I purchased the Ella Tote to use as a gym bag, and I love it. It's very sturdy, well-crafted and has great organizational pockets and compartments. The bag is large enough for gym shoes, a change of clothes as well as a complete stock of toiletries. I love the sturdy double straps that are long enough to wear over a winter coat. My only complaint is that the zipper is backwards in my opinion, for safety reasons. If you carry the bag with the logo facing outwards the zipper opens up to the back of you. The easy fix is to turn the bag around, but it seems to be designed to wear with the logo facing outwards. I still love the bag and Zappos.

This tote is awesome. I love the water bottle holder and the several pockets. Now I do not have to worry about my paperwork getting wet from my water bottle leaking anymore! I love it and totally recommend it.

This is a sturdy tote, particularly good for traveling or commuting to work. Its not too large and very comfortable to carry. The straps are long enough to wear with a coat, and the side pocket for a water bottle is extremely convenient. I have tried many different tote bags for work, and this is my favorite so far!

We ordered this tote for our daughter for Christmas and she loves it! It is her favorite color,plus she wanted a tote with a place for a water bottle on the outside. She also likes the zipper on top so if it is raining or snowing the contents remain dry. This is a durable bag and is used every day. Zappos has great customer service, it arrived right on time.

This is the best tote. I spilled coffee and it was so easy to clean. I love this tote!

I love this bag! It's sturdy, lightweight and easy to wipe clean. I use this bag for my nursing supplies, and it is perfect with plenty of room and many compartments. I am a petite person, and the strap is a nice length for my short torso.

I love this bag! Got it for school fits binders folders everything. The mesh water holder isn't white though its black.

I like this tote very much. My favorite part is the huge inside. I used this bag for school, and I kept everything safe!

It is a spacious bag but when I put my books in it it becomes heavy. I can't really put much without it becoming heavy.

Perfect!!! This is the exact bag I wanted! I tried ordering it twice from another website and they had the same picture up, but they sent me a different bag. I really wanted the water bottle holder since I am a college student and I don't want my computer to get ruined by having a water bottle inside my bag. As I said this bag is perfect and is exactly what you expect from the picture and the description! I'm excited and happy with this purchase and I will order from here again in the future!

I use this bag for work. I am a teacher so I fill the bag with lots of paper, folders, and binders. It is very comfortable and has a lot of additional pockets. It can also be used for the gym or the beach. I am going to use it to travel soon. It is a great bag!

I've been very happy with this tote! It's larger than I hoped (I wanted something a little smaller for carrying things to and from work), but I saw someone elses comment about it working great for a gym bag because of the inside and outside pockets, a place for the water bottle, etc. That's what I also use it for and it's great!

This Ella tote is the best! You can fit a mac computer in the sleeve and still have a ton of room to fit other things. Very durable and comfortable. Big enough to fit a lot of things but not bulky at all. Very comfortable on your shoulder. Buy it, you'll love it! Very good find. Thanks Zappos, you guys got it to me the next day. Best service!

Better looking in person than the picture. It appears very durable, although I haven't used it yet. Plus Jansport brand offers lifetime warranty! Very happy with this bag and purchase. I'm going to use it for an overnight bag or weekend bag for quick trips.

Overall, for the price this is a useful and roomy tote with a separate compartment for an ipad/tablet or 13 inch notebook, however, the compartment does not have extra padding. The online description says it has a 15 inch laptop sleeve, however, the tag attached to the bag says 13 inch. I have an iPad with a cover and I'm not too sure that a 15 inch laptop would fit comfortably. I needed a tote for work that had an outside pocket for water or thermos and this fit the bill. Another reviewer mentioned that the mesh water bottle pocket is black, not white as in the pictures, which was also the case for the bag that came with my order. I actually prefer that it is all black. I'm looking forward to using this although I think it looks big on me. The material and construction does not seem to be as durable as a Timbuk2 messenger bag that I have. Overall, however, it seems well constructed for the price, is lightweight, and meets my needs.

This bag is not a bag for a netbook. The netbook divider is very flimsy and is not secure for your netbook; and you can't fit it in there if it's in a case. The handles barely have any padding on them, which is not good if you are trying to stuff the crap out of this bag. I think if they are going to go flimsy on the padding for the handles that this bag needs a strap. The water bottle holder is nice. I think this bag could use two of them actually. I got 2 big textbooks in, a stuffed folder and a 5 subject notebook in (barely) along with my netbook, as well as my wallet and other things from my purse like my glasses case, keys, etc. This is not a good bag if you really have a lot to carry, so if you are a college student like me with a lot of books, this is not for you. If you are just going to one or two classes though with a notebook and a folder then this is for you. I am keeping this bag for occasions where I do not need a lot so I do not have to take my purse with me too. This is not a great tote for a netbook. If you truly want a netbook tote do not go for this one. If you do not want it for that purpose then go for this one. All in all, I do like Jansport. I have a backpack from them that has lasted me since high school and all through college. They are still a good company despite some minor changes that need to be made to this tote. Zappos had delivered this bag to me with the estimated delivery in secure packaging. No complaints Zappos. I will buy from Zappos again for their good service.

Love this bag! My big Dell laptop fits in it perfectly! I work in a meat market and take extra clothes and sweaters to work. Everything fits in it! It's the perfect traveling bag. Especially when you have little ones or a husband who carries just as much as you do!

Beautiful bag. Very roomy, has plenty of space. My only problem with it was that in the photo, it was baby blue. When I got the package, the color was more seafoam green than baby blue and I just couldn't get myself to like it. Aside from the color, it's a wonderful bag.
