This lightweight versatile bag is a blessing! It carries an unbelievable amount and can be converted from a backpack to a large purse in an instant.

A perfect and fantastic little bag that is way worth the money. It does everything it says it does and is attractive enough to double as a casual briefcase too. I use it all the time and it is waterproof too.

It does everything that it supposed to. My only complaint is that the handle drop is way too short. I cannot really use it as a shoulder tote since I can't put it on my shoulder, especially if I have a jacket on. It is a shame, since I like everything about it.

Lightweight and convenient, will recommend to friends! Shoulder straps could be a bit bigger.

IN LOVE with this bag. It packs away to a nice cube for commuting, and then when i need it it's a great backpack. Super light weight, and has side pockets for a phone or a water bottle. Great construction, not cheap feeling. It does not have support on the bottom of the bag, but it's still great. My mother got one as well, and she took it to Europe with her when she went site seeing. She loved it because it has a zipper (key for tourism) and you can carry it has a tote, or a backpack.

Versatility is the key word in describing this bag. It's a tote...it's a backpack. So if I need to go hands free I can! Beautiful construction and durability. Great bag.

Nice, compact, sturdy backpack/bag. Folds up into its own little pouch. I gave this to my daughter, and she loves it. I ordered this item through Zappos.com. They were great too. Delivered this quickly, and also they offer free return postage if you don't like the what you ordered! I'll definitely order through them again!

I'm using the bag right now while visiting England; I took it out of its little self-pack and used it the day I landed in London. I've been around the English countryside and there have been some rainy days but whatever is in my bag stays dry. Love the side pockets...great for water bottle, sunglasses, or an umbrella. The versatility of the carry options are very practical as well; it can be carried via two top handles like a satchel or use the backpack straps. I alternate, using the backpack straps as a shoulder strap. The top zip closure is strong & cleverly recessed, hence not easy for roaming hands to ever get to. The bag weighs almost nothing so it only gets heavy if I overload it! This was my first travel day purchase since retiring my trusted old pack, I was in a hurry when shopping but happy when I came across this item. Not having had the time to open it prior to leaving my home, it truly has been tested as it was needed and it's perfect...better than I could have hoped! It's a tiny thing...but I also love the little flower & stitched on Sherpani name...not too much, not too little. Details count! I'll be in Italy next...after that, well my Sherpani will be with me a long time. It does not look cheap, I love it!

I love this backpack. I initially purchased it to use as a gym tote but now find myself using it almost everyday for everything from work to grocery shopping. A great feature is that you can roll it up into a little ball, zip it and pack it in your luggage so that you have an additional bag to use when traveling. Great purchase for a great price. Would love to have it in other colors.

This is a great packable travel tote/backpack. I got it because of it was convertible and use the backpack feature often. It's easy to use because the backpack straps lie alongside the back so it's ready to be used that way in an instant. It's durable for what it is, but wouldn't hold up to everyday rough use. It's meant for travel/light use, and for that I think it's well worth the price.

I love this bag! It is the perfect diaper bag because it is super lightweight and roomy. I wish the shoulder straps were longer, though not a deal breaker.

I needed an inexpensive diaper bag for my kid and looked on Zappos as well as a number of other sites for something under my price range. There was not much to choose from at that price range, but this was on sale with free shipping! This bag is super lightweight, but durable as it's made from nylon. It came folded into it's little pouch, which when you open it, that pouch turns into an inside pocket with a zipper. It does not look easy to fold back into the pouch. It is doable, but will take some time and work (unlike a Chicco bag where you just stuff and you're done in a few seconds). But it has been an amazing bag for the last month. It has a pouch on the side for a drink or bottle. It has straps that make it either a backpack or a tote, a zipper at the top, and an inside pocket (just one inside pocket, the rest is just bag). I have been extremely happy with the quality so far. This would make a great diaper bag, gym bag, or grocery bag.

Smart design and well put together. I love it and will watch for new colors. Would love to have an Orange one.

I was looking for a tote/backpack combo and had decided that the ones I checked out were too heavy with all those features. I had a small gift certificate with Zappos so I used it to buy the Via. I was not disappointed. This is a wonderful bag! It has just the right amount of room and pockets, sits nicely on my back when I use it as a backpack, and even works well for me as a tote despite the short handles. My only very minor complaint is that I would like the zippers to have pulls at both ends to make it easier to open and close them. I almost never buy multiples of things, but I've bought a second one in case the first wears out, and I might get some to give as gifts.

I bought this bag to take to Portugal, as a well-traveled friend made specific recommendations about what works. This bag totally filled the bill! Lightweight, a few pockets, over the shoulder or worn as backpack...a great bag. Zappos also never fails to deliver on time and be great to deal with.

I bought this as an extra tote to take on a trip to Europe because it folded up into a little pouch that I could tuck into my suitcase. It worked perfectly and I used it far more than I thought I would. It unfolds into a light, roomy backpack that held my camera, purse, and guidebooks. I was worried that the straps might not be as comfortable as a real backpack but they were adjustable and felt just fine. I've got it folded back into its little pouch waiting for our next trip!

On a recent trip, this was my favorite travel accessory. The bag folds down to the size of a paperback book for packing, then opens up to a nice-sized day pack.

I carried this bag all over London for almost 2 weeks and found it to be extremely practical, waterproof and very light. I was able to carry this bag over my shoulder while wearing a medium weight sweater with no trouble. The small front pocket on the bag is handy for a public transit card; when carrying the Via as a tote, your arm will fall right over that pocket, handy for keeping pickpockets at bay. The backpack straps were handy also - used them when carrying the Via up to the top levels of cathedrals while on tours. Via's large size let me carry a scarf or sweater, an e-reader, a small wallet, tour books, and whatever I found and just had to have souvenier wise with no problems. I highly recommend this bag!

I am a fan of this bag; however, the straps need to be longer. The backpack straps are fine but the other ones make it difficult to put over your shoulder. You can fit a lot in the bag and it is super convenient as it can be folded down into a small pouch.

This bag saved me during a recent trip to Paris. The purse I bought didn't work so this bag ended up as my carry all. It weighs nothing and fits alot. Could be improved with larger inner pockets and better zipper which was hard to maneuver. Nothing to grip when zipping. Despite that, if you are looking for a simple, sturdy yet very light weight backpack, this is great. And it's low profile allowed me to take it into places like the Louvre and Versailles!

Awesome bag - love it and use it every day! I only wish the shoulder straps were a little longer... oh, and an inside pocket would be great.

I am taking this little gem to Thailand as my only piece of 'daypack' for day trips, sightseeing and temples - I love Sherpani for its practical, simple, feminine and functional style, this is probably my 10th piece that I recently added to my Sherpani collection. Gave it 4 star because it would have been perfect is they would have added a long strap to use it cross body, anyways I took the strap from one of my other bags (from another brand) and attached it to this one, now is just perfect!
