The shoes fit and feel perfect. Complimentary shipping upgrade was awesome; will be back and recommend this site to others. Thanks for excellent service. Zappos rocks.

These are very good running shoes. The online description is accurate and the free delivery helps make the price a good value.

I've been through a lot of different shoes in my running career, but oddly enough I've never owned a pair of Asics. I'm a pretty heavy runner, 6 ft, 200 lbs, and I've been with Brooks for the past 5 years. Brooks just weren't cutting it anymore so I began the quest for a new shoe. Given my weight, my preference for a wider toe box, and that I am a heel striker, I'm looking for a neutral-ish, cushioned shoe. I opted for the Cumulus 11 based upon reviews and comparisons of the same platform on different shoes weighed against my experience with other brands. 3 weeks and 100 miles later, I'm loving the shoe. There was no 'break in' period and the shoe feels just as good on day 21 as it did on day 1. I am an Asics fan from here on out. Kudos to the whole Zappos purchasing experience as well!

These shoes were great! Perfect and true to size! My husband usually wears Asics so these weren't a surprise! The delivery was quick! We're at an APO address and I figured a week or two, but I say less than 7 days! We love Zappos and will continue to order from them again!

This is a great shoe. I bought it in extra wide, and I liked it so much I bought two. My experience is if you find a good shoe, go ahead and get several pairs because you never know when they\'re going to be discontinued.

These Asics Gel-Cumulus 11 shoes are so comfortable, I feel like I\'m not wearing shoes at all. They have a good bounce, and I don\'t feel any of the gel packs under my feet, which is a good sign that the gel is spread evenly. I didn\'t have any trouble breaking them in whatsoever. My first run with them was 7 miles through the streets of Washington, DC. They ran over pavement, metal, dirt, grass, asphalt, wood, and cobblestone without problems.\r\n\r\nBy the second run, I felt they were fully broken in, and I ran 17 miles without any pains or sores from having new shoes. I threw the old ones out immediately. In fact, writing this review reminds me that I want to buy another pair of these, so I can alternate the wear on these, in case something happens to one pair during training.\r\n\r\nI have wide feet, so these shoes work perfect for me. My feet have plenty of room to expand once I get into double-digit runs. They breathe very easy and are able to whisk away water with ease. Also, they have yet to untie themselves while running, so the laces stay intact.\r\n\r\nEven for casual wear, they look stylish and comfortable, especially while wearing running socks. My feet feel a bit snug with regular cotton socks. And since people generally don\'t untie shoes when taking them off, these are easy to pop off the heel. No worries though--they don\'t feel like they\'re going to pop off while running, since they have a firm grip around your heel.\r\n\r\nI also wore them while taking a class in curling (similar to shuffle board on ice), and they kept my feet warm even when I was sliding around on ice for a couple hours!\r\n\r\nWhat else can I say? They are the perfect running shoes, and I plan on buying them over and over again until they are discontinued or until I can run no longer. \r\n\r\nI purchased them from Zappos.com\'s online store. I am training for a full marathon at the Las Vegas Marathon in December 2009.

As a gal with a wide foot and a high arch, I was so happy to find ASICS running shoes. Asics have it all for me - authentically wide footbed, superior support, and cloud-like cushioning (it’s the gel, you see). I’ve tried NB and Adidas and Asics are truly my shoe. I wear 8.5 WW in ladies’ street shoes and 84E in Asics men’s running.

These are great shoes. I got wides this time, which I normally don't get, but they fit really well. They keep my feet cool, too. It was a great value.

I originally purchased a pair of Spira running shoes that caused enough pain in my left foot for me to contemplate going to the doctor to see if it was broken. Zappos graciously accepted my return four months after I purchased the shoes; great service! I purchased these replacement sneakers and am very happy with their performance; no pain in my foot! I highly recommend all Asics products and of course Zappos.

Received these shoes next day after ordering them, you must be kidding on that. Service is beyond great. These are now my favorite shoe. I had to go with 4E width and the fit is perfect with the heel area being just right. Very lightweight shoe, excellent breathable mesh construction. I went through 6 pairs of sneakers before I found these, the search is over at last.

These shoes are like walking on a cloud, and I'm a walker. When I took my first step I realized the Gel-Cumulus 11 is the best shoe I've ever used. When I walk, I get a spring off the heel and toe. I walk up and down paved hills and my feet never get hot or sore. They're so lightweight, it feels like they're not even there.

Running in this shoe is amazing, and Zappos did a fantastic job in delivering ahead of the schedule that they said they were going to. Excellent job all around!

I've been an avid fan of Gel Cumulus since 2003. However, this is my least favorite iteration, for two reasons, both related to a large bunion on my right foot. One, they've locked the tongue in place, which makes adjusting the shoe to fit better difficult. Two, the stitching for the external strips runs right over the bunion area. Combined, both of these features cause the shoe to feel narrow than past versions. The solution has been to leave the laces looser. That said, hard to find a better shoe out there in a 4E that enables me to run with a bunion.

I used to be an avid cross country runner, and now that college has slowed down a bit and I have some time on my hands, I've started running again. I used to only go with the Asics Gel-DS Trainers, but these are perfect for a moderate runner. I'm pretty large (200+ lbs) and I have little to no joint pain whatsoever with these shoes. I wouldn't suggest these for competitive running, as the soles are a little large for serious terrain, but work well for anything outside of that.

If you want cushioning, you got it. Good for my high arches. Order a 1/2 size up. I don't think this shoe would be good for guys over 180 lbs.

These are a good value, but are lacking in arch support, also feel heavier than the more expensive Gel Nimbus. Very good cushioning and protection for aging knees and feet.

If you seek a cushioned ride, Asics Gel is the best solution I\'ve found.

Comfortable and supportive but ugly. Honestly I am not sure what is visually appealing about these shoes. Yes they are ASICS and have the usual quality materials and support, but whew, I opened them and man I really thought they were the ugliest things I had seen in a while, so I returned them. Size seemed to meet my expectation and width seemed typical to me for ASICS.

I got this shoe last week, and went 12 miles this weekend. The 11 is not as comfortable a fit as the 9 was. The toe box was roomy, the fit was good except for the heel. The heel cup rubbed blisters on the insides of both heels. I\'ve never had that in any of my running shoes before.

I got these because I had the Gel-Cumulus 10's and I really like them. Unfortunately these are nothing like their predecessor. The cushioning is much worse, I have yet to go for a pain free run in these. Also the padding in the upper part of the shoe is gone. The Cumulus 10's had a lot of upper cushion (it did make the shoe look bulky, but it was comfortable), these shoes did into the sides and top of my feet. They are very uncomfortable to run in. I would not recommend them at all.
