This sandal is the shorter cousin of the 5" high "Alex" sandal made famous last year by Jennifer Aniston. I could not get anything done in a 5" sandal, but these are great at 2.5". Comfortable, good looking sandal. A winner!

Love the Alex shoe by SW but it is so high so the moment I saw these, I had to have them. Considering they have a leather sole, which makes all SW shoes so comfy, the price is not bad. I wear them everywhere.

I am a size 9, but the 8.5 fits perfect! Very comfortable. Love them!

I liked that the shoe was a straight across wedge and not angled. I have a knee problem and it was fine. I first wore it all day to a party and then shopping to a mall and dinner.I forgot they were on! There was one area on my baby toe that I put a Bandaid on that rubbed. I think it was due to a corn i have. I love the look of the wedge (sexy) and the comfort. I have it in black.

Adorable and very stylish for those of us who want to wear espadrilles without the sky high wedges. They do feel a little brick like on your feet but not uncomfortable at all. You get used to it very quickly. Blister potential seems very low. Zappos service is unbelievable as always putting other e-tailors to shame!

I love these shoes! I have admired the big sister version of these (the Alex) but decided these would better suit my active lifestyle. I would highly recommend these to anyone as very versatile and stylish shoe.

I wore these shoes for the first time yesterday with capri pants and got lots of compliments. They are a great summer shoe, and for someone like me who really cannot wear the 5" espadrille, it is great. The shoe is well made - the ankle strap is a little short, but still went around the ankle, but had to use the first hole to buckle for which there is not a lot of room. The shoes are a bit like wearing bricks on your feet, but they are light weight and I got used to them quickly. The only other issue was that the toe strap was a little roomy. I wish it would have conformed more to the front of the foot, but that really not a problem. I love these shoes and have decided to get them in black as well. The shoe is a great summer look, it is very current, and works as well with jeans as it does with dressier pants, shorts, or dresses.

Love these shoes! I wanted a pair of espadrilles and the Alex (high version) were totally impractical and way too high. Others I tried looked cheap, but these are gorgeous and very well made. I first ordered the swamp color, but found it hard to match to my clothes...it was more green than tan. Re-ordered in black and was so happy with them!

Expensive but worth every penny for that perfect SW fit! I can't wear heels so I'm always on the lookout for really cute shoes with short heels, and these were a no brainer for summer. They look awesome and I get the benefit of a platform. I highly recommend them for everyone, but if you have trouble wearing heels, these are your girls.

This shoe is very comfortable. At first I thought that the shoe would not provide me with much stability, but the straps are adjustable and the shoe fits very well. It molds to the foot. It is a shoe that can be worn all day. This shoe looks fabulous with both casual and tailored clothing. Now I wish that I would have purchased the neutral color also. I have a very high arch and do not require much support.

Love this sandal! Finally found a great sandal that is not 4 inches tall but still looks sexy and is very comfortable! I am usually 10 1/2 or 11 - 10 1/2 is perfect.

Love these shoes. The fit true to size, are very comfortable and stylish. After searching for months for shoes with a lower platform than most I found these. I hope Weitzman designs others or that someone else does.

Love this shoe. It makes every thing I wear with it look very now. It goes with shorts pants and sun dresses. Extremely stylish.

I have worn this shoe two times and find it comfortable. The bottom is very slick but it was easily fixed with a stickey pad for shoes.

Beautiful sandals, got many complements on them. The only issue is the the sole is not flexible, so you have to be careful not to fall off and twist your ankle.

I love this shoe and waited for the lower wedge in the Nero black color which I was just able to find on Zappos in my size! Hopefully Stuart Weitzman will produce this style in black again.

Stuart Weitzman often offers lower heels of a great-looking shoe. I could not wear the Alex but this shoe is very comfortable and is stylish. When worn with capris or a longer length skirt and perfectly groomed feet, even those of us who are card-carrying AARP members can enjoy this summer look. I am 69.

I am so very glad SW came out with this lower heel (wedge) version of the Alex. I love this shoe. I bought all three colors and have worn them many times. I always get a lot of compliments on them. They are extremely comfy, and I usually am wearing them for 7-8 hours at a time. Thank you Zappos for carrying such a wonderful variety, and for your perfect customer service.

I love the way this cute shoe looks, but I could not keep them on my feet. My feet kept sliding out the back of the shoes!

These are esthetically gorgeous shoes in every sense of the word. That said, they don't function well...they flopped around when I tried to walk in them, perhaps something about that back strap design. But are they ever beautiful. I hope they work for you!

I am so glad I got these sandals. I love them, they are very comfortable, they fit true to size for me, I usually wear a 6.5 or 7 and I got them in 6.5 and they fit perfect. I would recommend them to anybody.

This is a very comfortable but stylish lower version of the famous Stuart Weitzman Alex, which I also have. These are, to me, a much more comfortable shoe to walk in for any length of time. I love them and would recommend them!
