I am pretty satisfied with these boots. First the leather is co comfortable and I had absolutely no blisters. I've done some major walking in these boots and my feet only barely hurt at the end of the day, so I recommend getting insoles. The laces are great, support my feet well. I am a size 7.5/8 in heels and at first I got a size 8 boot but it was too small in the front. So I got the 8.5 and they are just the right fit! The only downside is that they scuff up real easily.

These boots are great! I've worn them a few times now and they are so versatile. You can wear them as shown or folded over. I get compliments all the time, even from guys!

Nice boots. I was worried about what size to order but ended up getting my regular size and they fit just fine. They would probably be great with skinny jeans but I have no problem fitting my straight legs in. I can't wait to wear them.

I bought these boots for my daughter. I actually also ordered a similar, but more expensive, brand so that she would have a choice. She preferred the Steve Madden Troopa, and the other pair went back.

Cute boots! I own these in brown and black I like that they are not so wide at the top and the laces make it easy to style a little different if you want. I have mega skinny legs - 110, 5'4. Highly recommend if you are thin in the calf. These boots look great with dresses and skirts. My daughter wears them with leggings and shorts really cute. Not made to last forever like Frye but you will constantly grab these cute little boots often! Perfect height on the heel and boot shaft. Order a 1/2 size bigger than usual for room in the toe area. Zappos, I love you!

The boots are light and comfy to walk in. Obviously if you loosen the shoe ties they'll fit perfect. (The left boot was too tight before I realized that was the problem.)

I have been looking for these shoes for months now, but couldn't find any that weren't too combat-like or that were made of real leather. I finally found these and fell in love. I can't wait to wear these more in the fall!

At first I had ordered these boots in a size 8.5 Cognac...and they wound up being way too narrow for my feet to the point where it was very uncomfortable. So I returned them and I talked to a Zappos associate because there was a pricing difference issue, and they were so helpful. I got my boots today (just 18 hours after my order was shipped) and I wound up going up to a 9.5 Tan because Cognac was no longer available. These boots, though they need to be broken in a bit, are very comfortable. Sizing up helped the narrowness issue, and I'm so excited to wear them forever! Love Zappos! So impressed with them.

I love these boots. Very trendy and versatile. They were a little on the narrow side, but other than that, I'm so glad I bought them!

Order a size up! I'm always a 5 or 5.5 at most but I ordered a six and they fit perfect. The only issue I have is that the metal parts don't have a back so I have to put them back in occasionally but besides that I love them. I've gotten a bunch of compliments on them and I can even wear them in the summer and with any outfit.

Zappos.com has to be my favorite website to order shoes from now. Saw these and had to get them. Love Steve Madden and I loved this combat boot style. Its trendy and really versatile. I put in the order and about an hour later got an e-mnail saying my shipping was upgraded for free and I would be getting them sooner which made my day because I wanted them before the weekend so I could wear them out. No regrets. Love these.

These are really cute boots, true to size, color, etc. They are comfy and look great with jeans, skirts, dresses. Love 'em.

My absolute favorite pair of boots. I wear it with skinny jeans and patterned tights. They're very durable and easy to clean, too! I walk two miles in them every day, and I find them pretty comfortable.

I'm usually a 9 in asics and other brands, occasionally I'm a 8.5. I need to return the 9s for 8.5. The brown is dark. I had grey one that I loved but wore out. I can't find more of those new so I got brown troopas and black troopa 2s. They look similar but the 2s are a little wider. The troopa 2 soles look hardier.

I bought these because I was looking for a true combat boots and finding them in my size is hard to come by. These are more of a English style lace up riding boot rather than a combat boot. They look to be very nice quality but we’re a little too stiff looking for my liking.

I bought these Steve Madden Troopa boots in a 6.5 in brown leather. They fit true to size and are a nice quality, real leather and well made, albeit a little flimsy. I've been wearing them regularly for the past few weeks and feel they have held up nicely to the elements of the Midwest, are very comfortable, and are extremely stylish when worn laced up or 'relaxed,' half laced with laces wrapped around and the boot length hanging loosely away from the calf. I'm excited to wear them through the seasons, a great multi wear boot.

Not an ideal boot if you have a high arch or a wide foot. Very stiff leather so I'm returning them instead of trying to break them in. Pressed on my instep and was a very tight fit for my foot type. Even though they didn't fit and I'm returning them, I was still impressed with the overall quality and style. I agree with other reviews that these would be great with any outfit, from dresses to pants. If you have narrow or flat feet, I'd suggest checking these out. Got another pair of Steve Madden boots (Candence) and they fit great. Thanks Zappos!

These run kind of small. I normally wear size 8 but got these in 8.5. They're a little big but definitely manageable and I didn't need to break them in which was a great plus. They didn't give me any blisters and were not painful. I was worried and skeptical about getting these because I read in a lot of reviews that the soles would fall off after only a couple wears, but I have had these for about four months now and I wear them almost every day and they are still fine!

These are awesome boots! They are very stylish and gets lots of compliments. They are great with tights and dresses.
