I purchased this shoe because I am a new teacher and have been looking for comfortable shoes to wear while on my feet all day. I got these because they were pretty cute (although not extremely professional) and very appropriate for a casual Friday/lab day (I teach science). They are very comfortable and I can wear them all day. But I did have to break them in first (the back rubbed on my ankles at first). To help do that I put some athletic tape on my heels under my socks to stop the rubbing. Overall, these are cute (for being comfort shoes), comfortable enough to wear on a cement floor all day, and go great with jeans.

These shoes are great. They are comfortable and stylish. I have received number compliments on them. Love!

I love these shoes. A bit heavier than I would like but very comfortable. I am a nurse and wear them to work. They really wear well but are slightly heavier like I said. By the end of a 10 hour day I am not having the pain in my feet but I am ready to take my shoes off.

These are great shoes, especially if you have back problems. I love many of the Danskos because they have a wide toe-box, which is really the healthy way to be for your feet, and the higher heels, which is good for some people's back. I got the orange one, thinking it is really cute and happy color, but in reality it turned out to be more of a Texas burnt orange color. Luckily I live in Austin, so hey, I won't send it back. Maybe I will just get one more pair. The Dansko sizing seems extremely consistent to me. I have been wearing 37 sandals from them, and these fit exactly the same way as those sandals. (Do you ladies remember the Lolitas? The ones that still sell on eBay, used, for 70 bucks or so? Don't you wish they had them back the exact same way as in the olden days, complete with the painted parrot on the insole? Anyway, these fit the same way and have similar stability and curvature to the sole.)

Love these shoes! Comfy and stylish. All black is the way to go for me, I'm a size 10 and find the white trim rather clownish.

Got these for my sister who normally wears a size 7 to 7.5 in other shoes so I got her the 38 in this shoe. It was too big so exchanged it for a 37 and it fits her perfectly. So far she really likes them. This is her first pair of Danskos. I've been a long time fan of Danskos myself. She says they are comfortable and they look really cute on her. She says she needs extra arch support so i figured why not have her try Danskos.

I have Plantar fasciitis and these are the only shoes I can wear and be comfortable. I have them in three colors and wear them with skirts, pants and shorts. Love them!

Love this shoe. I usually buy sneakers a .5 size bigger (I normally wear a 38), so when I ordered the 39, it was a tad too big... So if you order this shoe, you can order it at your regular shoe size. I am exchanging this for the right size and boy is it cute and comfy on! It has the full comfort and support of a clog without looking clunky. Plus, I love the converse/classic sneaker style. This is a great buy.

Love this shoe! It's comfortable and looks cute on. I've gotten a number of compliments from Dansko fans and non-comfort shoe fans when wearing them.

Very comfortable and fun to wear. If you also have wide feet, I highly recommend purchasing the next size up. I wear a 9 wide and ordered the 39 (8.5-9). It arrived and fit perfectly on bare/nylon feet, but was super snug with thin socks. I ordered the next size up and received them very quickly. They are a good fit and I wore them all day today without a blister, even though I didn't break them in.

I have never gotten so many compliments on my shoes as I do with these (and the Valeries I ordered at the same time). They are so cute. They are very comfortable and I'll be taking them on vacation tomorrow. My only issue is that they are a little warm. I rarely wear shoes that fully envelop my foot snugly, so they circulate less air than I'm used to. Not a big deal, just different than my experience with most Danskos.

I have two long days per week, 12 to 14 hours, of running up and down stairs in an old cement school building. These are the most comfortable shoes ever! I never thought about purchasing lace-up shoes; however, it has been great because of my high instep and I can adjust - if needed. I am purchasing another pair. They look as new today and the day I purchased them which was about four months ago. Excellent!

Can't say enough wonderful things about these shoes. I was worried my friends would think they look too "orthopedic", but they've actually asked me where THEY can buy them! I wear these every day to work and can tell when I have NOT worn them, as I start feeling some back pain when I DON'T wear them. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dansko... and am SO happy they make these "street shoes" (as I call them). So happy with DANSKO, I may be their biggest fan. I work at a Medical Practice and we tell all of our patients about them! I've even worn them to Disney for the day... and still PAIN-FREE. Dansko's are my little miracle!

I love these sneakers! They are just as comfortable as the clogs. I've gotten tons of compliments.

I absolutely adore these sneakers. I have a medium-wide forefoot, a medium-high arch, and a narrow heel. I usually wear a 9 in Frye (any style) and Old Gringo boots, and a 9 or 9.5 in street shoes, depending on make and style. The 40 in this Dansko sneaker was too large, although the length was fine. I bought the 39, which fits perfectly overall, but is too short. I'm wearing them, anyway, because they are just adorable and sublimely comfortable. If you have "bad" feet, as I do, these sneakers are sublime. But why doesn't Dansko make half sizes?

Love these shoes! I have been wearing Dansko professional clogs for about 6 years now and decided to try the Veda since they changed the dress code at work. OMG are they comfortable! They are actually way more comfortable than my new pair of clogs that cost almost 3 times as much. I am going to buy another color, love them!

Love these shoes. They have the Dansko support without being a slip on. I don't find canvas shoes as comfortable as leather but these are as good as it gets for canvas.

First, I want to say how much I love Zappos! They rock! Previously I would never buy shoes or clothes online and now I would only buy from Zappos! I love my Dansko Veda's! I have plantar fasciitis and have been looking for some cute and comfy tennies that actually offer support. These shoes fill the bill in every way! I get compliments on them every time I wear them and my feet are very happy! I have really high arches and my foot pain went away as soon as I put them on! I plan on buying another pair! I would score them even higher if I could!

I have a lot of foot problems and have been wearing New Balance shoes. A friend showed me the Dansko Veda and as it has laces for added arch support, I tried them. They are absolutely wonderful! I bought two more pairs!

To start with this shoe is super cute and goes with everything from shorts to dresses. I have tendinitis, which I wear orthotics for. I need a shoe that can comfortably fit both my feet and orthotics and has strong support. This shoe could meet all of those requirements. The only down side for me was having to break them in. I highly recommend this shoe to all

Very comfortable all day long. I've had 5 foot surgeries on one foot and don't feel a thing in these. They look nice too.

I originally purchased a pair in purple and loved them so much that I bought another pair in black! These are the most comfortable shoes that I have ever experienced. Besides, they go well with various styles of clothes; they so cute with a skirt or casual dress. The 2" heels are actually very comforting to feet and do not look heavy or awkward at all.

I love these shoes! The fit is true to size and they are so comfortable. I love the lace up top as this gives me more room on those days that I want to wear thick socks. I wear these everyday to work. There is nothing like a Dansko shoe and these are amazing!

I really like these shoes. Comfortable, and stylish enough for my tastes. The 39's fit my 8.5/9 size feet great. Most Danskos do.
