Meh. I preferred the leather over Birkibuc which as a plastic feel. If you’re concerned about animal products, though, would probably consider the vegan shoes as these still have suede insoles. Unfortunately, these are neither here nor there and are really quite up to snuff for either. If you just want to reduce animal products, maybe. But I can’t find enough information about the whole manufacturing process or supply chain for this vinyl, so it’s not at all clear that these are better for the environment or animal welfare.

I purchased these shoes for my daughter and they are great. She loves the style and the fit. She wears a size 11 in women's shoes and these were great. She loves the color and the overall feel of the shoe. How can you go wrong with Birkenstocks?

I bought these for a guy that has flat feet, one foot is negative flat. He had tossed his original Birks after about 10 years of use, only inside use like slippers. His right calf and ankle has been swollen off and on for almost a year. Dr's. think it may be due to an injury decades ago. As soon as he put on his new Birks, he said "Oh yeah, this is great." Also got compression socks and with the two his ankle/calf have been much better, not nearly as swollen. I know many flat footed people think Birks are not for you, but you may be wrong. Try them. These have been pure delight for his feet. I told him to try a pair of clog like Birks, to wear outside of the home when not working. I think his feet would be pleased if he wore Birks as often as he can. He has size 12 wide flat feet and got the size 45.

comfy but clunky

I have pretty wide feet so i always end up getting at least a half size bigger than what i need but these sandals are wide and adjustable so i could have ordered a smaller size. Overall i love them, they came quick and are great quality.

This is an awesome shoe. Birks have gotten so popular I decided to get a pair, and of course buying them from zappos makes the process easier! I did get a men’s 10 (which is what I usually wear for shoe) and was way too big, but Zappos hit me up with a pair of men’s 9-9.5 and they fit awesome and came in 24 hours! Totally recommend and look super cool with pretty much everything!

Fit was true to size. Very comfortable shoes for casual wear and also walking around for extended periods of time. The shoes have held up well and I am very pleased with these sandals!

I ordered 3 sizes to ensure the right fit. I am a normal size 10 in womens. I ordered 10-10.5 regular and they felt too lose. Even when I buckled them snug it was not snug enough, they felt like they were slipping. Then I ordered a 9-9.5 and my pinky toes would hit the tip when I walked. Then I ordered a 10-10.5 narrow. These were perfect. They fit like a hug. No slipping no pinching. The regular is wider than normal so if you have normal feet, go with the narrow.

They felt slightly large on me and wider than I would like...I am normally I size 8. I ordered the 8-8.5 size narrow. Will try to exchange for 7-7.5. Hopefully that will work!

My first Birkenstocks and LOVE LOVE LOVE them!! I read all reviews and bought the Arizona (little softer feel) in Narrow and so glad I did. They fit like a glove--so good. I wish I could wear them to work, as I would every day. I usually wear a 10 M; but the narrow was perfect as was the 10-10.5 in Unisex. I am so happy I got the real deal!

For a person with flat feet, this is the perfect shoe to help give you some arch support. I LOVE the color, too! I know the price might be a little high, but this is honestly the best splurge if you are looking for a durable, slip-on and go, and supportive sandal.

Love these sandals, with one major downer: I ordered these thinking they were vegetarian/vegan friendly (no animal skin) and the footbed is suede rather than just cork. This is a major disappointment, since the Birkibuc material is super comf and looks really nice (not cheap or tacky like many faux leather/suede materials) and Birkenstock is one of the few shoes that work well for my wonky feet/arches. Fit is great, sandal is great– Birkenstock PLEASE make vegan Birkibuc shoes (and more vegan shoe options, in general)!! You’d sweep the market for folks looking for great options for well-made, really nice, high quality cruelty-free shoes!

My husband loves these Birkenstocks! I had originally purchased him a different size but we returned and purchased these. He loves the way they fit and feel.
