Fit smaller than normal size 9. Toe box is tighter than most, leaving my toes squeezed.

overall this looks to be a good safety shoe, however the toe box is narrow. I ordered my true size of 7.5 medium. I have sent them back because I feel my toes would start hurting fairly quickly since they felt cramped inside the box. From what I have read the differance between a medium and a wide is 1/8" of an inch. So I will order the 7.5 wide and see if the toe box is any better.

Shoes fit perfectly and thought they would be a great alternative to mid/high top boots. However, it took a little bit of bending and conditioning of the heel as it cut into my ankle due to the seam running right up the back, making it a bit stiffer. A couple of bandaids and a little water/bending the stiff leather made it work, but maybe they could have avoided it with a bit of padding on the head/seam top. Shoes are comfy now, and well worth the money.

The cushion insert made my feet sweat and didn't absorb the moisture. I had to pull the inserts out and replace them with Dr. Shoals work soles. Better now.

It felt good for a while, but after feels like I need to put in some foot comfort pads

I found them to be a good comfortable shoe, nice fit. Good foot support I work a 10-hour shift at Amazon walking the entire shift.

Has a hard sole. Makes it unusable without insert

I really like the styling of the shoes. I do not know if they are comfortable over a entire shift...I too them off and put on my "plan B" shoes. They were just too heave for my job that requires me to basically be in an area a few feet.

They are really good and comfortable, also no so heavy that allows me to walk my whole day.

Overall, the shoes fit very nicely. There was a slight misalignment with arch supports with the insoles, but with a re-adjustment, the fit is better. The photographs on the website don't reveal the overall design effectively. As they have a similar design the Converse "Chuck Taylors" toe covering. (most likely to cover the reinforced composite toe). The tread is good and offers nice traction but I have not worn them in a warehouse/work situation as I am still breaking the shoes in. The only negative aspect; these shoes are comfortable when I am wearing Smart Wool socks, any other socks are too thin and begin to hurt my feet. The Smart Wools socks have thicker material making the shoes comfortable and the socks wicks.

We got the size my husband wears and in wide. Still feels tight. Hopefully they will be feel good after breaking them in.

This is a second pair because the first pair was too large. This pair still felt longer, my toes are at the edge of the composite toe protection. I know that I should have returned them for another smaller size but I needed shoes badly for work since my old shoes was breaking apart rapidly. Although these are wide width, it still felt a little narrower, it felt like it was a one width smaller than it should have been. Since I've been using the shoes for work, it did feel comfortable despite being a little longer. I didn't feel clumsy while working, even when operating equipment around the facility. I'll probably order another pair when these wear out, and I'll make sure to order the correct size. I have noticed that shoe sizes vary greatly between brands. My old shoes is a 10.5 wide, my new pair is the same size and width. But because they're not of the same make, my new pair is longer than my old pair. I can't say the same for others since our feet aren't made the same.

Very durable shoe fits well but they are like walking on concrete. There is no cushion or support to them. But nothing an insole can't fix.

Love the shoe and look but could use better insole.....but overall still a good safety work shoe. Although I have only been wearing them for a week now, but I have no doubt they’ll last the season if not longer....just wish they had a better insole.....

I got the wide's and for what ever reason, it was rubbing on the left side of my big toe on right foot. it seems to be right where composite safety toe started. Also, there wasn't much padding in shoe bed. I would of needed to add a insert just for extra padding. So, there going back.

Typical width to CAT boots, but shorter than usual. The one element of comfort is the flexibility of the shoe--hard to find. There's no arch support and NO midsole/insole for comfort. You need to buy one b/c it would be impossible to wear these without support on a cement floor. I like though that they feel like a basketball shoe. That's a great feature. Had to return. I may try them larger and with a great cushion insole. Styling is great.

I first ordered a size 8/medium and it was too big. I returned the shoes and ordered a size 7.5/medium and it feels great. My normal size is 7.5, but I thought that since these shoes were composite toe that i would need to go a size bigger. Order these shoes true to whatever size you normally where.

I love these shoes due to the front not going to far back because I had a set of keen shoes and they made my small toe hurt every time I use them. If caterpillar had keen bottom grip with these style this will be the best work shoe.

Shoe eyelets are pulling out and breaking

Didn't wear a them due to heaviness. Description says these weigh 1#-4oz. I currently have the Cat Venward CT and it says they weigh 2#-1.5oz. There is no way that's true. Venward is definitely lighter than the Argon. I am returning Argon and getting Venward again.

Basic fit was ok. However, a coworker had these two years ago, and had mentioned the composite toe was too low inside and bit his toes. He and I wear different sizes and width, so I thought maybe they would be different for me. I mentioned to another coworker this morning that they had arrived, and I was curious how they were going to work out, She mentioned a separate coworker had them, and mentioned they were biting him at the top of his heel. When I got home I tried them on, and sure enough, both criticisms were dead on. Next....

Too heavy to work 10 hours in.

could not wear - too narrow for my feet.

OK arch support. Insoles could be better for long days on the feet. Steel toe footwear tends to be harder to stand in for long periods of time, so better cushioning would make these more appealable. Don't really care so much about style, just need it to be comfortable.
