My only upset about this mat is that it arrived with a flaw on the back side- a strange small black tear. I didn't have time to deal with the return, and I had bought it on the anniversary sale, so i didn't know if they would honor the price on an exchange. I now wish I had dealt with it, because the flaw is becoming bigger. Otherwise, I love this mat. The color is a cranberry-red.

I bought this to replace an old yoga mat -- I think this mat will last me awhile. I really like how it allows for smoother transition from forward facing dog to downward facing dog (I don't really need to step forward to set up the length between hands and feet the way I find comfortable). The one thing I don't like so much is that the grip isn't as good as my old mat, but I wouldn't say it's slippery per se. Right now, I'm using a yoga mat hand towel at the front of my mat, but I have an old Manduka travel mat that I may cut to cover the top third of my yoga mat for better grip. It's not so much of an issue for the back foot when practicing.

Bought it a month ago. Great for stability, even too much with yoga socks :) With downward facing dog pose hands can be slippery. I use a different and thicker mat for yin yoga

I've used this mat several times and there are some parts where I slip still. I think that's the only downside it's not ready for action out of the box. The the sections of the mat that feel more broken in feel great though!

I've been using this mat for over a month. It took several uses for the mat to get "sticky" despite following the instructions, but overall it's a good mat - good thickness and stickiness, light enough to travel between the studio and home.

I bought this mat online about a month ago after looking at several eco-made brand yoga mats. I chose this particular mat because of the density that would support my joints. I also particularly enjoy the life time guarantee. Online it said the stickiness of the mat was good, when I first used the mat every time I was in downward dog my hands and feet would slip a lot. I started doing yoga with socks and that helped my feet not slip. I practice an hour everyday and I really enjoy the quality of this mat. After a month of use my hands don't slip as bad but they still slip. I chose this mat for several reasons including the thickness, it's lifetime guarantee, and that it was manufactured eco-friendly.

This mat is nice. It's a little slippery when your hands start to sweat. Otherwise nice mat. My feet never slip but my hands will slip sitting down dog.

Love this mat, I have the Manduka pro and the pro light, I love this mat for travel, it's durable, lightweight and I don't slide! I recommended this mat to all of my students!

I'm really happy with my purchase. I must say that this mat is very heavy, and it's not so grippy as I thought it will be. But I've read that I need to beak it and then the grip will be better.

I just got my PROlite about a week ago, but I already love it. It's so cushiony and light weight with all the durability and characteristics of the PRO. The only thing I would change is having it available in maroon or sage green!

Purchased a Pro Yoga Mat a couple of years ago and wanted an additional mat. I am very satisfied so far. It's lighter and appears to be very durable.

I bought the mat 2 week ago. The mat is really comfortable and gives enough support for my back and kneed when I'm using it. I'm still "working in" the mat, so when my hands get sweaty I'm more busy with not slipping away instead of yoga. I hope it will get better.

I find that the PROlite Yoga mat is super light weight making it easy to carry to and from studios, love the color options and its grip. Note that if you have an original/thicker Manduka mat, the grip may not be the same if using this mat for hot yoga, if you sweat a lot. I love this mat and might buy a second.

I was super excited yo get muy manduka yoga mar, but when i was first tried It, It was slippery , so i read the reviews on Amazon about the same product and apparently the mat comes with a special coating that you can wash off . It' s now non slippery as expected so very happy with muy purchase.

I have recently purchase the Manduka Prolite Mat and used it a few times. Overall, it is a very good mat, only problem: it's slippery. At first it was very slippery so I tried the salt scrub, it got a bit better but still slippery. I hope it will get better with use.

Bought as a gift for a yogi friend who loves the prolite especially in this colour, lovely and vibrant for an energising yoga practice. It has been super grippy from the start, so no complaints and hope it lasts a lifetime!

I'm excited this has a "lifetime" guarantee. I salted it before using it and have been using it for a few weeks now but it still feels slippery on my hands.

I bought this mat after much research on styles and brands. I have a latex allergy so natural rubber was not an option. I do like the mat but it is a little slippery for the hot classes. I also purchased a towel so no slipping.

I brought this a month ago as a birthday gift for me haha. Its my first professional mat (my previews mats where from ross or tj max so now that i practicing more i wanted something better) i did my research and i found this one had the best raitings, so i went for it. Until now its cool but the reason im not giving 5 stars is because its a little bit slipperi, when im in downward facing dog i can feel my hands slippering and i dont like that, the good thing is that with my mat i got a free manduka towel and i place it at the top of my mat to dont slip... i read the imstruction and i did the thing with the salt to see if get better but i still feel the sliping.... however this mat its like 5836 better than my old mats so im prety happy with it.
