I usually wear a women’s size 11 to 11.5. I originally ordered a women’s 11, which was marked 43. It ended up being short on my left foot, especially when I put my orthotics in... my toes touched the end uncomfortably and my foot was cramped. I ordered the mens 43.5 and mens 44. The mens 43.5 was exactly the same as the womens 43. I took out the inserts and they were identical length. The mens 44 ended up working for me with my orthotics. They are a bit wider than the womens but because they lace all the way down it works. I have high arches and extremely thin, narrow low volume feet. I haven’t been able to find hiking boots that work for me—these scarpa mojito approach shoes are the closest I could get.

I wear a size 12 in women's, which is very difficult to find. I am always on the hunt for men's shoes that are cute and functional. Wanted something that I could wear on a hike, on the bike, at work, and casually around the city. Got these in a size 10.5 and they fit awesomely. Might swap out the insole for something with a little more padding, but they check all the important boxes for me. As a bonus, I get compliments for the look.

Very comfortable, neat color. They look like bowling shoes because of the laces going all the way to the toe.

This is a wonderfully funky looking and comfortable shoe. I got the Lake Blue in size 14. It felt a bit narrow at first, but, after fiddling with and adjusting the laces a bit, they fit me fantastically. As others have noted, there is not a lot of padding under the front of the foot, but I liked the way they felt when trying them on and walking around inside with them on. However, I realized that for a shoe of this sort at this price point, I needed it to be waterproof in order to justify the expense, and thus, reluctantly, I returned them in favor of something that met my needs better. If you do not need Gore-Tex-type waterproofing and are solely looking for a comfortable and good-looking high-end walking and light-hiking shoe, then I think this would be a great shoe for you.

I like the fit of the full lace-down shoes. Mojitos are comfortable except in the toe box which is tight, and where the toe bends it dug into my foot. I switched to the Margaritas which are much more comfortable.

I wear size 10 in pretty much any other shoe, and that holds true for this shoe as well. The toe box doesn't seem as roomy as other shoes, and felt "flatter". The ceiling of the toe box has been rubbing the tops of my toes. I think I fixed that by pulling the tongue as much as possible. However, with the size 10 shoe, if I wear a slightly thicker sock, it makes the shoe that much tighter. And there's really no extra room if you want to add inserts. Definitely go a half size up if that's the case.Unfortunately I can't take advantage of Zappos's 365 return policy as I've already tossed the box. I'm thinking of buying another pair in 10.5 just to see if those fit any better with inserts and/or thicker socks. The shoes themselves are comfortable enough. Wore them on a 2 mile walk and they performed well, but I was wearing thinner socks.

Really wanted to like these shoes because they look cool, but my feet just don't fit into them. The length is perfect but they're way too narrow and constricting across the mid-foot. If other stability control type shoes don't fit you (like Solomon) these might not either. Scarpa climbing shoes do fit me, however. Oh well!

I have a fairly large / wide big toe, and it's always a struggle to find shoes that aren't super boxy but can still accommodate my toe without pain. These fit the bill. The sole is a nice rugged pattern. My largest beef with these is that they have basically no footbed padding. I like them for driving, but for longer distance walking, my feet can't take the punishment. Think of them along the lines of the Nike "Free" running shoes, but with a more all-terrain outsole. They are nice for driving (i.e. 3 pedal driving) since you get decent pedal feel due to the lack of padding between insole and outsole. Not as good as something like a Piloti, but a nice choice for driving somewhere and then possibly having to walk around in mud or dirt or anything other than clean tarmac. Just hope you don't have to walk too long, because the lack of cushioning is painful.

These are great. Much better quality than other brands, by far. Fit kind of weird though. The 10.5 seem a bit too long (room at the end of the shoe) but the 10.3 were too tight.

These fit perfectly right out of the box. They immediately became my most comfortable every day shoe, they're light and sturdy and well built and are good looking enough to wear to work.

I really like these shoes. Took them to Hong Kong and probably walked 5-10 miles a day for a week in them. Feet felt great. The only fault I have with them is the inner lining at the inside ankle where it meets the leather. That wore out on both shoes. Not like I ever kicked them off or clipped that spot.. so I don't know what could be done about it. Otherwise, a GREAT shoe! I would like more color choices.

I really like this pair of shoes. I wore them with jeans to the office today and got three compliments today alone. People seem to really notice the unique style and blue suede. I expect them to be my go to travel/city walking shoes and they are great to just wear about town. Buy at least a full size larger than your usual size. I tried three different sizes before settling on a pair (43½). I usually take a size 9 (42 European) but they were too small. I ordered a size 42½ and was surprised to find exactly zero difference in size between the 42 and 42½. Same outsole. Same upper. Same size. I ended up purchasing a 43½ instead of a 43 as Zappos was out of 43. And that fit. These shoes loosen up quite a bit after wearing them a couple of times.

Scarpa makes amazing shoes! They are comfortable, great colors, and so far very durable. This is one of three pairs of shoes or boots made by them that I now own. They are true to size and the weatherproof models are truly That! Having tested them in the mountains of AFG. Thank You!

Well made, stylish, comfortable hiking shoes (in my case"urban hiking"). My only problem with these shoes is that because the long lacing and the lose tongue small stones get into the shoe all the time. As you walk on dirt roads (these are a hiking shoes after all) tiny stones fall onto the laced part and they naturally make their way inside the shoe. An attached tongue would prevent this. I am still going to buy more the these Scarpa sneakers.

Overall, a great shoe. Sizing is good for length but seems to run narrow in the fit. I wore them for a week straight walking 30-40K steps a day and my feet never felt better. Great support. The only problem was on BOTH shoes, the light colored mesh cushioning at the same exact spot on the inside of both ankles started to fray and wear out after just two weeks of wear. That was disappointing. I got a number of compliments and inquiries and will probably buy another pair when I wear these out!

These are nice looking shoes, and would fit most people well. I have specific arch requirements, and these shoes, though having good support throughout, did not have any pronounced arch, and so I returned them rather than buying an insert.

I like the shoes and others always comment that they're cool. The bed liner is crap. I replaced with a gel and that made a huge difference in comfort. They were a bit snug at first. But the full length lacing allows you to let them out or tighten them up all the way to the toe box to get a nice custom fit. Good looking kicks for jeans or shorts. A step up from athletic shoes and can be dressed up a little bit.

Even better looking shoe in person. I have a somewhat narrow foot so the lace to toe is really nice to create a good fit. In a light hike type shoe I did expect a stiffer sole. You can feel pointy rocks through the bottom. The more I where the better it feels. This shoe is turning out to be one of those shoes you put on and say ahhhhhh!

Good and comfortable shoes. With the laces extending the full length, you can adjust it along your foot for a snug fit. However, the tongue does slip quite a bit when walking, either to the sides or down the shoe so you'll find yourself tugging at it once in a while to correct its position.

Fantastic shoe. Very well made and stylish. I love that the laces go all they way down to the toe. I would like to make a few points. Comfortable, but a little stiff initially. My size was not available, so I sized up by 1/2 size...and good thing. Not sure why so many reviews say this is 'true to size', because I found them just right after sizing up (similar to Nike sizing). My feet are by no means bulky, almost towards the lean/narrow side. If you wear thick socks, it will be an issue. Arch support is not that great. That said, I still recommend this shoe.

Production defects in tongue--irregular attachment at toe box and curled at the sides with cramped space on instep. It's a completely different tongue construction than when shoe was made in Italy, where tongue was stabilized in place being attached (sewn) to the side of the shoe 2/3's of its length, with a smooth feel at the toe and instep. Inconsistent quality control is disappointing as a previous shoe bought a month ago had better construction. Suggest you inspect the tongue to lie flat and smooth, no curling at edge, before installing.

I bought this based on the many fine reviews. The fit is a bit narrow for my foot and the footbed is hard; not well cushioned. The comfort level, for me, was not what others had indicated.

The fit, size, quality, and styling of this shoe are all very good. I am a lady and have been walking on city streets 5-8 miles per day. Unfortunately, they make my feet and toes hurt quite a lot. I have given them multiple day trials with the original insole, and two others with the same results. Maybe for shorter walks for me would be okay, but for long walks, it gets very painful for me. I have average width feet, I am a woman, I have average arches, and no other foot problems. I don't know what the source of the pain is, my guess is that perhaps the footbeds are too hard for me, especially for long walks. :(

I really wanted to like these, but had to return due to the fit on my feet. I ordered a half size larger as recommended by other reviewers which was good. They do feel different than other shoes due to the laces going all the way down. Something I had to get used to. At times they felt like they fit like a glove. At other times the laces over my toes felt constricting and uncomfortable as they rubbed occasionally. It was a love hate relationship, but in the end I felt that walking in these 12-16 hours a day on an upcoming 2 week trip might get too uncomfortable, so we parted ways. A very nicely designed and constructed shoe that I think will serve many very well. Gotta try it out yourself to see.

Very good looking shoes but are very uncomfortable. I tried lacing and re-lacing the shoes but were always either to tight on the top of my foot or over my toes. Very disappointing.
