Nice to find a pair of jeans that doesn't give muffin top and accommodates curves. Many "curvy" jeans are low riders which look just silly on me and take away the comfort factor. These are great. Only thing is they do run bigger than the size charts state - I ordered a 20 instead of my regular 18 based on the charts and they are pretty loose around the waist. I washed and dried them hot and they didn't shrink at all like Levis did back in the day, and of course I can't return them now since I've worn them, but they are still a good pair of jeans for when I'm feeling bloaty and don't want things riding up/down funny like many jeans do. I am not a big fan of the pocket styling but this was the only style available in my size so I'm waitlisting for the other style now in a smaller size because these are the first pair of jeans that are flattering and don't have that "tight thigh" thing - they really respect that if you're curvy you probably don't have sticks for thighs. Will be hemming their length for sure as they almost hit the ground they are so long (and I'm 5'8").

These jeans are comfortable and the fit was fine. I ordered the short, but the jeans are still too long on me.

First off, I want to thank Zappos.com for being incredibly awesome! My order arrived surprisingly quickly and was very well packaged. The only problem was that the wrong size was sent. I went to the website went through the return process and before I could even get my original package returned, the replacement had arrived! The jeans are very comfortable and fit well in general. I can bend and squat without my underwear showing and both the thighs and waist fit, which is a huge issue since I am big in the thighs and small in the waist. They are stretchy so it's comfortable to sit in them and they move very well. The only issue is that, even with a short inseam, they are about 2" longer than I need them. But that's on Levi's not Zappos. They will be great with heels, but the next pair I buy (and I will be buying another pair) will definitely get altered.

Material is a little stiff, but not bad. I like the perfectly shaping by Levi's better than these for comfort.

This is a quality pair of jeans. They seem to run a little on the large size and at my height, 5'11, they needed an extra few inches on the bottom. I kept them, wear them, and love them still!

The fit was great. This is my second pair. The dark color is a little thicker material which is great for winter.

I love these jeans! They are true to fit...with a little help from other reviewers. A little big, but wonderful "comfort jeans." Make sure to read up on the sizing of these jeans and take the other reviewers' comments into consideration before ordering and you will be pleasantly surprised!

I had high hopes for these jeans, but they just don't work for me. The material is quite thick and heavy, so they are best suited for cold weather. They are dressy enough for work or a night out and long enough to wear heels. Even though they say "defined waist," I didn't find that to be true. They came far above my natural waist in the front, yet not high enough to cover my underwear in the back, and I still had the dreaded gap in the waistband in the back. It was like the measurement for the front rise of the pants was swapped with the back.

I have mixed feelings about these jeans. I have worn Levi's jeans for many years, and was quite pleased to see that the plus sized jeans are available in a defined waist cut. I ordered these jeans because I needed some jeans that fit fast. Zappos came through with overnight shipping, and Levi's came through with jeans that were comfortable, attractive, and well priced. While I was quite pleased with the fit of the waistline, the hips were a bit fuller than I would have liked, and they fit more loosely in the stomach area than I would have liked. In addition, the width of the cuffs was wider (more like bell bottoms) than I would have expected from boot cut jeans. I like the button pocket detail, but was disappointed that this was not available in other, darker, colors. I have worn these jeans several times, and have a few concerns. When I first put the jeans on, they fit reasonably well, however, during the day, they became looser and looser with wear - to the point where they felt and looked too big. I am hoping that they will shrink when I wash them in hot water. The fabric is thin, and has actually started to pill in the crotch area - something that I have never experienced with jeans, and would not have expected from Levi's. I am disappointed in the quality of the fabric, and given the pilling, I am guessing that these jeans will likely be less durable than most.

I love the 580 in a Short inseam, and will usually purchase it any time I come across a pair. It is not often you see the Short length, so I jumped at the chance to buy these. However, I was more than a little disappointed. They were a little tight in the waist, and the fabric was stiff. I kept them, but I was not happy.

These jeans fit (unlike the other styles) but I do not like the flap pocket. I am for the old style Levi's. I am not fond of the new cuts and pocket designs. The other styles did not fit because of the too small waist - and I am pear shaped!

These are very comfortable jeans and they looked great on for about a day or two and then started loosing shape. My biggest issue is that they look like "fat" jeans if that makes any sense. I am a size 18 , 5' 7" height and would have preferred a more form fitting and tailored look.. They are Ok as weekend / lounge around jeans.

I'm biased as clothes for large women look like clothes for large women, and I didn't feel any positives when I tried on the pants. The rise is very short on these pants; I spent a lot of time yanking down the back of the pants to avoid either off center or complete wedgie, but I also had pull them up as they kept slipping down too. Like the 512s and 590s, if you have a large stomach, it looks like you are all stomach! I had hoped for a pair of pants so that I didn't look like a giant yo yo in the middle of two strings; unfortunately these will be returned. (I had high hopes for a pair of jeans to replace my high waters so that I didn't look like a fat dork walking around France.) However, some women may like these jeans, and the waist was smaller so that I didn't have a gaping waistband (I can't understand why there would be giant gaudy pockets halfway down the back of the leg like a giant arrow to a big rear end area or whiskering across the front so that it looks like the wearer is too big for their pants!) I bought these in winding road, but wish I had bought another color with a lower cotton %. The material for this color is awful (99% cotton, 1% elastane) and really thin. The jeans stretch excessively and after a few hours they look like I've been wearing them for a week! They are too baggy and sloppy looking. I gave the style 3 stars because I love the cut of the jean but hate the material.
