The shoes were very comfortable from the first time I put them on. However there is very little arch support, and since my one foot pronates, I have to wear an orthotic on that side. The shoes are made of a soft leather and the soft padded tongue is a real plus for my sensitive feet. The beige color will go well with most anything, and I like the up to date style.

I originally ordered these in my usual size of 9.5 medium, however, due to thicker orthotics (triple density) and changes in ,y feet due to arthritis, I needed to go up in size and width to accommodate the orthotic. Note that these orthotics are custom for my particular condition. If not for that I could have worn my usual size. These shoes are very comfortable and feel right in fit. They are nice looking and the uppers are soft leather.

I bought my first pair of Saucony walking shoes 16 years ago when they were recommended to me for a 26.2 mile walk (some people ran, not me nor many of us older ones...I was 59 then) at the annual White Sands Missile Range Marathon in New Mexico. I passed people with blisters and bandages, rubbing their feet, dropping out, having to get picked up at rest stops by rescuer soldiers on ATVs. I kept walking along, no problems. I am 75 now and still walking just fine and dandy! I never have bought or ever will buy any other walking shoe. (I should also point out that they have an incrdible lifespan and I have had to re-order additional pairs only a few times.) Because of all this walking...average four to five miles a day...I am in perfect health and perfect weight. My feet are doing great, so are my shoes, and so is my life expectancy! I hope you stay in business for at least that length of time...which at this rate could be long!

I did a lot of research for some more stylish walking shoes for my travels. These shoes appear to be what I want. Now mind you, I haven't done my usual Europe trips with them yet but I have worn them for some longer walks on paved roads. I ordered the stone (beige) shoes in a 8 1/2 W. I like to wear wides for long walking days to allow movement with a wide toe box. I am able to put my orthotics into these shoes. The color is pretty true in the photo. It is a dusty fawn color. The Width is good in appearance not looking like a big athletic shoe. The sole is firmer than my New Balance shoes which I think will give good support. They are pretty lightweight. Overall I am pleased with these shoes.

I’ve been trying to find a comfortable pair of “sneakers” with good arch support and a decent toe box for 6 months. I finally succeeded! These are so comfortable - and right out of the box - I wore them all day. I tried Sketchers, New Balance, etc. none fit the bill. If you’re still searching, I’d try these.

With lots of product reviews to help with decision-making and second-to-none shipping/return policy, ZAPPOS.com is the best online shopping site out there. I've purchased several pairs of the Saucony Progrid Integrity ST 2 shoes. Despite having spent much more for other shoes, these are the most comfortable shoes I've ever worn. Great code for those of us who spend long hours on our feet every day.

These arrived at my door just as I was about to go out for a walk. I tried them on and they felt very comfortable immediately so I took my 3 mile walk with no break-in period. They were totally comfortable! Now I wear them all day with no problem. There are so few shoes available in a wide width. That was the main reason I bought them but they offer much more - good support, good appearance, good price. Highly recommended.

I can wear a medium on the narrower side. Some mediums are too wide for me, But I wouldn't consider this medium a narrow either. I wear 9 and half and the size felt true to marked size.

Finding comfortable shoes is a challenge for me, as I have arthritis in my feet and other problems. I ordered one size up for my orthotics, and the fit is great. For me, the roomy toe area was most important. I was able to wear the shoes all day the first day I put them on. I've never ordered shoes online before, but decided to give it a try and I'm glad I did. I wish they were a little more feminine looking, but comfort comes first.
