took the rigorous abuse I put work shoes through. A year later I am satisfied with the purchase. I have countless miles on them (however, I'm curious to know exactly how many hundreds upon thousands that could be...) It is a bit disappointing that they didn't hold up past the 4 month mark. I read Keen used to stitch the upper to the sole and others have experienced this problem. For that reason and that reason alone I knocked 2 stars off. The manufacturer has to know that it doesn't hold up, and to sell a kitchen shoe that breaks down after only a handful of months is kind of a sucker move. If the sole would stick to the shoe, you would have to be brain dead not to get these. I'm debating ordering another pair, even with the flaw but I can't shut out the fact that there might be a higher quality shoe out there that would complete my search. On the other hand maybe there's a reason I've been wearing them for a full year. This price per year...that's pretty good mileage. Now fix the issue and stitch the sole to the shoe...I'd be hooked for life without a doubt. Try these shoes, you'll like them.

I really like these shoes. I really do, but after only a couple months the soles are starting to pull away from the leather upper. Disappointing! I haven't been super hard on the shoes. I work in a kitchen and they have proven very comfortable, but I probably won't purchase these again because of the short life.

These shoes are extremely comfortable! I've loved Keens long and hard based solely on that attribute. These shoes are no different. They're not pretty but for a food service worker they are ideal. My biggest complaint has to do with overall quality. After 2 months of 30 hour work weeks I have to send these back. The inner heel webbing is coming apart as are the inserts. So, these shoes were perfect for the first 200 hours, then they started to poop out. Hopefully the replacement pair will live up to my Keen dreams.

I normally wear a size 12, so I tried that size. It felt a little small and my toes were cramped. I ordered a 13 and my toes felt better. I like the wide toe box.

I've had good luck with Keen Targee hiking shoes and boots, with their roomy toe compartment. I wear my Targee frequently, but I wanted someing a bit dressier for social occasions. These Oxford shoes looked good and they fit my foot quite well -- until I started walking. Whenever I flexed my foot to walk or bend my knees, the top edge of the shoes dug into my ankle. It quickly became uncomfortable, bordering on painful. So, thank you Zappos, for your generous return policy.

These shows squeak like crazy. It's embarrassing. I've worn them for a couple weeks and it hasn't improved. Have to really tighten them down to an uncomfortable amount to reduce it. I'd look elsewhere if I were considering these.

I felt the bottom of the lacing eyelet material was contacting the top of my foot too much. I've been buying Keens for years but I didn't care for the way this particular model fit. That being said I would certainly buy a different Keen model in the future.

I returned these; they are very weird shoes. The toe box is huge (almost clown shoe-like) and then it quickly narrows down to very narrow midfoot. My wife looked at me in them and said "Wow, those just don't look right." I wear a normal width shoe in everything else and had to pull the laces so far out I could barely tie the laces but it still felt tight at the arch. The footbed is comfortable enough, but the proportions are just wrong.

I wanted to like these. I'm a server, 6'2" Size 13. The look of the shoe is good, slip-resistant worked, and I loved the wider to box. The problem was the lack of arch support and the shoes actually got too narrow at midfoot and heel. Very stiff shoes as well. After 2 shifts, my feet hurt so bad I could barely walk. Returned

I wish I could give these shoes a two part review. The shoes themselves are extremely comfortable and offer great support if you have to be on your feet for hours at a time. But, they are NOT slip resistant at all! I work in catering and was so excited when I got these. However, my first time wearing them I was walking across our kitchen floor and almost fell over as I skid across a small amount of water that was on the floor. I tried to wear them two days just to make sure and both days if I had to walk in any sort of liquid on the floor, I looked like I was an ice skater! Had to send them back

After only three months, the sole of these shoes has begun to separate from the uppers, some sort of massive glue failure. This is the second pair of these shoes that I have owned, and like all Keens the quality seems somewhat hit or miss.

Make sure they're prefect right away, check seams and glue lines for proper assembly! I neglected to do this and one flubbed shoe only lasted six weeks* Right out of the box, these shoes were comfortable. I work for UPS loading delivery vehicles 5 days a week. We move fast across concrete floors and good shoes are a must. tragically, one shoe had a small wrinkle out of the box, felt a little funny under the toes. I didn't really think anything of it. Today, just six weeks after buying them, the flubbed shoe came apart. The sole that wraps up an over the toe of the shoe came completely unglued. I had higher expectations given that these were rather expensive.

Very comfortable shoe. But only took two months before it started falling apart. The sole has come detached from the upper and the inside lining is tearing.

I have had these shoes for less than two months, and worn them a dozen times. On the right shoe, sole is already coming loose from the body of the shoe. I usually have very good experiences with the quality of Keen's shoes, but I am disappointed in this item.

I really wanted to like these shoes. Zappos replaced the first pair within the first two weeks of me having them. They were replaced because the upper started to separate from the sole within the first five days. I have had the second pair now for about six weeks and they are starting to show signs of separation. After this experience with Keen; I won't buy a pair of them again.
