I was a little skeptical about spending so much money on a hot water pot, but it is solidly built and lets you "walk" away. I never really paid attention to brew temp and steep time, but with this, you will never end up with bitter tea.

Buy this machine. I know, the price tag is scary. Save up. Make it a shared gift between you and someone you love and live with because any household with this tea maker is fortunate. I can't believe I am drinking tea this smooth and flavorful in my own home! I get not a hint of bitterness and only the nuance and flavor of any tea I make. I've started drinking a lot more tea and different kinds of teas (white tea, what?). What's more, you can use it to heat water to specific temperatures (yeast for doughs)! It's so versatile and useful!

This is by far one of the most advanced kitchen contraptions that I have ever had the pleasure to use. It is as easy as pushing a few buttons and makes a perfect cup of tea every time. It used to take me 10-12 minutes to make a cup of high quality loose tea and I was tending to the process the entire time. With this thing I can have a pot ready when I wake up in the morning. Yes, it is expensive, but it uses a lot of tech to simplify a burdensome process. If you are a tea aficionado and prefer loose tea to the generic in-the-bag stuff this teapot is almost a must to enjoy the experience. Absolutely wonderful

The best thing ever! After so many positive reviews all over Internet, I found through Zappos website. So, so easy to work it. If you pay for those expensive teas, you might as well have them brewed the right way. I'm in total love with this machine!

I purchased this item as a Christmas gift for my husband who enjoys making a wide variety of teas including fresh fig leaf tea. This was the best gift ever. He uses it many times a day. When some comes to visit he wants to show off all of its features.

My wife and I love this tea maker. We use it for all kinds of different types of tea and we appreciate that it allows you to choose custom temperature and brew time settings. We also like the delayed start feature for having tea ready to go in the morning. Probably the best part of having a tea maker is not having to watch the temperature of your water as the tea is brewing. The tea turns out perfectly every time.

I love this tea maker. Tea taste wonderful because it is brewed at the perfect temperature and for the exact amount of time. I can walk away and when it's finished a bell sounds and it will stay warm. Never again a bitter cup of tea. Hate the price but love the tea maker. And for the money it is very well made.

I know this item is pricey, but it works amazingly well. Temperature is just right and my loose-leaf tea never tasted so good and flavorful!

This is hands down the best electric kettle/tea infuser ever of all time. Extremely simple to use and very small footprint. I'm a sucker for stainless steel design (it looks so cool!). If you are serious about good teas, then this is definitely for you. I've been using this device for over a month now with my Teavana teas and I'm super pleased. You get the flavor you want out of your teas without any mess or hassle. 5 stars all around.

This tea maker is wonderful, I use it to brew iced tea. I have several other appliances by Breville and all are excellent.
