I searched the internet for style, price, and shipping charges...I found the exact style I was looking for, the price was the lowest for the product, and free shipping...and when I couldn't take my Visa card number, I used the telephone number given and the gentleman who answered took all information over the phone and gave me next day air for shipping, and this was for two pair. Also, they had the correct sizes I wanted...yes, Nike Monarch Air IV, with that great Nike Air insole...and made with real leather uppers!

My husband always has trouble finding comfortable tennis shoes. These Nike Air Monarchs are perfect for his wide foot. He wears 11 D. These are true to fit. He says they provide excellent support and cushion his walk. This helps his knees a lot. He has no trouble putting them on. Very durable.

Nike, please do not abandon these shoes! I have been using Air Monarchs for about 10 years and probably have had 20 pairs or so. For me, they are ideal for the gym, the racquetball court, and the tennis court. I have experienced the infamous squeak with roughly 25 percent of them, but a little baby powder eliminated it. These are by far my favorite cross trainers!

I wear these shoes for work. The local store did not have these any longer so I looked online. I found these on Zappos and took a chance. I saved money on the purchase. I still had the old box from my worn out shoes. They were the same shoes and the same fit. The order was fast and I will order from Zappos again.

Super duper! Shoes fit my hubby perfectly and he says he's never had more comfy walking shoes. In fact, he loved them so much I ordered a second pair! They said they would ship them quickly, and they did. It's a rare thing these days to find a company who does what they say they will do. Super duper job and at a good price too!

These shoes feel great and provide good support. I currently weight about 250 and started a exercise program that has me doing a variety of exercises i.e. lunges, steps, jumping jacks, etc. In the past I have been wearing my walking shoes but thought I would try some trainers. I'm glad I did. The improvement in cushioning and support is indeed a pleasant surprise. I thought I had to pay more money for good shoes but these proved me wrong.

Excellent shoes! I love the Monarch's! I put in a different insole to support my extra weight, but these shoes are just the best!

These shoes are great. They took a few wears to fully break in, but once I walked in them for a bit the fit great and I am very happy with them (both feel and looks).

I am a die-hard Nike fan, so I may be a little prejudiced. These are the most comfortable Nike shoes I have ever worn. Right from the first time I put them on my feet, I knew they would be my favorites.

These are the most comfortable shoes for work. I have four pairs of them, I have every color. I walk all day and my feel never get sore or tired. before buying these shores I use to soak them in epsom salt after work, cause they were sore and achy. I was even worried about being able to continue working. Now I don't have any problems. I buy new ones every six months too. It is cheaper then quitting my job. If they squeak when you walk. take out the inner sole and put some baby powder in there then put it back in and the squeak will go away. I had two pairs that squeaked. The baby powder cured them.

I bought these shoes for work which has me on my feet eight hours a day. Very similar shoes in a different brand had left me with sore feet at the end of the day but these are fine.

A great fit and a great price. Zappos came through big time and delivered the next day. It does not get any better!

I've been buying this shoe for a few years now. I've had on/off back problems for years and like to workout a lot, walk long distances, and am generally very active. These are the only shoes that hold up to my abuse and keep me from pain. Recently, I ruptured a disc and have had bad sciatica. I had switched to another shoe and just couldn't get comfortable. I picked up a new pair of Monarchs this week and am already feeling way more comfortable and pain-free when on my feet for long periods of time. I wish I could more easily find size 11 in grey; the others look pretty "meh" to me.

This is my second pair, the first lasted a long time despite the abuse they suffered from my flat feet and extra weight. Don't remember the first pair having that annoying squeak but at least the squeak seems to be lessening as they break in. Going to try one of the other styles.

Zappos is a great company to do business with. This is my third pair of the same shoe. Only problem I ever had is that they will develop a squeak easily fixed by pulling out the inner bottom lining and putting in some baby powder.

Perfect fit! I wear an 11 1/2" (as wide as you can get) which this shoe is 4E, and it fit perfect. Very nice sneaker at a reasonable price. Wore them right out of the box all day walking around Fisherman's wharf with no problems. Very pleased.

My husband was looking for a comfortable shoe because he is on his feet all day long. He has always like Nike but he said these are the best shoe he has had. Very comfortable. He is very happy.

Bought a pair of these in white at a local outlet mall and loved them from the moment I first put them on. Very comfortable for distance walking even before being broken in. Wide heel base with good arch support and not too tight across the toes, which is where I have a problem with many shoes. Local retailers didn't have them in black so ordered them online from Zappos, where price was even better than the outlet store.

Several months ago, I had chronic inflammation of the knee joints, especially the right knee. Walking was difficult and steps were a real challenge. Being 59 years old, I thought that my body was wearing out. This was scary because I am a self employed contractor. A friend suggested looking into footwear designed to cushion the impact from the foot upward into the leg and hip areas. It could reduce physical stress to the knees and back. It seemed like a smart idea so I did a great deal of research and settled on the Nike Air Monarch IV, featuring the full length air soles. It is built tough, as most cross trainers are, but the desired cushioning was there right from the start. I also learned about orthotics and tried some over the counter ones with the Nikes. My left knee did not like it but my right knee was very happy. A perfect combination! Remarkable comfort with greatly reduced pain almost right away! The use of a new dietary joint support supplement designed to reduce inflammation completed the job. I am now back to walking normally, even quickly at times and I no longer have to think about how I am going to take each step to avoid pain. The Air Monarch IV is a very good support system for the feet and knees, and it is affordable. Perfect! (I will not pay a lot for a pair of sneakers made overseas.) By the way, I tried out the Air Monarch IV shoes at a sports store because it is always guesswork to order a size online. I bought my first pair at that store but bought a second pair at Zappos (same price but it saved me the time to make a special trip). Since it always seems to happen that when I find something I really like, the manufacturer stops making it, I bought the second pair as comfort insurance for when the first pair wears out.

Great shoe. Great stability and comfort. I have bought and used several pair over the past few years. I walk 4-5 miles a day. The full coverage air, is great on your feet. I can walk/stand in them all day without my feet getting tired/sore. Nike had a problem with the shoes making noise, (squeak when you walk) but have apparently resolved it. I have two pair now and they are quiet.

This is my third pair of Nike Airs. I tried some others, but, Air is extremely comfortable! The squeak which may occur after many months is easy to correct. Pull up the insole slowly as not to tear it and apply baby powder or foot powder - no more squeak! They are great shoes!

I have been wearing a different pair of shoes and the price was a lot. Well I decided to look for another brand to see if they provide the same comfort as what I was wearing and could save money. When I went to Zappos.com and found the brand that was well known and half the price. I order the pair and I have a new pair of shoes that met my standard. Guess what?, I paid only half the price and get to wear then everyday.
