Greatest shoes! I put black and gold shoelaces in them and have gotten so many compliments. They are the most comfortable shoes ever. I love that they are vegan, and that the have such a great footbed -- memory foam for softness, and the fabulous Dansko support.

I bought these for work about 6 months ago and love the look and feel but the canvas is not holding up near the rubber. I spend this much money I would expect them to last longer. Undecided if I want to risk another pair at this point.

I have finally found the shoes I've been looking for! I spend my days at work running around on a concrete floor and until I found these shoes I was limping by the end of the day. I have flat feet and with these I can leave my orthotics at home.

These are the best! I wear them to work all the time. They are great for walking or standing on your feet all day. I like that they have laces -- makes getting them on and off easier. The slightly elevated heel is great for my plantar fasciitis.

I love my purchase of the Dansko Veda shoes! I have searched several styles and makes of work shoes and I must say- these are the best! I spend many hours a day on my feet standing and walking. Prior to my purchase, my feet were sore and the back of my legs where my knees are- ached after my long shift at work. These shoes provide me with excellent support to last all day! I am very satisfied with my purchase. I want to add that Zappos customer service is excellent and were very helpful with my purchase. The price was very reasonable also. I am very happy!

Great, supportive, stable shoes! And they're vegan! I have foot, knee, and back issues and have found these shoes to be my most comfortable pair. They're dressier than sneakers and can accommodate my custom orthoses.

I wore these shoes all over France, and all aound town. They are cute enough that you can wear them in the streets of Europe and feel almost chic. They are very comfortable, and I often have trouble with shoes. They have worn well, and only after 4 years is the canvas beginning to tear. I will buy another pair.

These are so much cuter than regular tennis shoes. I have wide feet and a high instep and they fit well - typical of Dansko fit.

Very comfortable shoe. Surprisingly light. The slight platform really are a plus as long as you're not walking on uneven surfaces like trails or cobblestone. They were not fashionable at all, however.

I use these shoes for work. I am a recovery room nurse and am on my feet a good part of the day. This is my second pair of these shoes, just a different color. I have use them on vacation in the streets of NYC. My feet never hurt and I got a few compliments about them.

I have a wide foot but narrow heel, bunions, heel spur, and high arch. These shoes have become my favorite go-to shoes. I am a teacher on my feet all day, but I never feel the spur problems in these shoes (I wear them with my own orthotic inserts); in fact, I am more energized in these shoes than in tennis shoes. Together with my orthotic insert, these shoes provide me with the best arch support of all my shoes. I have marked these shoes as "wider than marked" because these are listed as "regular" width, yet they accommodate my wide foot beautifully. My sole complaint echoes that of another reviewer: after a few months, the canvas has given away right at the bunion point. I am ordering another pair because of comfort, but I am unhappy based on "shoe life." We will see if the 2nd pair exhibits the same problem. On another note, I find that the style of these shoes is better than I expected; they don't stand out so much as "sensible shoes" and instead fade nicely into the background.

Love this style from Danskos! I have several colors and wished they'd bring back the white. Great foot support and can't live w/o them!

So far I really like these shoes. They're a little heavy maybe, but otherwise really good. I love the height of the platform and the styling is just what I wanted... not too casual, not too sporty. They feel pretty durable, too. I have pretty skinny ankles/feet, and needed a little cushion in the back of the heel to stop the shoe edge from rubbing my ankle (I'm pretty sensitive), but with that adjustment, these are super comfy. Totally recommend them.

Love these shoes! They look super cute on my size 9.5 feet. I was worried they would make my feet look huge, but another reviewer posted that she was worried about the same thing and they looked great so I took a chance. Sometimes shoes that are cute in a size 7 aren't so cute in larger sizes. These look great. Also, I have a stand up desk at work and the Veda's have great cushion for standing all day. They were a little stiff at first for long walks but seem to have broken in just fine. I get tons of compliments on them. I would definitely buy a pair in a different color.

I have been wearing the Dansko professional size 41N for years. I started working in an office environment and wanted something lighter and less clunky. The Veda fits well and the width is perfect with the laces. I wear a substantial innersole for additional even though the support is quite good. Nice quiet sole and wonderfully comfortable for all day/everyday wear. The canvas wore out and looked beat after a year of steady wear, I just bought a new pair. I love them.

I love this shoe! I bought them for work and they are so comfortable. I work in the medical field and do a lot of walking, by the end of the day my feet do not feel tired.

I work at a very busy restaurant where spills are a common and a huge hazard. After many slips and slides I decided I need a pair of slip resistant shoes. After trying two brands with unhappy results, I decided to try Dansko. What a wonderful difference, comfortable, study and not bad to look at! They're great on the job and off. I would recommend these shoes for anyone who is on the feet for an extended period of time.

I have had plantar fasciitis for 7 years now, and my feet are getting better because I wore an orthotic insert for the first five years all the time. Now that my feet are better, I am trying some shoes without the orthotic to see how it goes. This were the first shoes I wore without the orthotic and they feel great. I don't have to wear clunky granny shoes anymore and am very happy. This shoe reminds me of the Keds tennies we wore back in the 60s and 70s, with that wide toe cap, so they have this innocence about them which is very appealing - yet they have this big arch and heel which lend them an air of mod. I am a teacher and I wear these to work three out five days (I bought them in four colors and am holding myself back from buying every single color they come in) and I get lots of compliments on them. Perfect combination of fun, comfort, style, and casual professionalism. My feet are also wide and small (size 37) so that complicates matters -- so you can imagine how thrilled I am to find something that works for me. Love the Veda!

Wonderful and stylish. I have had these shoes for a month and love them. I am an X-ray Tech in a busy clinic, where I am on my feet all day moving around. My feet/ankles used to hurt by the end of the day in my tennis shoes, but not with my Dansko Vedas! I love how they are stylish and comfortable. The arch support is just right for me (having low arches). I would highly recommend the shoes to anyone.

Well made, sturdy shoe. A little on the heavy side, but that's okay. It's an excellent, good-looking shoe. Love them!

Absolutely love these. I do a lot of walking -- and my feet feel great. The price is right -- and I will most likely order another pair (different color) soon.

I bought these for work- I waitress at a bistro with varied floor surfaces (wood inside, stone patio, rubber mats). They are very comfortable and cute, I like the white stitching on the black canvas. The heel is a little lower than other dansko styles which makes them more stable, I have come very close to twisting my ankle at work in my classic mary janes and that doesn't happen in these. The sole isn't as flexible as a real athletic shoe so I do sound a little like a pony when I walk but I'm ok with that. I am very happy with these.

The Veda is great. I have "troubled" feet...bunion, beginning hammer toe, and a big toe joint that doesn't want to move. I can wear the Veda all day long and be okay! Highly recommend it...with or without bad feet. My wish is that Dansko would design a shoe that supportive that is two steps dressier. At least this has a bit of a fun look to it. And I'm thinking about getting bright colored shoelaces!

This shoe is supportive, comfortable, and gives me a better stride. I prefer it to the Dansko Professional models because it's more stable and lighter while you still get extra height.

Love this shoe. I have bunions, heel spurs, wide feet and narrow ankles. I often order a size larger to accommodate all my issues. I wear a 9 to 9-1/2, and in this shoe ordered a 40. It has more style than a regular tennis shoe, is wide enough for my bunions (even though it was not listed as a "wide" size), and is highly comfortable. I put my custom orthotics in the shoe with no problem. The arch support is wonderful.
