This is a great bag. Rugged and easy to hoist up. We liked that it is big enough to hold a weeks worth of travel gear, yet, light enough to still be worn like a pack when running through an airport.

I purchased this duffel bag for a trip to South America. It was a 2 week trip during the winter so I needed to bring jackets, a sleeping bag, and plenty of clothes to last me 2 weeks. This duffel was perfect for the needed space and room for souvenirs. This is a super light duffel which is nice for the weight conscious and it was perfect for fast travel. Don't expect the comfort of a backpacking pack (it's a duffel bag), but it still provides the needed comfort for waiting those long lines in the airport. Wear and tear, nada! The fabric used for this duffel is phenomenal. I have had the Duffel for over a year now and from my abuse and the airport's, I have zero abrasions, scratches, or scuffs. This duffel is spacious (90L), light, and durable like no other. I highly recommend this for travelers and for climbers who need a bag that can withstand the elements and that provides transportation with ease.

I have been traveling with this in the last week on a trip through Europe. Moderately packed the weight is under 40 pounds and is not too uncomfortable to wear as a back pack. I am very glad I opted for this instead of a rolling duffel.

This bag is wonderful... Lots of room for your stuff. The backpack straps make it awesome for those moments when you have to jump it between baggage claim and your cab. The blue color bag is awesome in that the material is nearly impossible to stain. After being checked on seven flights the bag looks like the day I got it. Wonderful bag!

Love these bags! I have the smaller one as well. The 90L holds a lot more than you think it would.

This bag is great, I have taken it everywhere. When we travel our bags tend to take a real good beating. I mean lets be real, baggage handlers are not very kind to our bags. This bag will hold up, and your stuff will stay dry. There have been many cases where my bag has gotten wet, but inside is nice and dry. Another plus on bag is the zippers are big enough to put a master lock through to keep your stuff secure and safe. I highly recommend this bag to all of my friends.

This is a great bag, very light and sturdy. I'm 5'4 and it's just a bit big for me. I may purchase the 60L which will be a better size and also fit in the overhead bin.

Great bag for big loads. Comfortable shoulder straps make life easy. Use this one for long sailing trips and the waterproofing is great for keeping things dry.

Bought recently for a trip to Europe and it was the perfect bag. Was able to get 10+ days worth of clothes in it. There are two pockets on the inside flap that are perfect for stuffing soft objects, so the bag is actually quite comfortable to wear as a backpack.

Ordered the bag originally for a trip I was taking and immediately upon receipt, it was hijacked by my teenagers! So I had to do the obvious thing and order another one (which they will probably figure a way to confiscate as well). Amazing bag with a focus on quality and durability for sure.

So far so good. I've just had the bag for a few weeks, but the build quality is great and it is super light for a bag of this size. Also, by the way, will fit my osprey atmos 50ag just fine for flights to adventures.

Just returned this bag after first trip with it. One of the snaps on the handle is defective and closes and opens with great difficulty (pliers and screw driver). It was used in wet conditions and our clothes all got quite wet. I think the description is misleading where it says "waterproof fabric with sewn seams protects your gear in wet conditions."

I love this bag. Unfortunately I can't endorse it, because of one major flaw. I am a peace corps volunteer, and I purchased this bag (along with the rolling version) in preparation for my departure in January. I used the bag to transport my belongings a full three times before it failed. The bag itself is great, the material durable. The problem is the plastic clip at the top of the shoulder straps. The straps are removable, and the clip that's actually sewed into the bag is plastic, and after three uses it snapped. I was carrying the bag with about 45 pounds of weight in it, and the clip snapped clean off while on my back. The strap is now useless, and since there is no long shoulder strap on this bag, I can't use it anymore to transport anything. I contacted Patagonia support, and was told that there was no guarantee they would repair the bag, despite this ridiculous issue. And Zappos said they will not replace it because it's been used. Needless to say, I'm really disappointed in this bag. The quality is not nearly what I've come to expect from Patagonia.
