Great mat! I've actually got 3 Manduka mats and this was a gift for my boyfriend

I bought this three weeks ago, and I'm so happy. It could be expensive for a mat, but the quality of material is excellence, and its grip is perfect for Ashtanga; moreover Manduka give you a life garantee for it, and this is sounds more like investment than payment.
Its light weight is a plus for me, because allow you to transport it easy.
At the end, I recommend it to everyone who wants a great product.

The Prolite is great mat. No slipping. Even though it is a bit narrower then the Pro it is still adequate for my practice. I would not hesitate to recommend this mate.

Four months ago I committed to increasing my yoga practice to three times a week. I was still using that beginner mat purchased at a discount retailer. It was a bit thicker which I thought would support my knees best. Lately it had begun to slip a bit so it was time to upgrade my mat too. I was a bit worried it would be too thin but all the ladies my age (let's call it mature) in my class had similar so I thought it would work for me too. Not only is the color joyful but it does not slip and I feel very comfortable on a thinner mat. I am a satisfied owner of Mandela!

I have a variety of Manduka yoga mats for travel and studio uses. The PROlite does it all! It's roomy, lightweight, has a comfortable yet solid feel under my feet and arm balances, and is sticky enough for me to feel secure stepping out into Warrior or lunge poses. I pair this with a Yogitoe for sweaty, hot yoga practices. I grabbed this mat in the Espresso color. It has an amazing golden sheen with muted black undertones. Super happy with my purchase!

I bought this mat because my former mat was wearing out. This mat is very good one with very good grip, doesn't curl up and easy to clean. I'm really happy with it!

I previously had a Manduka Eko Mat and was a little nervous to leave behind it's incredible squish, but the Prolite is equally amazing. Great grip, comfort, and I love the extra space on the mat. I'll be taking mine with me on 200 YTT to Bali, and am really glad I went with a lighter mat for travel purposes. Thanks as always for the quality product Manduka!

I loved the color of this mat and the feel!! However, it seemed too small for me, so I returned it for the Pro and I am very happy now. I simply like the extra thickness and size of the Pro. I only wish they had made this color in the Pro. I have the "Forever" color in the Pro and it is nice, but I liked this color much better. I highly recommend this mat for someone who wants smaller size and less weight!

I have been a yoga teacher for 30 years. I discovered Manduka 15 years ago and never looked back. So when I buy.. it's for my classes, students and studio. Other times it's for myself. I have a big selection

I'd been wanting a Manduka Pro mat ever since I tried one on a yoga retreat in Costa Rica. The PROlite is perfect. Light enough to take anywhere but enough cushion to make you feel as though you are on the standard version. This is my favorite so far!

First and foremost, this pro lite took a solid month of 3x a week (non heated vinyasa) practice to really dial it in. I did the salt scrub and admittedly hated this mat for the first couple weeks. I was also too broke to get a different mat. I was coming from a beginner higher mugger mat so my standards weren't very high, but those first weeks did not seem to surpass my expectations.
I've had my mat for a couple months now and it has changed my life/ practice. My head stands have never felt so stable while at the same time offering protection for when I may topple over. Cleaning it with mat wash keeps the foot markings away but the smell does not remain which is not a big deal.
Over all I love this mat and I will use it until one of us taps out.

I've used my new mat only a handful of times so far, and I love it. I decided not to do the salt treatment because I don't sweat a lot, and I haven't had much issue with grip (but that could be because I don't sweat a lot). The larkspur color is beautiful. At a petite 5'3", the standard size and lighter weight work well for me.

It's been a few weeks since I received my Manduka Prolite and I have fallen in love with it...
At first, it was quite slippery, but after a few weeks and a few break-in attempts, it has turned into the best mat I've had so far. I can literally feel it adjusting to my own needs and sticking to my skin. Amazing!!

I love this mat. As a yoga instructor, I need a reliable mat that I can carry easily. This is excellent. It takes a beating and lasts without showing any signs of wear. I highly recommend it!

I have used this mat in hot, vinyasa and yin yoga. It is sticky - no slipping, and it provides really good cushion. I did not salt it and it was great from the first use. Paired it with a towel for hot yoga, which was perfect!

I bought this mat almost one month ago now and love it. Everything from the bright blue color, to the non slip surface and the overall high quality features of this mat. Couldn't be happier.

I'm using my new yoga mat - Manduka Pro Lite - now for one month on a daily basis at home for vinyasa, hatha, yin and HIIT exercises. I'm very satisfied with the decision I made due to the fact that I have never practiced yoga on the well known yoga mats before.
During the decision making process I was looking for the quality and durable mat that goes along with reasonable price, and it is easy to clean (since we have a dog at home and you can not survey all the hairs dancing around). Manduka was from the beginning of my search among the top choices. The only relevant unfavorable comment for Manduka yoga mats that was appearing across was the sliding off and pre-treatment procedure. I decided to put it aside due to the rational reflection. There is as well "break in process" with equipment in other sports, for example like in diving - especially with wet suit. So this "break in process" is therefore not something unusual. And especially if you are looking for quality and durability.
Well so far there was no need for any kind of pre-treatment procedure because the grip is just excellent and there is no sliding off the mat all and the cushioning is great as well (I have a standard size mat).
I would just like to point out one more thing that is not of a "technical matter" regarding this mat and this is that it was made in Europe. Therefor is was not shipped over from another continent to meet my needs, which is so common these days even for the companies that claim to be sustainable.
