Bought these boots a month or so ago for work. I walk a lot on uneven terrain and in wet grass, so I needed something that would hold up to stress and that would be waterproof. So far these boots have delivered. I've worn them everyday at work and they've held up very well. They were comfortable even the first time I put them on and have only gotten better since they've been broken in. I have yet to test them in a very wet environment, but so far my feet have stayed dry. 10/10 would buy again.

I used to be strictly Red Wings until they started making them in China. If I was going to wear a non USA made boot them why pay the Red Wing price, right? Shopped around and found these. Softest and thickest leather of all I saw. The sole, the interior, the grommets, and even the dang laces are of higher quality that the Red Wings from back when they were from the USA. Best part is these were half the price of the Red Wing lineman boots I had previously used. They were so surprisingly good that I bought a second set 5 days later to hold back in reserve since they were on sale. Note: Order half size bigger than you ordinarily wear and get the wide version. None better, you will see.

I use these boots daily as a park ranger. The boots are an excellent value and Zappos has the best price that I have found.

I recently purchased these boots an fell in love with them as soon as I put them on. The insole was superior to any boot I have owned. All of my friends wear chips and highly recommend them. I decided to try them out and will not go back to my old boots. The shipping options were amazing. I really liked the tracking options with UPS. When they arrived I wasn't able to answer the door but the tracking told me that my boots were delivered and on the porch.

Love the boots and the service. On these boot they run about a 1/2 size smaller than the stated size. I wear a 8 and order a 8 1/2 and they fit perfect.

These are good work boots Order a half size up I ordered a size 10 and the boots were too small had to exchange them for a 10 1/2 they’re a much better fit now

Great boot. I'm on my feet all day so I need a boot that is comfortable. This is my second pair of Chippewa's.

I typically wear an 8.5 (Adidas, vans). But this boot I need a 9. And you typically wear thicker socks. The boot is nice, not particularly comfortable (sole is cheap) and I'd say it's not worth the price. At best less. What I don't get is why I can't rate these "Chippewa American Handcrafted GQ Tan Rodeo Boot", even thought I sent them back (so I'll write it here). I bought a pair at the same time in size 9. It was huge! So I sent them back for a size 8. Huge! Watch out for those ones. Basically I need a size 7 in them but I am so disappointed with having to return them twice that I am over them. Especially at that cost.

I have worn Chippewa apache loggers for many years. They were a true family own American business that stood behind their products. They even offered a boot rebuild program that I have used many times. I have had the same 2 pairs for 15-20 years that they rebuilt. Now that they don't rebuild boots anymore after being bought out by Justin Boots, I desperately needed replacements. I decided to pull the trigger and try these boots out, needless to say I'm very disappointed. First they're made in Vietnam, not USA. These are ok for someone that don't wear them 12-14 hours a day, the support in the foot bed is just not there. I am saddened to have to turn my back on Chippewa after 20+ years but I have no choice.

I’m on my 7th pair of Chippewa Apache Loggers over the years. I’ve always been a fan of the black, and they didn’t have my size in the Apache’s, so I decided to give these a try. There was a big seam at the bottom of the tongue, and it was overlapped so badly that it dug into the top of my foot when I put them on. Boots fit true to Chippewa size, but felt overall cheaper than ones I’ve had in the past. Writing this as I fill out the info to send them back.

If you have ever wondered what it feels like to wear high heels, but are afraid to raid your girl's closet, these are a great discrete alternative and come with a "contains cancer causing materials" warning label as a bonus. I ordered two pair the same size, one was far too narrow for my foot to even go in, the other was larger despite both being labeled as size 8W but the heels on both pairs were narrower than the foot bed and tend to make your ankle roll when you put weight on them as a result. I was a bit disappointed seeing as they are a good looking boot.

As soon as the boots arrived I tried them on with excitement. They fit pretty well, I ordered a half size up and wide and there were no issues. Went I went to the remove the tag I noticed a warning label "Warning, this product contains materials known to the State of California to cause cancer or reproductive toxicity". After reading the warning I packed up the boots and washed my hands. The boots are made in China and are toxic! Don't buy them. Shame on Chippewa for producing such a cheap product! I am returning them today. I am very disappointed...

Very displeased with this boot. Supposedly Chippewas are made in America. I recieved the boots today and the inner tongue says made overseas. Not paying this price for an overseas knock-off.
