I've got this shoe because like so many runners, I developed plantar fasciitis. After some therapy and weeks of no running, this shoe was perfect to help me get back to running. It's very comfortable, breathable and well cushioned, and after months and being back to my old mileage and training, I have not had any problems whatsoever again with p.f., I very strongly recommend this shoe if you have the same problem.

After suffering with Plantar Fasciitis for months I found these shoes. I have the 3060 and the 3070 because I wear them almost every day. They were the only shoe I could wear. They relieved the pain almost immediately. They are also a lightweight running shoe. I play tennis in them as well. I recommend them to anyone who is in pain for PF.

Having been diagnosed with plantar fasciitis and going through 10 pairs of sneakers in the past year, my mother gave me a pair when she got a size too big and now I am shopping for the same shoe. I have become an Ecco for life customer. 100% satisfied.

Great shoe. Very comfortable. Good support and cushioning for plantar fasciitis. Love the silver and blue ones, they look great as well as being functional.

I have been an avid runner for approximately 25 years. I have had significant problems with plantar fasciitis on and off for about 8 years. Recently it had been worsening again due to an increase in mileage. After reading the description of these shoes, I decided to take a chance. I am absolutely THRILLED with these shoes. I still have some pain while running. However, these are the BEST RUNNING SHOES I HAVE EVER HAD!! I love them!! I will continue to order these and my only fear is that sometime they will no longer be manufactured. THANKS for carrying these!

Will buy Ecco again. I ordered a 9 first and had to give them to my daughter; ordered a 10 and they are just great. No break in period at all. They hold your feet where they should be but without being stiff. I have an extra high instep, no problem with that.

I have never been a "sneaker person" since my feet are always so hot in them and they are not the most attractive shoes to wear, but now that I have plantar fasciitis I have not been able to wear any of my hundred pairs of shoes except these. I finally have become a sneaker person. They are the only shoe besides my Dansko clogs that don't aggravate my heel condition. I am finally getting some relief. Thank you Ecco.

Love them, they have saved my life. Fit great, stable walking for the first time in a long time. Have tried specially made inserts, shoes etc. with no luck. These shoes have a metal stabilizing bar on the sole that I believe will help if you have plantar fasciitis as I do. Will purchase another pair soon.

Review -
I bought this pair because the RX3040 were out of stock in my size. I like them at least as well. I had worn my 3040's to way past the point of being worn out. I haven't had problems with heel spurs etc. since I started wearing the ECCO's with orthotics in them.

This shoe is amazing!! I never have associated Ecco with an athletic shoe, so had it not been for the sales person at The Walking Store, I would never have thought to even look. I was looking for new Saucony's or New Balance, which so far have been my favorites, but I think that just changed! They run small; go up at least a half size. I normally wear a 9.5 with very thin socks, and these I had to buy a size larger. Arch support is better than most sneakers, but I bought a thin copper orthotic to insert instead of the insole it comes with. The heel cushioning is amazing, and just like in the description, the shoe actually propels you forward. It fits snug but not tight. It's not the greatest looking shoe perhaps, but it has none of the ugly, old fashioned Ecco styling, either. Great shoe! Buy at Zappos, they are great, too. When you order shoes from them online, the shoes appear on your door step as soon as you hit the "submit order" button.

Great Walking Shoe -
Normally I get a size 12, but really heard good things about this shoe, so wanted to try it. It was wonderful from the first day I wore it, I walk 5 miles, 5 days a week and have had no problems with it. Had to get thinner socks, but that didn't cause any problems either, do wish they would make larger sizes, and then it would be perfect.

Wonderful shoe.
The most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. Well worth the money. I have arthritis in my feet and I usually walk with a walker or cane. Since I bought these shoes, I don't have to use either one.

ECCO continues to perform -
I went to a search on my computer and typed in "walking shoe that is best for support." The first search showed this particular ECCO shoe. Due to doctor's orders, I had to begin walking 2 miles per day, and thus developed a problem with my left heel hurting when I walked. I needed something that would not only provide good support, but that would cushion the pounding that I was creating on my right heel. They are great. My heel does not hurt at all now that I am wearing this particular ECCO shoe.

Best running shoes!
I was having terrible ankle pain until I switched to these Ecco shoes. No longer do I have any pain. I would suggest these shoes for anyone who is having pain or just wants a good quality shoe. Plus I ordered them around 4PM one day and they were at my front door the next day around 1PM. Great service from Zappos!

GREAT shoe! I bought these to replace a 5-month old pair of Etonics (purchased locally) that literally fell apart. I have a neuroma on one foot and these shoes, along with inserts, allow me to walk as much as I like. They do run small as others have noted, so order a larger size. I ordinarily wear a 39 in European sizing, but I bought this in a 40 and they are perfect. I bought 2 pairs in 2 different colors and am keeping both in case the shoe is discontinued.

Light weight, comfortable, attractive shoe - Until I severely injured my ankle in a car accident months ago, I rarely wore gym shoes because I did not like the look, feel or weight of them. However, upon beginning physical therapy and learning to walk again, I have found the Ecco Performance RXP 3060 to offer the level of support needed to stabilize my ankle/bones and maximally assist me when walking. I would recommend these shoes to anyone. The fit and look are great. The price is reasonable. The support and comfort have won me over for life.

Nice running shoe...but not for my feet - I supinate, or underpronate, and have a fairly high arch. I tried this shoe in a 40M and found it too tight. Would be good for people who run more on the front part of the foot. I need more support for my heels. I usually wear a 9M sometimes even 9W. Ecco are great shoes, but this one was not for me and will go back.

Walking in comfort - The Ecco RXP 3060 is a blessing. I had surgery on my left foot in January 2001, bunion, cyst, big toe straightened. In March 2001, a half gallon of ice cream fell on my left foot and I had 2 stress fractures that did not heal correctly, so I had surgery in Nov 2001. I am in almost constant pain with my foot and have not been able to find shoes that would not 'break' at the big toe when I walk for exercise. I do have orthotic inserts that I use to relieve the pounding from walking. The RXP 3060 is GREAT! I have 2 pairs and another on order. I highly recommend this style. I have other styles of ECCO shoes and they are fantastic.

Ecco RXP 3060 -
I was diagnosed with plantar fasciitis. Another online store advertised this shoe as "perfect" for plantar fasciitis. I decided to try the shoe at Zappos.com due to free return postage. The first time I ordered my usual size and found that the shoe was too small. I exchanged it for one size larger. The exchange arrived next day and I was able to fit an orthotic in the shoe without removing the original that comes with the shoe. My foot does not hurt at all when I wear this shoe, and the shoe is very comfortable.

Good shoe for foot and hip pain -
This shoe works well for someone like me, who suffers from osteo-arthritis with degenerative disc disease resulting in 3 herniated discs. Also have a calcific tendonitis in my hip, which I think resulted from limping due to plantar fasciitis. I used to do very high impact aerobics every day, I assume this brought on these injuries. This shoe, so far, enables me to carry on in a very active job managing a farm co-operative including the computer system which means jumping and running a lot. I also have 3 pairs of the Ecco Performance RXP 3050, which are good too but not quite as good. I wear a Sof sole athletic orthotic which forces me to buy a size up so my feet feel like clodhoppers, but I wouldn't last the day without this set up. I recommend a size bigger if you are using an orthotic. I wish they had this shoe in better colors, like solid white or beige, but I guess I am lucky I have it in any color. For some reason, they make these Ecco Performance RXPs in weird colors. It should be noted that I found this brand after calling the 800 # Zappos hotline and explaining to the consultant the nature of my foot and hip injuries. She then steered me to this brand of shoe and I tried out the different models to find the best (3060). I would probably be suffering more than I do with pain if it weren't for the excellent consultant with whom I spoke. I owe Zappos thanks for that. Worth the price if pain is a factor for sure. I also like the cool mesh, it's like air conditioning since I cannot wear sandals or flip flops. With a low sock, you can actually feel fairly cool with it even on hot days.

Perfect shoe -
This shoe is great for walking, awesome support for troubled feet. I had to quit walking due to painful foot problems. A friend recommended Ecco brand to me and saw that these were for my foot problems and WOW! They are perfect. The first day I went on a 5 mile walk and NO pain! Usually I really feel it the next day and still NO pain. This shoe is the best!!! Will be ordering another pair!!!
