It is a good bag. Unfortunately, my child needs more space for books. If the main compartment had more space I would have definitely keep it.

This backpack has so much space I was able to put two pairs of shoes and a change of clothes and still wear it comfortably.

I like this backpack because it's very nice and the main comparment is very large. I like the straps because you can move where ever you want.

Forgot we got this bag here. Years later and still going strong. Perfect backpack and far better than the retail store ones that you will need to replace year after year.

I love this backpack. I bought it because I need one for my trip to Europe. I will travel with 2 small kids and the size is just perfect. There is enough space to pack everything what I need for kids and myself. Highly recommend!

I bought the backpack for my grandson to use in high school and he is very happy with the gift. Many of his classmates have them as they are very popular because the packs hold a lot of stuff...books...sports gear...water bottle, etc. The material is sturdy and will not easily tear. With high schoolers, durability is important because of their stuffing their packs in lockers or throwing them onto the gymnasium floor or trunk of a car. I believe you can even wash them, which is good because of all the snow in New York. They will get dirty with all the snow. Great buy!

I bought this backpack for my boyfriend for christmas he's an engineer at UVA and he is concerned it won't hold all of his books. It does fit his 14in laptop which I was concerned about but it only has space for one or two big books to go along with it (not a bunch of binders or multiple books). It is great quality and a good bag but if you need a lot of space for a bunch of textbooks for college or high school it probably isn't the best pick (I have the Surge II and it fits my needs perfectly with a separate spot for a laptop). For what I paid though this bag will work well it is a great value for a northface backpack!

I bought the vault for my daughter for school, lets just say she loves it just like every TNF product we have. you only get quality when you shop TNF!!!

Love the backpack! Sturdy and holds lots of stuff. I know from other purchases from the north face that this backpack will hold up and serve its purpose for many years. There is a place for a laptop and everything fits in nicely!

This backpack was perfect for me. I am about to go to college and the backpack isn't too small but it's not too big for me to carry around campus.

Thus backpack is just as described. It has plenty if room for my white coat and scrubs + iPad I take to the hospital every day. Have also taken it on hikes and it has more than enough room. Would highly recommend this for anyone on the go in need of a durable spacious light backpack

The bag is very good. It makes my back relax when I'm wearing it. Also it carries more than what you think it could. No matter how heavy it is; when it's on your back its light. Not to mention, that warms your back in the cold.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and I'm sure she'll love it.

This backpack has been with me for 14 plus years. It has traveled with me through Europe. Domestically, I use it every day. When shopping for groceries, the main section, can handle any groceries which fit in the top rear basket of a shopping cart and weight seem to be limited to only that which you swing back and carry on your shoulders. Only the accumulated stains and dirt lead me to replace it at all.
