I searched long and hard looking for a pair of light weight shorts. And I finally found them in Columbia Cargo Shorts. The material is very light and not heavy which makes wearing them during the hot months very comfortable. They fit more or less true to size. I wear a size 12 in slacks but chose a size 14 in the shorts. Bought 2 pair -- red and black. My only wish is that Columbia would have added a few more zippered pockets on them so I wouldn't have to carry a separate bag for incidentals. Diane South Carolina

This is my second pair and I love them! Light weight, comfortable, easy to travel (which I do a lot). I'm planning on keep buying these shorts as long as they make them. I would love to see more colors thought.

Love the shorts, I have had 3 pair that I was replacing (25 years of wear), Wished the cargo pockets were bigger, doesn't hold wallet or money, Also missed the stretchable belts you used to have. And the back pocket! Good shorts

Love these shorts! They are great over a swimsuit, for hiking, or even to an amusement park!

I love these shorts. I started with two pairs and just ordered two more. They are comfortable and flattering. The 6" length is just right to make your legs look good. The fabric breathes and dries really quickly. The xsmall fits just right (112 pounds, 5'6"). The range of colors means you can get shorts to match virtually any top. Like most Columbia products, the quality is great they are worth the investment.

At first I Purchased these in a size large and they were borderline too big. (Im trying to loose weight so I wasnt sure if the large would fit). I ordered a medium and they fit just right! I am 5'6" and 144lbs I love the material, they are moisture wicking and if they do get wet, they dry quickly. They are light weight and I like the small zippered pocket at the bottom , which is just the right size for a credit card. They are very comfortable too.

This cargo short was perfect for me. It's a light material and has a upf of 30. I'm self-conscious of my thighs and actually used the cargo shorts as a bathing suit bottom cover up (I had a one piece on). The nylon material was so light and allowed the shorts to dry quickly. Of course, I've used the cargo shorts for it's normal use - walking around town too and the blue color gives it a dressy look. I definitely recommend!

These are great shorts for boating. They are comfortable, lightweight, and quick drying. And they look GREAT.

These shorts are quality made and fit perfectly. I love the elastic waist which makes them super comfortable. The length is perfect, not too short, not too long. They wash easily and can be hung or dried in drier. They dry quickly! I LOVE these shorts and have bought 3 pair!

I purchased my first (of many to come) pair of Columbia Sportswear shorts. I wear shorts at work along with my Columbia Shirts and these are extremely comfortable to wear on long hot and humid days.

I love these shorts! With this purchase I now have 6 pairs of them. They are super cool and comfortable and they dry quickly if they get wet. A perfect length for me and the pockets are great.

I'm taking a vacation to Costa Rica and I needed to get quick drying shorts. This pair was one that I selected. It works great for packing and dries quickly.

I have purchased these shorts both in the store and on line when they were on sale. Good fit, nice colors, secure pockets, easy care, pack nicely. What's not to love?

I ordered two shorts one in navy blue & one in beige. I received my order well before the date as indicated on my order. I like the material, color & it fits perfectly. I ordered xsmall. I love the belt which is included, the two front pockets & side zipper pocket for personal items that I can use anytime I am out running or walking in our neighborhood.

Got these to replace a similar pair of Columbia water shorts that are probably 20 years old - I kid you not! These fit nicely, look great on and are just what I need over a bathing suit for kayaking, boating, etc. I'd say the sizing is pretty accurate. I usually wear an 8-10 in pants as I'm 5'4", ~120 lbs and thick-waisted. Bought these in medium and they are just right - not too tight, not too big (said Goldilocks). Just wish they had these in some brighter colors.

This is a great short. The fabric is lightweight and very comfortable. The length and fit is good and allows for easy movement. The belt adds a nice touch but could be worn without it. I would like pants styled like this.

Absolutely love these shorts. I bought one pair & wear them so much I decided to buy 3 more. Comfortable, light weight, quick drying, lots of pockets. Great for running, around the house or when you want to dress extremely casual.

These shorts are perfect for theme parks water rides.... you dry off quickly and you're ready for your next ride.
