The leather part which encompasses my foot's heel did not go up high enough. I was disappointed that this shoe was not leather lined, although I could have read that in the description. In general I love Keen oxfords. I am in mourning for the Briggs II black which had pebbled leather which is extremely durable and was a wonderful shoe. This year I am disappointed with the Keen product offerings. Some are so lightweight as to be almost flimsy.

I had high hopes for this - a shoe that didn't look like a hiking boot, but with the wide forefoot and toe box that I love in my Keens. Unfortunately, the heel wouldn't stay put - my heel slipped up with every step, pulling my sock down.

Agreeing with many reviewers that there was something odd about how low they sat on my heel. I returned them. Otherwise, comfy shoes, but too pricey to take the chance that they'd slip and I would not like them. I opted for the PTC slip-on clog.

I thought these shoes would outlast the less expensive non-slip shoes I've purchased in the past. Unfortunately they began to fall apart after just a few months. The fabric on the inside of the heel basically disintegrated and the padding all came out within a couple of weeks. I tried to make them last as long as I could - I only wear them 2 days a week. After about 8 months (roughly 64 shifts) the upper split from the sole. The other issue I had was that the balls of my feet constantly ache while wearing them. I would not recommend.

I'm on my feet all day and these shoes aren't the ones for me. I am very disappointed as I've owned keens and thought they'd be as comfortable as my other pair. My previous pair has been discontinued. My last pair I didn't need too break in but these I do. My feet our killing me! I can't put inserts in the sneakers as its too short and the sneakers become too tight. Also these shoes are very stiff and very hard too break in. If your on your feet all day, these sneakers are not for you!

Zappos is great: the shoes arrived in a couple of days. The shoes are great on slippery surfaces, but they are not very comfortable. By the end of the day the soles of my feet are burning! Also, I think my pair has a factory defect because the left shoe has less toe room (my right foot is actually slightly bigger). It feels like someone is constantly stepping on my left foot. It takes my feet about 2 days to recover from wearing them. I did order a half-size larger as recommended. Maybe insoles will help.

This shoe did not have the typical wide toe box and felt smaller than it's size. Not much to look at but I wanted a plain black work shoe anyway. It's getting returned.

The shoe's insole felt good but the toe box was too small. Shoe runs small.

When I received the shoe I wore it indoors to test it. After serveral hours, the shoe felt great so I wore it to work. After three hours at work, my foot soles were killing me. I work 6 to 8 hours a day in retail and need a good shoe. I am devestated by this and now I am stuck with these horrible shoes;
I like the Toyahs but I cannot afford buying a second pair of shoes at this time. These shoes are so uncomfortable and now I am out the $$$.

Possibly one of the worst shoes I've ever tried. I love Keens, usually. I have the Voyager which are my absolute favorite shoes of all time. I can wear them for days in total comfort, walking all day on hard surfaces. I also have a similar style which isn't quite as comfortable because it's a bit narrower - Flint Low - but they have terrific support and are almost as cushioning as the Voyager. Therefore, when I needed a non-skid shoe for working and standing on concrete floors all day I chose Keen. The support system in these PTC Oxfords is vastly different from the other Keens I've tried. I thought maybe they just needed to be broken in but after 2 weeks it's just getting worse. I tried different insoles with a higher arch which did help with the support issue but there is no cushioning whatsoever. My feet hurt so badly by the end of the day I can hardly walk to my car. Additionally, whatever they've used for the uppers does stay clean but it's really stiff and now that they're 'breaking in' it's starting to rub where it's creased across my toes and I'm getting blisters from that on one foot. The only thing I can say about these PTC Oxfords that's good is that the uppers stay clean and they have good lateral support. I'm going to try some other insoles but I am not holding out hope. These hurt so badly I wore my Voyageurs to work last night and although I almost broke my neck from slipping a couple of times (Voyageurs are not slip resistant) my feet felt really good at the end of the night so I know it's these PTC Oxfords. I cannot believe that Keens are so different. Horribly disappointed. Oh yes, I usually wear a 10.5 in Keens but needed an 11 in these. Thanks to Zappos I was able to try both the 10.5 and the 11's. These absolutely do not work for me. I would return them in a hot minute if I could.
