I never wore Birkenstocks before and I am glad that I did because I was I was having foot problems and that just took care of the that issue after couple days of breaking them in. I went one whole size smaller though it is a good thing that I tried them on the store first and they did not have my size so I went to Zappos. The customer service is great.

This is the third pair of the exact same shoes that I have bought. My son loves them and wears them to death! They are very comfortable for him and he is flat-footed.

My grandson was visiting here in WI and we shopped for shoes in Madison for an entire afternoon. When we returned back home I suggested he look on the Zappos website and do some comparative shopping (He's a sophomore at a University in WA). He had never heard of Zappos (imagine that) but spent a lot of time selecting. When he returned to WA two days later they were at his doorstep. Now, how can you beat that?

These shoes run a bit larger than Birkenstock women's sizes. For example, I was a 38 in women's, and I'm a 37 in unisex. Otherwise, they are a great pair of shoes, and I'm happy to have a new pair of Birks.

I love my Birkenstock, but if you have narrow feet make sure you order the narrow and the color is very nice and dark. :-)

These are my all time favorite shoes. And they last forever. The last pair I ordered was in 2008, and I was told last week that my old shoes are cute! And believe me, I have worn them to death, even glued the sole back together! The longer you wear them, the more comfortable they are. The shoes are great for my wide feet, but with the buckle you can tighten them as much as you need.

I bought these--my first pair of Birkenstocks--for a vacation to Zion National Park. I typically wear a 9.5 wide in women\'s, and having read some Birk. reviews about them running short, bought a 41, as well. The 40 was perfect in length. The contoured footbed takes some getting used to. And while I don\'t think I\'ve yet actually broken them in (even after our vacation), I did not have any foot pain, shin splints, or leg achiness following our days on the trails. The day after wearing them extensively, the bottoms of my feet felt a bit tender when I put them on, but that was really the only downside. They\'re unusual feeling, at first, but not nearly as unattractive or bulky as I\'d expected.

I absolutely love these Birkenstock shoes. I take a size 8 but ordered the 38. I have narrow feet with arches on both sides and these are so comfortable. I have gotten many compliments also. Zappos is a great company to deal with and the free shipping I love. I have spoken with their staff on the phone and they are so personable. I highly recommend these sandals.

I am a regular customer and this is the first time I am not completely satisfied with the product. The fading color looks as it has been scratched, and the sole is not as comfy as others. I did not send it back because I have been very busy with the visit of my children; otherwise I would have sent it back. Sorry, but this is the first time in years I am not completely satisfied with the product.

Just ordered these and I can tell that they will be comfortable, but the sizing is odd. I could barely get my foot in there even with the buckle on the last hole. The length of the shoe is really long. I generally wear anywhere between a 9 or a 10 and yet a 9 in this style is way too big. I've bought European size 42 in other brands in the past and that was either just right or kind of small.

Well, you can always count on Birkenstocks - true to size and always made well. Zappos zapped them to me in no time at all. Great service.

The town where I live only has one dealer, and they only sell one style in one color. When I ordered from Zappos, the options were practically endless. And I received my order in just a few days. Easy Peezy. I needed them because I was having a problem with swelling, and they are so adjustable. Nothing else would fit.

Nothing like a genuine pair of Birkenstocks for comfort. I like the dark oiled and substantial leather. Zappos, your the best. I can always count on great service and products.

I ordered these for my husband who has been suffering from plantar fasciitis for a several months. He loves them! They did take a few weeks to break in, just like everyone says. Recently, he walked around the house barefoot, and he realized just how much they have been helping his foot pain. He wears them any time he is not at work. The second he gets up, and as soon as he gets home from work until he goes to bed. He did discover that the straps will stretch out after a while and has had to add a few holes to tighten them up. Next time will will order a size down. We had tried them on at a store on vacation, but they did not have his size. When we got in the car, I looked them up on my Zappos app on my phone, ordered them, and they were on our doorstep the next day when we got home! I love you Zappos! I don not know why we even bothered with the store. You have great service and selection. Thank You!

Birkenstock's are the best and so is Zappos. With any Birk there is an adjustment period. It seems like you either love them or hate them. I am of the love them group. The Arizona style has the classic look and I feel it is the perfect placement of the straps. There is no "flip-flop feel." Enjoy!

These are the only sandals my husband will wear. The arch support was the big sell for him. They look great with all his summer outfits and he doesn't complain about the fit ever. Highly recommend for men that are picky about comfort & style.

Love these shoes! I have arthritis and I wore them all day and night, while pushing a stroller and my feet felt great. I usually wear a medium width, but the narrow is perfect.

Sizing: I wear a US9 and ordered a 42 Birk. I had to downsize to a 41, 42 were canoes for me. Great Birk. Worth every penny.

I'm a convert. They really do force you to walk differently, with a different posture, and it's very comfortable after a few days. A lot of reviews here advise buying a size smaller than you normally would, but the booklet that comes with them states they should be a little big. Your toes and heel are not supposed to touch the edges, and they need room to move around. I wear a 10.5 narrow shoe normally, and I bought the equivalent Birkenstock shoes. No problems, they feel great, and have about 3/8 inch in front and back.

I love my Birkenstocks! They are always so comfortable and a quality sandal. I have a narrow foot which is hard to find good sandals and shoes to fit. Great to see so many styles to pick from on Zappos.

Overall great shoe. Sturdy and well made as all birks are and they look great too. I've received multiple compliments on this color, which I happen to love!
