These shoes are very comfortable. I'm on my feet 8 hours a day, walking on cement floors, and by the end of the day my feet don't hurt like in other shoes. Had to order a half size up. The first pair I ordered felt like an 8 instead of a 9. I like that it doesn't rock as much as a Skechers and of course Zappos did their always fantastic job of shipping. Had them in less then 24 hours.

New Balance delivers again! While these shoes are not the same as the original MBTs, they are quite comfortable and definitely have the rocking motion that MBTs offer. Zappos of course, did their usual superb job of shipping quickly. Rather than just answer the size/fit questions below, I will say that in New Balance, I wear a women's 11D. Most other shoes, I'm 10C. For NB, then, these fit great. Oh, and I wear an orthotic so I'm just going to answer "moderate arch support."

Needed good toner shoe for my orthotic insert that wasn't too wide. Wore these on a vacation and they were great.

I love the look of the shoe; it's not the excessively curved sole that many of the tone shoes have. They do run small, which is common with athletic shoes. I normally wear an 8 and it was too small. I exchanged it for an 8.5 and it is snugger than I like, but kept them. I believe a 9 would have been perfect.

I can't say this is my everyday shoe, but it's a great break from my conventional sneakers. It doesn't "exercise my glutes" and make me look toned, but they're comfortable and easy to wear and have a nice roll to the sole. Oddly there is no arch support in the shoe at all, but I find that I don't mind it because my foot is moving in a different way than usual. I had to order up a size as New Balance runs a little small. Keep that in mind. This is a brand I trust to give me quality and comfort. Overall, fabulous shoe.

Really comfortable shoe is different from running or regular athletic shoes. These work very well for walking and being on your feet all day. Do break into them gradually. If I had a job where I am on my feet all day these are all I would. They are that comfortable.

I never I thought I would find a shoe that did not bother my arthritic knees and lower back. If is wasn't for the slight pinching of my big toe on both feet, I would have gladly kept them. I believe that this was caused because the rocking motion causes your foot to slide forward. Nothing has been this comfortable as far as my painful knees. After a day on my feet on concrete surfaces, my knees did not bother me as usual. Perhaps I will try New Balance with out the Rock and Tone.

In the search for a good walking shoe I tried the NB WW1645 in a 7W because I have wide feet. My previous experience with NB wide width was literally painful so I was not enthusiastic, but the price was right for a leather shoe and the trendy rocker sole. I tried on the right shoe and was very impressed. Then I laced up the left shoe and my initial excitement waned. Even though my right foot is longer than my left the toe on the left shoe pressed into the top and side of my big toe making it extremely uncomfortable. All I can figure is that the pair is defective. My kids need shoes so I'm going to take my refund and put it towards shoes for them and forget about me for a while.

One of the reasons I decided on these shoes was because of the excellent reviews, especially the comments with regard to comfort. Therefore, I was surprised when I put the shoes on and they felt really uncomfortable--not so much that they were too small, but that something was wrong with the inside of the shoe. Upon feeling inside, I found that in the front of the shoe where the darker colored material is, the soft lining of the shoe ends and a rough material is sown on with heavy thread. That's what was rubbing my foot and causing the discomfort. I can't imagine why NB would do that. I've always found NB shoes to be top quality, but these were definitely not up to par. On the plus side, the shoes were nice looking and the brown and blue color scheme was attractive. The rocker bottom is not as exaggerated as some rocker shoes, but they still seemed to achieve the desired result (which is to make your legs and feet work a little harder). If it hadn't been for the rough inside finish, I would have kept the shoes.
