I bought this shirt for every day work. I am required to wear a high-vis vest on my jobsite, and the heat really starts to get to me. I like these shirts due to the lightweight, breathable fabric. They help me stay cool while looking somewhat professional. I will be ordering several more in different colors to expand my summer wardrobe. I ordered up a size, because I feel that they run a little small.

For travel I use these blouses in all colors. Have short sleeves for sites that require a shoulder cover. Are cool. Can wash in hotel before bed and are dry in the morning. If wrinkle a bit in your suitcase, after you wear a short time, the wrinkles fall out. Even has a side zip pocket for your passport, tickets or a few dollars. Have even zipped my cell phone up to free my hands for shopping.

I like the versatility of this shirt, basically getting both short and long sleeve shirt in one. Plan on ordering more.

I was looking for long sleeve travel shirts. These are perfect! I am a large framed woman and the size fits like it tailored. The fabric is soft and easy to wear.

As a cancer survivor this shirt has helped me once again enjoy outdoor activities by keeping me cooler and an added layer of sun protection.

I use this shirt for fly fishing, hiking, kayaking and a whole host of other activities, including just hanging out. I do like the little velcro tab across the left chest area to hold my rod while changing flies. I have this shirt in long sleeve too. Everyone is different but the fit is a tad loose for me. It IS shapely so doesn't look like a man's shirt. I'm a plus size and usually take a 2x or 3x (22/24). I chose the 3x. I think the 2x might have been too tight but not sure. I never feel sweaty in this shirt, it moves with me, protects me from the sun, and it looks nice to wear it casually due to its collar.
The only odd thing about it is the hidden zippered pockets in the sides of the shirt. I appreciate them there, but it took a few times wearing it to get used to due to the stiffness.
Also, you cant be anywhere close to velcro (so be careful in the wash!) because the fabric WILL catch on it. Other than that I love this shirt and already have in various colors. My fav is the blue Macaw which is stunning on me!

I love, love, love this shirt. It is so comfortable and cool for hot summer days. Whether I'm hiking, gardening or running errands it is perfect. BTW - I own 4 of them. That should tell you how much I love this shirt.

This shirt has no negatives. It is light and the fit is perfect throughout the shirt. The hidden-zipper, large pockets are quite handy.
It's great for over a base layer shirt or alone. I wear it to work in an office and out on the trail.

I have several Tamiami II shirts and prefer them to other Columbia women's shirts because:
1. Snaps! Much easier to use than buttons, especially for anyone with arthritis.
2. Travel Friendly! Lightweight and they hand wash & drip dry.
3. No Wrinkles! They dry wrinkle free.
4. Comfort! The fabric is soft and the mesh-lined back vent is a cooling plus.
5. Short Sleeves! Much more practical for warm weather.
PS: I'm 5/7", 210 pounds and a 40C. I buy this shirt in a 2X which, on me, is slightly wide through the bust; but the shirt looks fine due to the soft, lightweight fabric. (I returned this shirt in a 1X because it's too tight through the body.) I prefer summer shirts to be slightly loose anyway.

Great shirt. Loved the bright pink color! Fits true to size and is nice and cool in the hot, humid weather here.

These will be excellent for my upcoming trip to Africa. How nice it is to get what you ordered and be so happy with it that you are back for more. I'm beginning to think my whole wardrobe for this trip will be with Columbia. This review will be repeated in another item I got that I'm back to get another one as well, some pants.

This shirt can be worn for many occasions. I use it when hiking, going to lunch, and attending other casual functions. It is easy to pack and with a simple shake out it's ready to go.

I wear these shirts almost every day . I prefer dark colors and was hoping for a navy. They did add a blue that is darker. Not dark enough, but better than the light colors. I work with animals and the dark colors are best for obvious reasons.
They are well made, easy to wash and if they get wet they dry quickly .
Great shirt!
Please add Navy!

Comfortable, enjoy blue color, warm enough to keep heat in for layers, cool due to type of material. washes very well, packs well in luggage so no ironing is needed. Love the hidden pockets to carry a credit card or such. Have ordered more than this and like the pink, white, green shirts.. I have used for layering and am excited to use in sunny weather for protection from the rays.

Wearing these for years so I've been able to acquire many colors; both long and short sleeved: 30 so far. (I have socks to match them.) I work in an office, a tent or makeshift office. This has become my uniform. They pack well; love the snaps; love the side pockets. The material is not truly snag resistant. I have garment bags that I use in washing machine and dryer.

I purchased this shirt for my sister who has skin cancer. The shirt wicks away moisture and keeps your arms and neck completely covered. My sister loves that after washing the shirt it only takes 10-15 minutes to dry. Also, when my sister travels she can wash the shirt in the sink and hang dry the shirt to wear the next day.

A great, flattering technical shirt. I don't fish, but wear this for hiking and for work (emergency management). It's very comfortable, and isn't too tight around the bust like many button up shirts are. I really like the variety of colors available. I purchased this in the Blue Macaw color, which is bright but not overly so.

I recently took two of these shirts to the Galapagos. The sun is very strong there and I loved these shirts! They roll up easily for packing and are very comfortable and light-weight. The snaps are easier than buttons and the rolled-up sleeves stay nicely in place with the fasteners. This was the perfect shirt for SPF coverage, comfort and it always looked neat.
