These are definitely helpful inserted in ample sized shoes to help with effects of plantar fasciitis. They are large though so they won't fit in all shoes. They are also stiff, but they do the trick.

I found these inserts to be very hard and unforgiving. I had thought to put them inside of my shoes but since they have no give, there isn't room for my feet. All inserts I have purchased formerly were spongy but these were not.

I bought these because another reviewer recommended them for plantar fasciitis. They seem pretty well made. But they are definitely are for someone with high arches. Flat footed folks stay away. They were very uncomfortable for me.

These are so wide that they made my shoes bulge. Maybe because they are meant to fit both men's and women's shoes? I have had Spencos before and do not remember having this problem. They provide terrific arch support but I still had to send them back.

The item itself is fine although not what I expected. The description online read for low arch and sensitive feet. The description of the item that arrived read for arch support - medium to high arch. Zappos staff was very nice on the phone and I'm confident they will help resolve any issues. I may try another brand to see if they are more comfortable.

It didn't fit in my tennis shoes and was too stiff.

Did not work. Did not realize arch support was via a piece of metal.

The width of the woman's size 6/7 insert is much wider than my size 7 woman's foot The product appears to be designed more suitably for a man's foot. The unisex design does not work for this product. The plastic bedding of the product is not something you can simply trim to make narrower, with standard home scissors. Industrial scissors are needed to cut through the plastic. Poor design execution.

My podiatrist suggested I go to the shoe store and get a pair of these. I did, and they didn't help at all. I have high arches and my ankles still hurt just as much as before I bought these. Back to the drawing board....

It supports my arches which is desperately needed with my flat feet.

Very high arch support, almost hurt to walk at first, but then foot adapted. Really helped alleviate sore feet after ten hours on cement. Love the 3/4 length as gave arch support without stealing any room in toe box, which is a problem with safety boots that won't stretch because of the composite toe. Only drawback for me is the arch being slightly too far back, but still works. If need good arch support, try these (for free from Zappos) before spending four times as much for custom ones...if they fit, you win.

I've previously owned them, knew they worked well, so ordered a new pair. The fact that they are 3/4 length makes it very easy to remove and slip into a different pair of shoes, eliminating the need to have a separate inserts for each pair of shoes.

These orthotic insoles have been a life saver for my past problems with planter facetious! Been wearing these insoles for the past 10 years and still no heal pains!
