Love, love, love these shoes! I always buy Running shoes even though I only power-walk and go hiking. These are the best combination walking/hiking shoes I've ever owned! A bit stiff and snug at first, but after a couple wearings they're perfect! I have super high arches and a medium to wide footbed so ordered 1/2 size up. Now I'm faster with a real extra 'spring in my step' and have no more calf or foot pain! Went hiking and had no slippage or sliding on a real slippery terrain. I'm very happy! Thank you Zappos!

As a nurse I'm always on my feet. Bought this shoes to find a comfortable pair to be on my feet for 8 hours, they are very comfortable, a little bit stiff but after wearing them got used to it. I got the gray and pink color, like the gray because it covers up the dirt. Happy with the shoes and very happy with Zappos shipping.

Second pair of Asics Gel, very comfortable from the first time I put them on. Tried other brands, and keep coming back to Asics!

Just go up half a size and these should fit perfectly. Otherwise these are great supportive shoes, without being rigid. I love the color of the one I bought, it is not white! Additionally I love Zappos. They are a fantastic company, other companies should use them as a model for customer service!

Excellent athletic shoes. Excellent support, great in you are prone to shin splints. These shoes cushion impact every step of the way.

Love these shoes - perfect for tough trail running & hiking - stiff but light. Trained & finished the grueling 17-mile Imogene Pass (Colorado) race over 13,100-ft summit in them last Saturday - my feet were not sore in the least, no blisters or hot spots. I wear custom orthotics, so can't comment on the arch support.

Asics are the best shoes I've ever worn; I now have 5 pair of them. I first got them because a friend told me about them and I've tried but never have found any shoes that do better for me. I am 71 with multiple sclerosis, but I am athletic, i.e., a runner some of the time, always a walker daily. I also have arthritic toes that cross each other and very high arches. With these shoes I can stand a long time without a problem. I had back fusion and my P.T. told me to get the most comfortable shoes I could find. They are Asics! The "gel" is the difference.

I have a torn meniscus and this shoe gives me the support I need to walk for exercise. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable.

Bought these shoes because I know that Asics prevent my pronation and I was right. They are great. Super comfy and they feel like you are walking/running on air.

I love the high ankle on these shoes for the added support. Very cushy - great on trails. Also good on concrete/asphalt for those occasional road races. I added my own orthotics/arch support.

Could not be happier with this purchase! Very comfortable and the look I was wanting. I must applaud Zappos on their customer service as well. I received these shoes in less than 24 hours, without paying for shipping. I don't know any other company/website that offers that service. I will definitely be shopping at Zappos more often!

Great shoe! I had to give up my Mizunos after they became too expensive for our family. I typically supinate with relatively high arches and I have a wide ball and narrow heel. The toe box has plenty of space and my heel doesn't come up at all. Lots of cushion in the ball of the foot as well. They are bit heavy, but expected as a trail shoe. Great to have a shoe to go back to that is still nice looking, fitting and a little more budget friendly.

I stand on my feet all day, and these shoes really helped me get through the day. They are very comfortable. They also provide me with ankle support, and that is something that I really like.

I have had many Asics running shoes over the years, but this was my first trail running shoe experience. I ordered my usual size and received them with the usual lightening fast Zappos speed. I brought them on a trip out West to the Grand Canyon and Moab and they worked GREAT. No blisters, no rubbing and my feet felt fantastic. I wear them all the time now when I feel like I need more stability

These shoes were comfortable from the first wear. Good flexibility and support. Equally comfortable on pavement or on unpaved trails.

I love these shoes! Literally feels like I'm walking on air pillows! My feet and legs haven't hurt a day since I started wearing Asics! I love them!

I had to go up another half size from my normal running shoe size. They are just wide enough across the toe box. Like the gray and green.

I really love my new Asics. They are super comfortable. I also love Zappos, they have a great selection and I received my shoes amazingly fast.

These are extremely comfortable shoes. Lots of cushioning. I walk 3 - 5 miles a day and these shoes really absorb the shock of walking on pavement. Water resistance is okay. I walk across a couple of wet fields - by the second field, my toes are wet. If you want dry feet, go for the Gore-Tex Asics.

Pretty good shoe, though not as light and comfy as my GT-2160. I love those. Though these are fine, they feel a bit heavy. I can't define the difference; they just are not quite as comfortable as my running shoes. Maybe it's simply because these are trail shoes. Either way, not disappointed.

The shoe is comfortable on the sole of foot, but I do not like how high the sides come up on your ankle. It took a couple weeks to get used to this shoe and it caused some blisters on my ankles from rubbing when I ran. I will not be purchasing this style again.

Great inexpensive trail shoe! I run obstacle races and these have held up to the test. Very comfy and enough cushion for street or trail.
