Great shirt. Keeps you cool, dry and out of the sun while looking great. Extremely disappointed with the fit though, I ordered a medium and found it to be much too big. My next order was for a small and I found that to be even bigger! I planned on buying this shirt in several of the different colors but I can't afford to keep buying shirts that don't fit right. Fitment issues aside, this would be a great shirt for those hot and sunny days on the water.

Bought 3 for my husband. The shirts are beautiful, however, runs way too big. The size small looks like a typical large.

These are great shirts but I highly recommend buying a size smaller than normal. They run big. Wish I had the time to exchange for the right size before my trip! Next time.

Nice shirt but sizing runs way too large. Color is bright and material is nice. I carelessly ripped off the tag before putting on the shirt and now I am stuck with a bed sheet pretending to be a shirt.

Nice shirt but runs very large. Ordered two in different colors for my teenage son to wear on spring break. Ordered men's XS but fit more like a men's M. He couldn't wear them and they had to be returned.

I received this shirt a little over a month ago. I really like the look and the feel of this shirt. When I took it out of the dryer today, the entire bottom hem was out of the shirt and the thread was wrapped around several other garments. A complete mess to deal with. When I called for Warranty support I am told that I have to mail the shirt in for repairs. Of course, this is at my expense. I should not have an issue like this with a shirt that I have worn 3 times. Very disappointed in the lack of quality work done on this shirt.

The title says it all. Bought this shirt a few years ago in a M and it fit on the loose side then, but was wearable. This version in the same size looks like it was made for a much bigger person. On another note, I would have purchased more at the same time but the choice of colors was so bizarre/flourescent this was it. Columbia used to be my go-to retailer because the sizing was dependable and the selection good. Not so much these days. Hope that changes.

I order a L size, but it looks like a XL size, I am going use that as a gift to a friend, besides that still a good shirt.

These fit so much bigger than other similar long sleeves sold by Columbia. I'm not sure why the sizing is so drastically different. Even Columbia tells you to order a size down with this shirt. It's more like 2 sizes. How can't a clothing company reliably figure out sizing? Makes it tough to shop.

I have several of these shirts, and I like them very well. This particular shirt was way too big. I am guessing that it was an XL mislabeled as a L.

Great shirt, looks good! After one wash, however the stitching on the left sleeve has come undone. Not what I was expecting from a brand new shirt.

I bought 5 of these shirts and loved them right off the bat. Unfortunately after the first wash that feeling went away. The first time washing these shirts 3 out of the 5 had the stitching on the cuffs come undone. I've filed a warranty claim but am still extremely disappointed because when they aren't falling apart they're awesome shirts. Now I'm paranoid my 2 non damaged ones will fall apart at any moment. If you get non defective ones they're fantastic. Apparently I just have the worst luck.

I absolutely love the shirts for the feel and the way they protect you from the sun but the quality of how the shirt was made is terrible. We've purchased at least 50 of these shirts for outside work purposes and after the first wash, the stitching has started to unravel on most of them. Very disappointing

I always, always wear a medium for years now. When this came in, I was so excited and ripped off the tag and put it on. It was like I was wearing a dress. Looks and fits like an XL. I've never not fit a M. Wasted my money, and had to order another a size smaller.

This shirt is a favorite and works well, however it has some production flaws that make it bad. The stitching on 3 separate shirts has begun to unravel less than a year later and the fabric is fraying because of it. These shirts need better stitching, period. Second is the printed logo. The graphic started peeling after the first wash and are always hung to dry. Minor yet still annoying. Pro: Good SPF protection Con: Terrible stitching, Graphic peels quickly

The small fits like a large.

Ordered a large and it fits like an XXL. I was dumb and removed the tag before trying it on so I'm unable to return it.

Sleeves were too long. Good fit through body and true to size for a Medium but the sleeve length is ridiculous. Great product and excellent quality/function but i gave it two stars because there is a trend with Columbia shirts and jackets running either big or long. Hadley ever true to size. They need to re-do their sizing chart and make it more accurate.

I wear shirts MED to LG. I ordered three of the PFG Terminal shirts in size medium...1388261. They are way too large. I mean hang all over me large. I had to send them back paying $10 for return freight and reorder size small, which I will be paying freight again. I am waiting for re-order and hoping for a good fit. 9-21-2014

I will only comment on the fit, because I sent the shirt back for refund due to size and fit. The material was very comfortable and the shirt seemed durable enough. Unfortunately the shirt was way too big. I read the previous reviews stating that the shirt ran large and used the Columbia sizing chart to estimate that I should order a small. Typically medium size shirts fit me well and I have a few size large for shirts cut a little small. I have never purchased a small before but that is what the sizing chart recommended. The small size shirt still hung down past my butt and the cuffs extended past my thumbs. The cuffs were tight enough to keep the sleeves in place but when I bunched them up the extra material in the upper arm / armpit area of the shirt really piles up. My wife laughed and said it looked like I was wearing a puffy pirate shirt. I get the concept of loose, flowing material to keep you cool, but this was too much. If the shirt would have fit properly, I would have kept it because it did feel comfortable (material) and felt like it would work to keep you cool but it fit like a tent and the extra material in the upper arm area just felt weird and baggy.

I have several colombia fishing shirts and I love the way they feel and protect from the sun while staying cool. The fabric on this shirt is different and it actually looks funny when you have it on it will show all your chest hair as little bumps. It is not the same knit material of the other shirts :(. Colombia shirts run big so you might wanna consider buying one size smaller then you regular wear.

I bought this shirt for my husband before a holiday with the family. He is sensitive to the sun. The shirt fit well and handled the sun as advertised. Problem is that there was a pull in the sleeve after the very first use leaving me with what appears to be a small tear. Not sure how this happened but suspect he bumped up against something while walking around the pool. Neither of us can figure out what. I would have expected the shirt to have held up better. Very dissapointing.
