I used a Zappos gift card I received to purchase this in the Happy Snails pattern and I love everything about it! I am a working professional and a part time graduate student, so I need to carry my laptop, plus several books and binders on a regular basis. The front pocket is perfect for my "purse" items, eliminating the need for a second bag. This backpack holds everything perfectly without looking or feeling bulky. I highly recommend it to anyone. I use this for grad school. It's great. Lots of compartments for pens and little things in the front, a good amount of room for notebooks and books, and the laptop sleeve is great. It's also very comfortable - easy on the back.

Bought this for my daughter for school. Fits a large binder, lunch box and other school items. She loves it! Not too big either.

This comfy backpack doesn't make me look like I'm in college. It carries a lot of stuff and has perfect pockets for all my electronics. The space for my 15 inch Mac laptop is perfect. I carried it all over France for my Bonjour 40 trip, and received many compliments on it. The cotton straps are really nice in summer and they don't dig in, no matter how much stuff I put in here. And with a top handle, I can carry it like a bag if I want to. The pattern helps keep it looking clean.

I like this backpack a lot. It's very comfortable, and doesn't feel as heavy on my shoulders as other backpacks. The straps are well-padded, as is the back of the bag. I wish the front compartment had a little more space, but overall the storage is great - lots of pockets for organization in the front, plenty of room in the main section, and a really useful laptop sleeve in the very back - I use this for folders and papers as well as my laptop.

I heart this backpack! Vera Bradley has recently become popular in our school, and I didn\'t want to feel left out, so I bought this backpack. I was not disappointed. It\'s soft, well made, and beautiful. And, as a plus it can fit all my binders plus notebooks. The laptop compartment can fit more than just a laptop!

I have had this bag for a year, and the fabric is starting to wear through, especially on the bottom. I really like the bag, but for this price, I would have liked it to have lasted longer than a year. Next time I will buy something made of a more durable fabric.

I loved the idea of this backpack for my iPad and keyboard and adore the "Heather" design. However, my first subway trip convinced me it's not for the grime of city living. I was afraid to put it down for fear of getting it dirty, since it's all padded cotton. Love it, but back it went.

This bag is beautiful and probably a great size if your student does not have a lot of large books and a laptop. Had to switch to a bigger back to use for school.
