I am a true 7.5 size, quite narrow foot (wear M though) and found these to be a tad short and much too narrow. My toes hang over the sole on the sides! I'll return or exchange for 0.5 size up.

I chose these primarily because I wanted a minimalist version of the bulky water sandals I have worn in the past that greatly resembled the male counterpart. The thin straps and design appeared most attractive to me among all strappy, water-friendly vegan sandals when I searched the inventory of Zappos. Initially I was deterred by the flux of reviews that pointed out the unnaturally narrow width of the sandal. But given Zappos' bargain price coupled with free overnight and return shipping, and my determination to try things for myself, I went ahead and placed my order. They arrived within 24 hours. I slipped them on and decided that these were precisely what I wanted on my feet. Mind you, I have funky feet with high arches, high instep, wide toe box and a narrow heel. So, I typically opt for very practical, functional footwear like Dansko stapled clogs (classic design, not the newer one) and Birkenstock shoes. I decided to keep these because I love the feeling of being bare-footed (I practice yoga daily) and do not always desire to put a heavy shoe on! The straps are not tight or confining, but rather feel just secure enough. I often forget that I have anything on my feet. I have decided that the purpose, if you will, of this shoe is to have just a footprint of a shoe as to protect your sole and allow you to feel as though you are walking with bare feet without the fear of stepping on hard or sharp objects. In other words, even if it appears as though your foot might spill over the edges, the sole is larger than your footprint and will keep your soles protected. They run true to size, though I ordered mine a half-size up just because I like a little room (order like you would have worn your Chinese Mary Jane slippers in the past - I always liked mine roomy).

I really like these sandals. I have a very narrow foot and did not think these would work but they do! With the velcro on the straps and the adjuster on the strap that wraps around the ankle, it works for me and they are so cute! And easy to walk in! Bring out more colors, like a navy/med blue or dark green!

Great sandal for travel, if you're doing a lot of walking, especially during rainy seasons. Not the most stylish, but definitely the most attractive of the hiking sandal options out there. Super comfortable and dries pretty quickly if you get them wet. Feel totally confident walking through unpaved areas in these. Very good support. Wish all my fashion sandals were this comfortable.

I wanted a comfortable, lightweight, knock around sandal that I could do a lot of walking in. I found it in these sandals. I would buy again.

These are really cute sandals but they are definitely not the Keens I am used to. The strapping is not forgiving and the plastic clasp is difficult. But, they are what they are - cute.

I read several reviews about these shoes running small, especially for people like me who have wide feet. I generally wear a size 8, but I ordered these in an 8½. They are a little bit long, but at least they fit in the width area. The clasps take a bit to get used to, but they do break in; after a few wearings. I do have to adjust the Velcro straps because they tend to loosen a bit. This little adjustment when I put on the shoes is certainly not a deal breaker. I think these shoes are really cute and they are the closest thing to going barefoot I have found, they are that comfortable. I have not received any compliments when I wear them, though, so it makes me wonder if others do not share my opinion. Oh well, I do not care. I still think they are cute and they are great for really hot summer days!

Unfortunately the toe hole specifically on one foot where I have a slight bunion was too tight and the shoes had to be returned. Otherwise, they were exactly as pictured. If you have a fattish big toe, these sandals may not work.

I bought these sandals because of their lightweight, waterproof fabric and adjustable features. For a few weeks, they worked well on my hard-to-fit,narrow feet as both a general walking sandal and one that I could wear when kayaking in areas that didn't require toe protection. I often had to adjust the top strap to keep the sandals secure, but this seemed a small price to pay for an otherwise very usable sandal. Unfortunately, the sandal didn't hold up to this type of moderate use and readjustment. The little plastic oval ring that secures the heel strap recently broke. So, despite its very appealing design features, I won't be ordering this sandal again unless Keen uses higher quality, more durable materials.

Love these sandals, but Keen needs to fix a couple of flaws. The ankle clasp does not stay tightened, consequently, when you walk, the strap loosens and the shoe flops around. Also, the ribbon straps stretch and after a while the velcro can't be tightened enough to hold the shoe on. Bummer! These are so comfortable and cute.

Love the shoe, but on one shoe the velcro will not stay shut I have already worn them once and so I am thinking about sewing the strap together and just use the buckle to put the sandal on and off. I love the look of this shoe and do recommend it , but just beware of the strap issue.

I am still trying to decide if I like these shoes. They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day but the straps are very annoying. They are all velcro and if I don't adjust them just right they come undone. Once I get them right they do stay secure but the extra strapping kind of sticks out. For the price of them I am not thrilled.

These are cute shoes and I wish I could keep them. They were very uncomfortable for me. The toe strap and the front of the shoe rubbed. Also, the velco strip at the ankle is very thin and rather long so the velcro did not have much space to connect together. Consequently the strap would come apart while walking.

I tried on probably a dozen pair of sandals looking for something supportive yet cute, and that would not be too chunky like Chacos or sweaty and hot. These Keens do the trick. However, I have a problem keeping the strap tight. If I walk more than 10 minutes the ankle strap loosens and I have to bend down to tighten it, which is frustrating. If I am just doing normal around the house stuff, though, these sandals are the best!

I really wanted these sandals to work out. I love Keen sandals for how comfortable and durable they are. I don't think they are very cute though. So I was really excited when I saw these because I thought the criss cross straps were so cute and stylish. I was really disappointed when they arrived to find that they run narrow and short. I do not have wide feet and have never worn "wide" shoes but my feet were hanging over on the sides and my heel was hanging off the back. I would need to order these in a 1/2 size larger than I normally wear if I wanted them to fit in length. I was also disappointed at how uncomfortable they are for being Keens. The sole is flexible, but hard. Sadly these had to go back. I ordered Chacos (also from Zappos) with cross cross straps to replace them and couldn't be happier.

I've been wearing these about a month now in city and hiking. I like them for everyday house and city life, but the reason I bought them and an outdoor sandal, turns out not so good. The lip of the sandal just invites dirt and pebbles constantly, no matter how much I tighten the strap down. And the strap loosens fairly easily from walking, so on a hike I'm repeatedly having to bend down and tighten it again. An added benefit for everyday house wear though is that you can walk on the back heel strap and wear them like a flip flop. One last thing about the size ~ the size of the sole is accurate, but weighing about 115lbs, the straps are/were loose. They're proportioned for chubbier feet than mine. So I actually sewed the strap over at one of the joints to make it a closer fit over the top of my feet.

I should have listened to some of the reviews. I was very disappointed when I had received these sandals. Although I liked them for their daintier styling, the plastic clips were too tiny and I could see them breaking in no time. One shoe, even though it was clipped on, would unclip on its own. I was sad to send these back, but there was no way I was going to spend the money on these if they were just going to break in the first few wearings.

These are super cute sandals. BUT like another reviewer mentioned the straps are like shoe laces, and I don’t see them holding up or being comfortable on the top of my foot for an entire day. For the price, I can’t make this purchase, and I’m returning them.

I was hoping these sandals would work. The photos of the sandals look really cute. But when I put them on, they looked really goofy on my feet. I think my feet are too wide for these. But overall, they were not flattering, so I sent them back.

Liked the open design and very comfortable footbed. But the strap does not stay put when cinched. On a walk, I constantly had to lean over and tighten the strap. Keen needs to fix that design.

I love Keens and I love Zappos and ordered these also for the non clunky look; however, I don't understand how the straps are designed because there is a loop in the back that should be attached to something and it just hangs there. The straps are so thin I'm afraid they will break in no time. This is pretty for Keen, but not a solid shoe for wear and tear and walking around. They are not that comfortable for me to keep. Returning I'm sorry to say. Will try another Keen pair though; I have two already and love them.

I love keens, however this sandal is really flimsy and straps are continually loose. I also have little to no confidence in the small bit of Velcro that keeps the back strap on. Great color, and the sole is Keen comfy but I would not recommend this thong. I love my thicker standard Keen sandals and I will be going with a new pair of those next summer.

I gave this sandal one star across the board because I didn't want it to average higher than my overall impression. I normally love Keens and have several other pair in different styles. This sandal is not worth half the price in terms of quality and wearability. Yes, its cute and the footbed is fairly comfortable, but the strap behind the heel, which is supposed to velcro closed, would not stay closed at all. At first I thought I could live with that, because well, they are cute and I really needed sandals. I even put an elastic band around the strap to help hold it closed. Then the strap that goes over the top of the foot, that has a plastic clasp, kept coming loose when I walked! I would tighten it (the clasp should stay when you pull the strap to tighten) but as soon as I would start walking, it would gradually loosen, and I would have to stop and tighten them frequently. Unfortunately, this was not possible to determine before I wore them out of the house. I really tried to like them, but I am ending up purchasing something different because I simply can't wear them. Very disappointing!

I have slightly wider feet so I thought Keen would be a good bet since Teva's tend to be narrow (for me). I wear 8.5 -9, got these in 8.5 and they are too long but size 8 would definitely be too narrow. The back strap is too long and I can't tighten them up any further (probably because they are too long!). The other strap loosens within 15 steps, really frustrating because they are really cute and otherwise very comfortable.
