The heel cushioning was insufficient around the sides. The heel box cut into my foot. Going to try another style.

I think this is a great shoe - really comfortable. I can spend all day in them (think Disneyworld) and not have sore feet. However I would like to see them in more colors also.

I wanted a good walking shoe and this seems to deliver. It has nice support, good arch support nice toe room and deep heel cup and is comfortable right out of the box. Unfortunately they look like my mother’s walking shoes— oh well vanity must go out the window if these shoes let me walk comfortably! I plan to keep them

Great shoe! Two months after bunion surgery, I finally found a pair of shoes that I can wear. Most shoes do not accomodate incision area and swelling. Now if I could only find a nice pair of dress shoes.

Nice Shoe. Too narrow, not deep enough in heel to accommodate lifts.

God Bless Zappos. I have ordered 100 of shoes. My feet are the worst. I’m sending this back but ordering 1/2 larger and a wide. I have PF and Achilles Tendinitis after surgery and injections nothing works. I used to wear nothing but ASIC but they have changed so much just can bear them.

I have difficult feet to fit... a little too big for most size 11s, quite a bit too short for most size 12s. And wide, with high arches and plantar fasciitis. So I order a variety of sizes, going by previous experience with different brands. In the past I have loved Saucony shoes, so was pretty sure I would like these, but uncertain about size. Ordered both an 11W and a 12M. The 11s were perfect width, but indeed just a hair too short (toes hit the end of the shoe) and the 12s are indeed too long and a little too narrow, but might work. Still considering. Not much support for my high arches, but they would work well with Superfeet Green insoles. And though they are not exactly dressy, they look pretty good... make my feet look smaller!

To fit well on one foot I will need to go up to a size larger to accommodate my orthotic. If you have a thick cushioned orthotic (which I trying next) you may need more room either in the toe or width. I chose to go up a size, but not wider. These have a pretty wide toe bed and not too stiff in the heel. I would like more cushioning built into the shoe itself since the insole must be removed for arch support.

Odd shoe. So much material, for what purpose? All on the top instead of sides for comfort...Screams “I am a shoe!” Have to get lacing correct or foot slips forward too much. Keeping because of reviews and not too expensive. Tell my husband I have joined the old lady club now with these shoes. Yes, I am there in age.
Because of way shoe fits without spending too much time on lacing, would not buy a second pair.

Wanted to keep these shoes but the heel backing was rubbing against the back of my heels when I walked. Had to finally go with a Nike--can't go wrong with them, though I never was a fan of the check mark look--Nikes fit well.

These are not a pretty shoe, nor a stylish one. The front of the toe started peeling down and the leather upper showed wear within a week of my first wearing them. But, oh, my goodness, this is a comfortable shoe! I have been dealing with plantar fasciitis for nearly two years, and I have lived in these shoes for all but two months of that. I wear custom orthotics, which these shoes accommodate perfectly. The sole on this shoe is neither too soft (like the gel-based ASICS Nimbus line) nor too rigid (like most non-athletic shoes), and the shoe is not too heavy for perpetually tired feet. And despite the initial signs of wear, the shoe has held up to daily use for a long, long time.

These shoes were ok. I'm looking for walking shoes, but so far my Mizuno running shoes are by far more comfortable than any brand of walking shoe I've tried. This particular pair had one shoelace that was 7-1/2 inches longer than the other one. Yes, nerdy me took them out and measured. They are also fairly unattractive shoes.

At first I tried them with heavy sport socks and was afraid they night be too narrow. They are fine with regular sport socks. They are comfortable and give good support for walking. Like many of the others who gave reviews, I have bunions and I have not had any pain or discomfort from these shoes. They are stiffer than I anticipated after reading the other reviews, not pillowy but still very comfortable. A very good value.

The Saucony Progrid is an overall great sneaker. ft's great for walking, very attractive and true to size. However, excellent arch support is critical to my comfort and walk ability so thank goodness I had my own orthotics to replace the Progrid's footbed. If not, I would have had to return this otherwise lovely sneaker. Hence, the four star review. With my own orthodics it's five stars.

Overall I really like these shoes. I needed some leather sneakers for my job and these fit the bill. The are a little tight in the toe, especially compared to my other Sauconys, and they do tend to run a bit hot. They are supportive and cushiony in all the right places.

The shoe is not bad. The looks are not totally ugly but not totally cute either. It has good traction, simple colors, a thick sole, and a roomy toebox. I wished the arch support would be a little higher. Also the sole is not as instantly as cushy as I thought it would be based on other reviews. However, it could soften up with more use. I don't think it can be used for "working on your feet all day shoe" like I wanted but should be a good casual walker.

I am very pleased with these sneakers. They are so comfortable! I work on cement floors and most of my other shoes were leaving my feet and legs tired and achey. I have wide feet and am getting bunions. These Sauconys are nice and wide so they haven't pinched my feet a bit. Plus I can be on my feet on the cement all day and they don't get tired or hurt.

Didn't know what to expect because haven't worn Saucony for years. I actually really love this shoe, I wear them for working out and just everyday stuff and it is very comfortable. The style is a little orthopedic looking but not bad and pretty good with jeans.

As a foot sufferer (bunions, neuromas, hammer toes), this shoe works very nicely. As other reviewers have stated, the toe box is wide enough to accommodate all of the above problems. One thing especially of note is that this shoe accommodates orthotics. And usually, I have to remove the inner sole before placing my orthotic in, but the removable sole on this shoe is very thin and so can remain, which I think is a plus. The shoe is comfortable and breathable. It's a tad heavy, and it's not the most attractive shoe in the world. But for comfort and support, it's excellent.
