Lady cyclists - buy this shoe! I am a roadie with two road bikes and I generally do 30-40 mile rides regularly. I have been extremely annoyed having to force my well-muscled, long-toed, high-arched, athletic lady foot into the standard road shoe. Hot numb feet by mile 20 was the norm for me. These Keen shoes let my feet splay out and you can’t beat the ventilation! The sole is not nearly as stiff as a standard cycling shoe, but is stiff enough to have a solid base to push against while pedaling. I installed my SPD cleats in a jiffy and my high-arch inserts popped right in without any trimming. OK, so they don’t look like something a hardcore road racer would wear, but who cares?

These biking sandals are the best. Not only are they comfortable, but they look great and keep you feet cool while cycling. You'll forget you have them on and find yourself walking around in them. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys the sport as much as I do. I biked 240 miles last week in them and they felt great.

Great Bike Shoe - I needed a bike shoe for a trip we are taking this summer across Missouri on the Katy Trail. I wanted something that would be cool, but appropriate for cycling. I found this Keen and I am really happy. I am wearing the shoe now as I train and it is really comfortable. I live in Seattle and despite being a sandal, it keeps my feet dry and comfortable. The shoe is also nice to wear when we get off the bike and walking around. It does not look or sound like a traditional bike shoe.

I own these sandals, and love them. I ride in them all summer, and love the way my feet feel during and after a ride. No burning, or pain or swelling. So. I bought these for my riding partner. Maybe now, she\'ll quit whining about my sandals, and just peddle! Please note, as with all Keen shoes, I tend to wear one half size larger than in most other shoes. This sandal is no exception.

Great biking shoe, so far. I bought myself a pair and have been using them on my exercise bike trying to get ready for a bike and boat trip to Croatia this summer. Since bike sandals aren't very useful during a Montana winter, I haven't been able to try them outdoors yet. I do think they will be exactly what I was hoping for when it comes to biking and sightseeing in comfort. I was so impressed that I bought a second pair for my father.

I just love these shoes. I purchased them for outdoor riding, but I also found they work great for indoor spinning classes. Keep your feet cool and comfortable.

Keen Commuter Shoe - I love this cycle sandal. I use it to teach indoor cycle classes and recently rode with them on a pretty tough mountain bike ride.

I have been wearing Keen sandals biking for years and always wished they had a stronger sole - my wish came true! These are positively the BEST!

Great bike shoe - I bought this shoe for riding my recumbent bike during the hot season here in AZ. It fits great; the straps are elastic and help with on and off. The toe protects beautifully, something I was concerned about. I also use it in my spinning class and love it there too. Clips can also be added.

Best bike shoe ever - While this style seems a bit narrower than my other Keens, it fits very well and is a wonderful bike shoe. I personally do triathlons in this and it provides a fast transition and I am able to run in this shoe (as opposed to the carbon fiber soled cycling shoes). Great option!

Cycling shoes - I didn't know Keen had cycling shoes, and stumbled upon these by accident. They're perfect. They fit well and keep my feet cool and secure during my rides. Very comfortable.

Fantastic! Fit is great and comfort is extraordinary for a bike sandal. Wow, what a great idea. Way better than the Shimano sandal and far superior quality. I highly recommend this for any bike lover.

I bought two pairs of these cycling sandals, as my wife and I are big Keen fans. The shoes are cut narrower and tighter than regular Keen sandals, in order to provide a snug fit and prevent the foot from moving around when clipped in to the pedals. When attaching SPD cleats, and tightening the screws to the torque value recommended by Shimano, one of the backing plates provided by Keen stripped. This was easily remedied, but take care when installing cleats. All in all, a fine cycling sandal and nice summer alternative to cycling shoes.

Not as stiff as my regular cycling shoes, and I don't know if I'd be comfortable riding a century with them, but they are great for kicking around in the summer or a spin class.

Great shoes - nothing else like them on the market. We use them on long bike tours, and it is so nice not to have to worry about sweaty socks and feet! They do run a bit narrow - and have only one width. I also found the stitching attaching the back heel strap came unstitched after two weeks of daily wear (on a bike tour). No problem returning them to Zappos, whom I hope sent back to Keen - but still unnerving!

I love these shoes. The sandal works great for summer use: looks good, airy, comfortable, no sock tan line, and definitely takes care of the "my shoe is wet for days" issue found with regular cycling shoes. I did notice the width seemed a little smaller than what I consider to be a standard Keen shoe width (no problem for me). And the cinching shoe ties loosen periodically (not a major issue, just annoying). But the real problem I discovered is what seems to be a defect after prolonged daily wear, such as a 2-week cycling tour. The left heel strap stitching came apart on one side, pulling the strap away from its place of attachment on the rest of the sandal. Per info at Keen's website, Keen warrants shoes due to defect, requiring the shoe vendor to initiate the return process. Wonderful Zappos (for so many reasons) is sending a replacement, which, I hope, does not fail again. Thank you, Zappos.

If you are expecting these to be a Keen sandal fit with clipless cleats, you need to look somewhere else. I\'ve been wearing them for over a year and they simply are not the Keen fit I love. I have 9 pairs of Keen\'s because they fit my short, fat foot, not true of the Commuter. I just wore them on a 135 miles ride across Alaska and by the end of the trip I am ready to throw them out. Way too narrow. Any trip under 50 miles they are passable.

After I got the right size (1/2 size bigger than usual) they were great. Velcroed my orthotics right on top of the insole. I bought these for a trip to Europe where I may do some paddling or at least beach walking. Glad to find sandals with a lot of 'body' that fit orthotics. Only Keen makes sandals with this much 'ooomph'.

I bought these shoes for spin class because my leather cycling shoes would get soaked with sweat. I thought a sandal would be perfect and I will say, these are GREAT! They are extremely comfortable and can be worn outdoors from house to gym. I highly recommend them.

I cycle a lot each weekend and have found these Keen SPD's to fit and clip perfectly and are well ventilated for hot weather riding. There is nothing comparable anywhere.

I bought these for spin class because I sweat much more than riding on my bike outside. My shoes were always getting soaked in class and with these sandals, I found a great solution. Love them!

I wear a 9.5 wide in running shoes, but the Keen cycling shoe in size 9 is great. It even fits my orthotics! Other women in regular Keen sandals like the look of my cycling sandals better than the standard ones because of the lower profile sole.

I really love these sandals. These are the first pair of biking sandals I've owned so I have nothing to compare them to, but have ridden in them 4-5 times a week upwards of 70 miles in one day and found them very comfortable. The only thing I wish they had was an absorbent pad the foot bed. Otherwise they are a great biking shoe.
