Mat very sticky

A perfect yoga mat

I love my yoga mat. I feel very solid and supported when practicing on it. My only regret is that I didnt buy one years ago. Highly recommended.

PERFECT COLOR, NICE FEELING, PERFECT QUALITY

I've been using a Pro mat for 10+ years and decided to try the slimmer version for taking to classes - great decision! Even on hardwood floors this mat has a ton of support. Been using it for almost a year now and no signs of wear/tear.

Unfortunately, I bought this mat as a gift for my sister but she will be returning it. Manduka has changed the formulation and it was too slippery. My sister felt she would slip and fall when using the mat. Very disappointed.

Super firm, comfortable mat, even on hardwood floors. The wearing in takes a while but you can do salt to speed it up. Love it!

It is not too heavy to carry around to classes. It provides good cushion for the knees and good grip for inversion practice. I also love the colour. It is a perfect mat for yoga practice! :-)

The color is really nice and it provides good cushioning for the knees. But it is surprisingly very slippery. I did the recommendation with the salt in order to break it and since I got it I practise every day (20 days ago or so), and it feels as if I just bought it. When my feet sweat a bit, there is no traction at all and in downward facing dog my hands continuously slip.

It was slippery at the beggining, but now after almost a year of regular use it's starting to be grippy and my love for it grows everytime more&more.

The mat had a bit of slip to it until I gave it the salt treatment, after which it has been a delight.

It has been about a week since I got my first manduka mat. Until now i was practicing yoga and fitness workouts daily on a jade harmony mat (the long one) since the beginning of 2020. I must say that the grip of jade harmony is incomparable. But after 3 years of hard practice on it it has started to disintegrate... So I decided to change material and go for the manduka prolite, which, as they say is characterized mainly for durability and long-lasting quality and secondly for the good grip. Although it is too early for me to judge about the grip, right now it is sliding, especially in down dog, but I'm noticing that it gets better every day. I also bought a yogitoes towel which is certainly useful for the sweaty summer sessions and really does what it says! In fact I do enjoy some small sliding in certain transitions and of course when doing the splits a bit of sliding is welcomed. I really love the feeling of the manduka prolite mat, I love the yellow color, I got it in a discounted price and I am very satisfied with my purchase.! So yes I recommend it, definitely, and I'm sure it will get grippier sooner or later, turning out to be the perfect purchase!!!

Manduka mats are the best yoga mats I have ever used. I used to have to buy a new mat every year. Since my purchase of a Manduka mat, I have not. I bought a 2nd mat to keep at a vacation house so I can practice when out of town.

Great mat! Love the grip.

This mat was simply true love at the first sight (and step). What a difference honestly it is beyond my expectations. My yoga teacher recommended Manduka and Im amazed how much of a difference it makes to practice on this mat. I have chosen to break it in with everyday use ;) but actually it gives me great grip from day one. Note that this might be different for every person. Im practicing astanga yoga and have an going training to become a yoga instructor.

Nice color, high quality

Good mat. My only complaint is my hands slip on poses like downward dog if the room is a little warm. Cant get traction! My old much less expensive mat gave better grip.
