If you get the "Regular" fit I would recommend getting 1 size down. If you get "Narrow" size 1 up. For reference I'm a 8 women's and a 39 Narrow fits best for me. I don't like the way regular looks it's too wide at the toe

Had to exchange because I was t positive what size I needed. The exchange was seamless! Love these!

My 12 yr-old loves Birkenstock shoes for casual wear and ease of use for changing at sports practices and games. Also, her foot runs a bit narrow at this age for adult shoes, so it is great she can adjust the buckles when she is barefoot in them. We are also fans of the molded plastic version in the summer for the pool and lake. The support is decent and certainly better than a flat sandal or flip-flop.

43 is just slightly, slightly small, but 44 is clearly too long. The ‘NARROW’ width is perfect. BUT, the cork bed is thin and unforgiving. This is very different from BIRKS that I’ve had

Great fit - just need to be broken in.

The material is hard. It is too narrow, but I have wide and feet and am hard to fit.

Material fine ....maybe because it was unisex the width & length felt bigger. more difficult to stay on my foot than usual.

Really happy with these. I was concerned about the "narrow" width indication but really the narrow is more of a normal width and the "regular" width was really wide. Glad I tried both to figure that out!

The bottoms have literally fallen apart! These definitely do NOT seem like real Birkenstocks which usually last pretty much for YEARS! I have to buy my daughter a new pair already- I am NOT happy!

All around great sandal in looks and comfort

They were for my nephew where he has a narrow foot they were perfect and made him very happy because of course you know it’s the style Birkenstocks with socks. Thank you for everything. You were wonderful to deal with.

I was hoping Birkenstocks would be a good option for my problem (bunions, arthritis) feet, but I guess I haven't really grasped the gestalt yet. Both this and another pair I tried, though in my usual size, were waay too big for me to assess much of anything else--except that the footbed seems to be really flat. I know Birkenstocks have a huge devoted fan following, so I probably just need to seek out a store for fitting, as some have suggested in reviews. Thanks, Zappos, for letting me give them a try.

My daughter's favorite summer shoes

This is my second pair of this exact shoe. They are my go-to year round (yes I wear them with socks).

Unfortunately I’m out $100 because I cannot wear these shoes. Size is correct but the width is way too wide. Disappointing!

Love these, had a pair in college that took me across Europe and then some. Now 30 years later, I’m back in my Birkis. Super comfortable. I think sizing runs large. I’m a solid 11 in Nike, a 10.5 in Polo Ralph Lauren, yet these are perfect in Euro 42.

the item thatt was shipped had part of the cork missing near the toe box. I don't think it should have passed an inspection.

The fit is perfect. I’m a size 6 women’s and received a 36. Comfort like none other.

The shoe bed is extremely hard, like walking on a rocky surface, which obviously was uncomfortable. This is extremely unfortunate as the fit of the sandal was perfect.

Birkenstock narrows are perfect for my feet.
