Cute shoes! They are a bit heavy, so they would be hard to wear in hot, summer months but, they are perfect for spring. my only complaint is that they gave me a blister on my left pinkie toe, but I assume that might be because they are new. Love the flower detail on the bottom. Very feminine.

As cute as these are they cut very tightly across the top of the foot. I couldn't get my foot fully into the shoe it was so tight -- even with nylons on! I was really disappointed - they'll have to go back because I don't believe going up a size will relieve this problem!

These shoes are so cute, I wanted to love them but alas, I had to return them twice because the just did not fit. The toe box is so short, and has a slight curve which pinched down on my toes. I even ordered a size larger to try, and it did the same thing. If you try this shoe, definitely go large, even a full size large will likely be needed unless you have really short toes. But if they did fit, they seem like they would be comfortable and they are super cute. Sigh.

I love my other J-41 open-toed shoes. I want to cry that these sizes don't run the same. I normally wear a 9.5. I had to order up a half size with my other J-41s. I ordered a 10 in these shoes, too and the only 10 I have ever worn. When they came, they were too small. I measured the inside. The footbed is a 1/2 inch shorter than the other style J-41 size 10. There is no size 10.5, but I'm worried that my shoe got miss marked. I may try to order another size 10 because I love the shoes!

The shoes seem great but do not fit well at all. The toe bed is too small in height. There is no room for my toes to sink in so the length is short too. I will try a 1/2 size larger.

The base of this shoe is exactly the same as a JAMBU I just received. That is an odd coincidence. Ran much smaller due to their special inlay, which was comfortable but stole space.

Very nice and comfortable, but my toe hits the end of the shoe and unfortunately makes walking in them a problem. I need about 1/2 in inch more and I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 and these 11's are just a bit too small.

So sad. I thought these were cute and would be great for my medical job where I'm running around all day. Cute, yes. Comfortable, no. I did follow the advice of other reviewers and got a 7.5, bigger than the 6.5/7 I typically wear. I think I could have gotten a 7. However, I don't think the size was the problem. The toe box is too rigid and small, even for my skinny feet. Also, the sole is not as cushioned as I expected. The second day I wore them, I realized I was getting edgy by the end of my shift because my feet were screaming at me. Sadly, the shoes are being sent back. What to get instead? Another pair of Danskos?

I thought from the picture and description that the cutouts in these were holes (which I wanted). They are actually holes, which I don't want. I will be returning these.

Cute shoe, but not what I expected. The "sparkles" on the black are copper-toned, not silver as they appear in the photo. Also, I normally wear a 7.5, but ordered an 8 to wear with hand-knit socks and still could not wear these with regular socks. Felt like a 7, or even smaller. The arch was very strange, too, it was not flat but very bumpy. Felt weird on the bottom of my foot.

I normally take an 8.5 to accommodate my high arch, but with an open back, I can usually take an 8. I first ordered an 8 and 8.5 for sizing. I couldn't even get my foot in the 8.5. So, I then ordered a 9. The 9 was too long and still tight across the toe box. Sadly, returned all 3. The sizing on Jambu seems inconsistent at best. :(

Toe area was SO tight. I've never had that problem with any other shoe before, and it was so rigid that there was no way I'd have been able to get used to it. Length was just right, so couldn't have gone up a size (and it probably wouldn't have mattered - it wasn't "size" so much as style that was the problem). Just sent them back today, but hated to - they were really cute!

I purchased the J-41 Continental in 2008 as a work shoe; having worn it out I was looking to replace it with the Jasper which apparently has replaced the J41 Continental. I am on my feet 8+ hours a day and the Continental was the best shoe ever! Sadly, the Jasper is a poor imitation of the Continental...the front of the shoe has been made more shallow allowing way too much "toe cleavage"; it has a very rigid top that cuts into my foot; the width of the shoe has been cut back, so much so that I can no longer wear it. The material the strap is made of is very rigid and cheap looking. In fact the whole shoe looks cheap, from the lining bed and the type of leather used. I am so disappointed as J-41 was my go-to shoe and I don't even want to order a size up. How sad.

Cute shoes but not very comfortable. I work in a hospital and the 2nd day I wore them the strap ripped. I had to borrow a coworker's shoes for the rest of my shift. Needless to say, not happy. The store I purchased them from was no help without a receipt and I can find no way to get in touch with the manufacturer.
