Pros, very cute style. Laces are very secure. Gives some height. Cons, the sole is solid and quite stiff. Heavy and loud due to the material of the sole (not a soft rubber). Would not be comfortable for everyday wear. Not waterproof. Not great arch support.

I needed something for a job I'm on my feet for 7-9 hours for while I battle plantar fasciitis. These do alright, but they rub on my little toe. I have huge callouses from them now and they still hurt there. Otherwise, they're pretty good.

I have many style danskos these I took one size smaller in loved them got a second pair and they did something to the bottom of my foot that will not go away and now none of my shoes are comfortable. They rub on the seams and hurt after a while, just not as comfortable as leather danskos. They look nice gave my second pair to my daughter. She says they are ok for short period of time only.

These are very much a Dansko shoe; they are firm and supportive. Unlike the flat tennis shoes that they resemble these are quite firm, with a great heel height, and good arch support. They are very well made.

I have no real complaints. I have had these for two months and the shoes have faired well.

I am so happy Dansko has started making tie shoes! I have narrow, not very strong ankles. The original clogs created a lot of tendon, ankle problems even though I loved wearing them. So...the Veda tie shoe takes care of my comfort and love of the Dansko "clog". I hope they add leather prints to the Veda look!

I love Dansko shoes. I have 2 other pairs right now, plus 2 pair of sandals. This pair, Veda, I bought for work in a dental office and are also very comfortable. I had to order the next size bigger in these. Can't say enough good things about Dansko and Zappos. You are a pleasure to do business with -- quick delivery is great! Thank you.

I like the look of this shoe. I have several Dansko's but these are the only tennis shoe. I have they look great. But I had to give to my daughter because they were to narrow and one of the seems was bugging my foot. My daughter loves them and is happy I couldn't wear them.

I wear a 7m-7.5w and the 37 fit my foot perfectly. This is a comfortable shoe with good arch support. Typically, I wear orthotics, but as with all Dansko shoes, I do not need to wear them. Looks best without socks, even without the no-show socks. My feet do not get hot in them or sweaty, so going without socks works just fine. My only complaint is that the stitching just to the side the top lace wholes presses on my very small bunions. Perhaps having slightly wide feet and small bunions is the issue in my case. I love to wear these shoes but tend to only do so for shorter periods of time and not all day long. I hope that with time I will be able to wear them all of the time because they are very cute, versatile, and comfortable. I also like the rubber toe because I think it will make the shoe last longer.

First off; very cute! They are semi comfortable. My only problem with them is that they are very heavy. Would I want to tour Europe in them? No. Would they do for a day of walking and sitting, yep!

Love the way these shoes look. Very cute, however, if you're a true 7.5 they are just a tiny bit long. Don't size down, they'll be too short. Just buy thicker socks.

Love these sneaker-clogs. I was daydreaming about my many tries wearing Chuck Taylors since my teens. I just have never been able to wear them for long. They have no arch support and are so uncomfortable. It's odd, how such a dweeby look is also a bad fit. Other than being archetypal, they have zilch going for them, if they aren't comfortable. Yay for Dansko. I took off a star because the canvas is easily abraded, permanently removing the color. Mine look pretty ratty after climbing onto my mom's roof to clean her gutters.

I have severe back problems and severe left foot problems and this shoe is one of the few shoes that I can wear all day without my back or foot hurting too much. I wear it without socks and it tends to rub a bit. I know, then put socks on - but then it'd loose some of it's summer cuteness factor. The reason I gave it 4 stars is that with the first wash the shoes faded so much they now look like they are years old. My girlfriend loves the faded look, but I really wanted a bright red shoe.

These shoes are comfortable and cute. I've gotten lots of compliments when I wear them. They do not slip on and do need to be untied. They are a bit heavier than gym shoes. The color is more khaki than sand (greenish tone).

I received the white and while it fit loose but snug for my wide foot and high arch the laces helped. Unfortunately the weight of the shoe hurt my back. Otherwise I love Dansko. The shoe looks way better on you. It does not look like a nurse shoe in white canvas. It is cute and can be worn with or w/o socks and made in China-no leather-all man made.

Just a note for folks - this shoe is not Navy. It is Denim. Big difference. I like the Denim well enough and kept them, but I would have really liked to have had the Navy. Other than that, these shoes work really well for me and my skinny feet.

Love these shoes! Some have commented that they were heavy but i've spent a whole day walking around and they weren't too bad. definitely heavier than other shoes, but so cute it doesn't matter. I've gotten lots of compliments.

Great shoes, comfortable! A little large for the sizing, but I know the next size down would be too small. I am hoping these become my new trade show solution shoes.

I am so happy with my Dansko Veda shoes. I wear them daily and I can't wait to get the black ones.

I have a difficult time finding comfy shoes for work. I walk on cement floors 12 hours a day. These have great cushioning, although if I don't wear cushy socks my feet move too much causing friction marks from rubbing.

I love these shoes. They will be great for summer, whether shopping or visiting a tourist attraction. They are not the kind of shoe that makes your feet tired. Very nice arch support, the pitch of the shoe is very comfortable. The only negative is the actual weight of the shoe. With the thick rubber sole, they are heavy to pack, but sturdy when walking in them.

I love Danskos, but I have to admit, I was a little disappointed with this particular shoe. When you first put them on, they are comfortable and the fit feels good, but by the end of the day, I find that my feet are a little sore, and I am unsure as to why. My regular Dansko's are the best and I wouldn't trade them, so I was very anxious to get the tennis shoes. They look great and initially feel great, but I would say that the feel at the end of the day was a little disappointing.

I take a 40 narrow in Birkenstocks and a 40 in the Dansko Margrete (discontinued, I think). The Dansko professional, even the narrow, is too wide for me. The Veda, while wide on me, does work due to the laces. I have worn them with thin Smartwool socks. I have to lace them as tight as they go, and they are still a little wide, but not too wide. I agree with previous reviews -- the arch support is not as prominent as in the clog styles. I prefer the clog-style support. I was glad to see these at a much lower price point than the leather styles. I've only worn them twice, but they will be a fun summer shoe with capris and jeans.

I love these shoes! Only problem is by the end of the day, my big toe joint on the top of my foot hurts because the shoe is too tight. If I wear it for a shorter period of time, my feet are okay.

This was my first Dansko purchase so I had no expectations. I was surprised at their heavy weight, but they are comfortable.
