I have bought 2 pairs in a row for the NYC winters. They last me one season because I wear the heel down by the end of the season. When the heel is worn down, holes appear and water leaks through the sole. Also be careful taking these off - do not use the toe of one shoe to help slip off the heel of opposite foot because you will cause the rubber sole to tear away from the shoe and they won't last the season. I have decided to not buy another pair and buy boots that are better for heavy winter. I wear a 6.5 normally, but 7 with socks worked out very well for me. If you buy smaller, it will rub your heel uncomfortably.

These were good at first, after a few weeks use they got major creases in them and on both shoes there's one that hits right above my heel and gave me a blister after walking in them for like 15 minutes. The creases make them really uncomfortable for me. I don't think these are worth the price; I feel like I wasted my money and I regret buying them.

If you are a larger person, do not buy these boots. The calf opening is narrow, even when you roll down the top of the boots to see the furry side.

When I first got these boots, I was so excited to wear them. However, they gave me really bad blisters. I'm a size 8 & ordered true to size. After wearing them a few times they stopped hurting and were really comfortable. Then, after just a few months, I noticed the sole was starting to come off, even though I was not hard on them at all. My roommate has had these boots for a little over a year now and hers are just now starting to do the same thing. I wouldn't get these boots again. They're just not durable enough for the money.

This boot is comfy for casual days. It's warm and cozy, and feels good on those cold lazy days. Just don't try to go for a long walk in it; there's no support so it's not good for lots of walking.

I love my Bearpaw boots! I have 6 pair of them and I live in them during the cooler months. The Emma 10" in chestnut went perfectly with several tops I own, are totally comfortable, and I think a bargain, compared to the Uggs brand. They wear very well, fit true to size (and remember, the inner fleece lining will compact down after a few wearings), keep my feet and ankles warm, and have a long-wearing nonslip tread. They come in great colors and various heights. What more could you ask for?

Love the boots. They make my feet feel like home! The very first time I slipped my foot into the boot it was total comfort, and they are very good looking, too.

This boots are by far the most comfortable, attractive, and affordable boots on the market. I highly recommend them for those who are on their feet alot and demand comfort.

This is the fourth pair of Bearpaw's that I have bought. My twin teen-aged daughters got their first pair when they were in high school and loved them. Made exceptionally well and have lasted for years. I bought two more pairs this Christmas, one was for me, and I love them! The fit is perfect and who needs much less expensive than Uggs. By the way, I have purchased from Zappos about 8 or 9 times and am amazed at their service. The customer service department is the absolute best there is. Zappos is the way to go!

This may sound strange but I'm writing this prior to receiving my boots. I went with Bearpaws suggestion of ordering a size larger which I did. Unfortunately I have to return for my true size, I tried them on in the mall last night and the 9 was just too sloppy. My toe did touch the end but I've been told the boots do stretch. I hope so. The boot was super cute though!

These boots are super comfortable and nice and warm. Perfect for both lounging around the house or if you need to go out to run errands.

I love these boots. Very soft, and comfortable. Feels like I am walking with nothing on my feet.

I just received my boots and love them very much. They are very comfortable, lightweight and stylish.

I wear a shoe size 9, but got these in a size 10, because of reviews saying to size up on other Bearpaw boots. But I do not think you need to size up. In fact, my friend who wears a size 11 can fit the size 10 (Emma boot)! But to compare to Uggs Classic Short, the BP feels more like a slipper overall, they are more flat to the ground than Uggs so if you are looking for a lot of arch support then stick to Uggs. I actually feel taller in the Uggs (because of the thicker sole). But on the other hand, BP soles are very flexible & very soft. Uggs are stiffer & harder. BPs shaft is way stiffer then the Uggs, Uggs shaft is more soft & flexible, you can easily fold the Uggs down. Also there's a seam across & over the ankle on both boots and you can feel the seam on the Uggs, so it can be irritating! Bearpaw Emma is the best Ugg alternative I have purchased to date! Most cheaper "Uggs" are hard like cardboard & have terrible soles! But not Bearpaw, I will not be purchasing any more Uggs because overall Bearpaw "Emmas" are more comfortable & cheaper!

I ordered these from Zappos after seeing them in person at a department store where they didn't have my size. It took one very fast and efficient exchange process to get the right size, but now that I have these boots, I'm very pleased with the color, comfort and style, as well as Zappos' high level of customer service. I almost always wear an 8 in boots and sneakers, but the 8 Bearpaw was tight, even without thick socks. These boots don't come in half-sizes, but the 9 fit perfectly. The navy shade is great with dark jeans.

Very comfortable and warm. Obviously not meant to be walked in for long distances, but that is a given with these types of shows.

Love the shoe, so warm! Bought it in my true size, and was super snug, so bought a size higher but didn't realize it would stretch. Now it's kind of big. Will probably buy my true size again and hope it stretches like this one did.

So warm, so comfy, so easy. I love to just slip these boots on for those days I want no fuss and it's cold outside. They are not good for long walks, but perfect for lower key activities.

These are just not high quality, comfortable shearling boots. I told myself I didn't need to spend money on Uggs or Emus or Warmbats but the Bearpaws don't have the super snug footbed that the higher priced boots do. Now I'm looking for sale Uggs or Emus! Bearpaws tend to run one size small. I wear a 7, bought an 8.

Seriously, go for the more expensive brand of this kind of boot. I bought these for my daughter last year. After a month, the sole separated. I had the one boot repaired but by the beginning of the next season, it happened again on both shoes. So, she got one season out of them. Poor cow gave his life and now they are in the trash. I suggest paying the extra money and getting more durable boots.
