I have a higher arch so the straps feel quite tight and by the end of the day a bit uncomfortable. I am fairly certain they will stretch out a bit over time and then should be fine.

Very comfortable shoe. I usually wear a 10 in sandals. The 41 fit perfectly. I can wear M or N width and these were no problem for my feet. Unfortunately the brown color is not as pictured on my computer screen. I thought it was a cognac color and it is definitely a chocolate brown. These are going back.

Unlike others, I did not find that shoe runs small. In closed-toed shoes I always wear a 10B, but in open-toed, I prefer a 9.5, so as to not have an unnattractive amount of sole protruding in front. I tried this on in both a 10 and a 9.5. The size 10 shoe last was too large in the heel, and did a bit of sliding up and down, which would have produced blisters, or at best, simply been annoying. In addition, on the size 10 shoe, the interior cross straps had a bit of material where the elastic gives that was highly irritating to my ankle bone. This issue was not present in the size 9.5, which struck me as odd: by rights it should have been MORE uncomfortable, since the smaller size would naturally be stretched out more than the larger size. Other than those issues, I found the shoe attractive and reasonably comfortable, although as with most shoes these days, it could have used more padding in the sole. People lose "padding" in their feet as they age, rendering shoes that were fine when they were 25, far less comfortable twenty years later.

These are nice shoes. I found the straps over the upper part of my foot is tight. I think that's because I have high arches. Since the strap has elastic attaching them to the shoes and they are leather, they should stretch.

I bought the taupe-which I see is not on here. They are lovely. They are super comfy and stylish but the leather scratches really easily and the cross straps were too loose on me. I am normally an 8/8.5 so I bought a 39. While the length is perfect I find my self wishing the straps were tighter. My heel slips out of them occasionally when I walk in them. I'm not going to return them but I wish they were a little tighter. They look great with almost anything-skinnys, shorts, slacks and look cute with most of my dresses.

Could have been awesome: the leather straps and heel back on this shoe are so soft -- will try a size up. A 37 is typically perfect on my foot, and the footbed of this shoe in 37 was just right, but the criss-cross straps were so very tight that I couldn't walk comfortably; it felt like my tendons were grinding together! I do have high arches, and this is not a huge surprise, but I was expecting to at least make it across the room before having to remove them. Fingers crossed for the 38!

Wanted a silver(y) shoe or sandal - tried these in size 38 & 39 due to reviews saying they ran small. I usually take a 7-1/2 W in a shoe, 7W in a sandal, sometimes 8M depending on style. I need a lower heel (not flat), due to arthritis & bunion. These were fine (actually could not tell much of a difference between the two sizes I got). The 39 was a bit looser in the heel, I would have kept the 38 thinking the leather or elastic would stretch out. However, I am returning them because the color is not really silver - it is a darker greyish pewter. I have a pair of Clark Lucena sandals in the exact color as these - and they are pewter (dark metallic grey). So...these are going back, not silvery enough.

I purchased these sandals to take to Santiago and Buenos Aires in December, 2014. I wanted a sandal that was casual but not clunky, versatile and comfortable. I did not have an opportunity to "break in" the sandal. I'm happy to say that the first day I wore it for a 7-hour walking tour of Santiago, it was perfect. It looked nice with a casual skirt and sundress, it was comfortable all day long, and it was good for walking on cobble stone streets as well as up and down steps. I have not owned a pair of Eric Michael shoes in the past, but would definitely purchase another pair in hopes that anything else performed as nicely as this pair did.

These shoes run small but once I exchanged for a bigger size they are great. Very soft leather. The style if the sandal feels very secure around the feet making it a good choice for walking.

This shoe is absolutely tiny. My feet are wider than average as is, but I got this shoe in a 38 and I couldn't even fit my foot in. I think I'll have to order 2 sizes up.

I wear a 4.5 shoe and this shoe was advertized as such but on the box itself, the size was listed as a "35". I liked the shoe but need a true 4.5 size. If there is a smaller size than what I am returning, please send it to me, otherwise I wish to get my charge card credited. Thank you.

These were a little old fashioned in person and I thought the leather looked a bit different, too. But, I needed something comfortable for an outdoor event that was lasting 12 hours, so I was willing to give them a try. For me, who is usually a very tts medium width, these were very, very narrow and they ran a little short in length, too. I have fairly slender feet and straps aren't usually an issue for me (if anything, I often have an issue with them being loose around the instep area.) But, these were just squeezing my feet very tightly. They were very uncomfortable for a supposed comfort brand. If you have very narrow feet, they might work! Just be warned about the length issue.

I love these shoes and they are comfortable but the color is not what I expected. It has a brass tint to it that doesn’t match the outfits I wanted to wear them with. Disappointing-I really wanted them to work.

The leather top is buttery soft so I thought these would be so comfortable. The back part dug into my heel which made them difficult to wear

I own these sandals in two other colors, and another style by this maker as well. In general they've been extremely comfortable and have fit perfectly, but these felt as though the straps were stretched out, although I'm sure it was the way they were manufactured because there was no sign of anyone else having worn them. They were loose right out of the box, which means that they would soon be unwearably stretched because it's very soft leather.

I had a pair of Eric Michael Amanda sandals that I loved (bring back the leopard print, EM!), so I thought I would try these. The sandals I received were nothing like this photo (Netty Tan Suede). The foot bed was light nude and the straps were a cheap looking taupe leather. I still tried them on, and thy were very narrow and a tad bit long. I'm not going to try to get a replacement.

These could be very comfortable shoes, but the width was greater than my usual medium width. The straps were a little too wide for my personal preference.

I really wanted to love these shoes, because the style is exactly what I was looking for. But alas-- I could not wear them, as my right foot and ankle were being tortured! The stitching on the inside of where the elastic is sewn is too rough, and the lower strap that goes over the toes had the same issue for my little toe. The bad part is that none of this could be discerned until wearing them in real life. They felt great when I tried them on, but an hour later I couldn't wait to get hem off.

Just didn't look as good in person. Fit was actually a bit large. Length was fine, but no way to snug up the straps. Returning.
