Customer Reviews Bloch Kids Bunnyhop Ballet Slipper (Toddler/Little Kid)

I purchased these for my daughter because her other Bloch ballet slippers were too small. I thought these would be the same in fit/style, but they were not. Her old slippers were purchased from a dance store and were a better quality. They also fit very differently. She is only four, so these would be fine to dance in and seem better than other options out there. I just wanted people to know that they must be a lesser quality line from the Bloch ballet shoes. I ended up sending them back because they fit so differently from the other type. I did not end up with the right size or width.

Would have given a higher rating except these obviously are not made well. The first time trying in, the strap broke. We need for a recital or I would have returned!

Bloch Giselle is much better - softer, more padding on bottom and nicer style and color. Bunnyhop runs tts and Giselle runs small so order at least 2 sizes (i.e. 2 half sizes) up if you order the latter

My daughter has pretty wide feet but the W in this was a lot narrower than the W in the Capezio brand. In fact Bloch W did not seem wide to me at all. Additionally while I sized up 1/2 based on most reviews, it wasn't enough, the shoes are too short, I needed to go up a full size larger (this was true for Capezio as well). Finally, the shoes are poorly marked. I ordered W but on the shoe box it says C where I assume A corresponds to the brand's N, B to its M, and D to its XW. But it took me a few minutes to sort this out, and it's unnecessary. Just call it what it is, Wide, or whatever.

BEWARE. These are NOT Bloch; they are fakes that arrive in an old re-used Block bag. They are super cheaply made and the elastic strap across the top is sewn in the wrong place.

These did not hold up well at all. We have used them as class shoes for years but I could not believe how they looked after 2 months!
