I love these boots. I've been looking for just the right boots to wear with summer dresses and jeans. I'm almost 40, and I've been looking a long time. My husband bought these for me, and I could not be happier. The fit is perfect, and the design is just absolutely gorgeous. I get tons of compliments on them. Wonderful, wonderful boots.

I am a true size 10 & 1/2, so I ordered the 11 thinking that I was a half size in between so I needed to order up. They are a half of a size larger than they are. I had to reorder the size 10 and they are simply beautiful! They are total comfort right out of the box. The toe box isn't to narrow and the embroidery is beautiful. I say go for it ladies, totally worth the cost.

I have 10 Lucchese boots. This is my first Old Gringo. As for the quality, not even close to Lucchese. These are very heavy. The shaft is small. I happened to have skinny legs, so no problem. To me, these are kind of wide in width and definitely run 1/2 size larger. Need to wear these at home to see if I want to keep them. If you have never own Lucchese, you might think these are well made. They are better made than many other western boots though, but that does not mean much.

Love these boots. A little tight at the toe, but I have wide feet and they will be OK when they loosen up a bit. But love the boots. Wish they had leather soles.

Bonnie is a very feminine boot. The flower stitching coordinates with many different colors and the base leather, a dark bark brown is very neutral. It disappears against dark or lighter jeans and skirts. One reviewer liked the fact that the pulls are sewn on the inside of the shaft so they do not show. This is the problem for me - they rub my calves mercilessly and I had to recognize that this is a problem that will not go away over time. This is in addition to the fact that Old Gringo finishes the shaft of their boots with the leather seams folded on the inside. This combination is very bulky and causes way too much friction. I will have to return the boots for this reason. They probably work just fine for someone with slender calves.

These are my third pair of Old Gringos. They are beautiful, with the rusty orange and blue embroidery on distressed brown leather, and lots of detail on the toe and the shaft, but they are least comfortable pair of OG's that I have worn yet. It took a lot of stretching to get them to break in and I can only wear thin socks with them. But after a slow break in period, I do love them. They are just not ever going to be my "go to" Gringos, that I can walk forever in. They are really narrow in the shaft. I do not have wide feet or large calves so I imagine this boot would not fit a lot of people, skinny jeans barely fit in. The leather scuffs off easily on the toe as well, so not as 'tough' as my regular old G's which can go anywhere, do anything with no worry. These are the pretty, only wear for a while kind of boot. Still nice, just not my favorite OG.

For me these ran long and wide. I believe my foot is average though I have a low arch. I take a 7-71/2 in a boot and ordered these in a 7. I would have had to go down to a 61/2. I found the same thing in Tecovas, but do not find this in Lucchese which runs true to size for me. Sizing aside, although I love how appreciated these boots are by most reviewers, for me the worn in look did not justify the price. I just didn’t love them. They are super light on your foot and well made though, so big kudos for that! If this is your style then they are a really nice boot.

Super cute but the calves were to tight so they fit weird. If they had only been a little bigger this would have been perfect.
