I liked what everyone else liked with these shoes. I finally read a review to make the noise stop. Take out the inner sole and liberally sprinkle baby powder in the bottom then replace sole. I did this and was amazed how well it worked. I had to repeat the process one other time and then it quit all together. One would think Nike, with its resources, could figure this out.

The item arrived sooner than anticipated which was a plus. The item was ad shown. Good quality for the price. Definitely recommend!

A great all purpose sneaker that is comfortable and versatile and runs true to size/width. Normal, decent arch support.

This is my 7th or 8th pair of Nike air monarchs. They are the best fitting most comfortable shoes I have ever wore. I wear the 4E width and its hard to find shoes comfortable for my wide feet, these fit great every time. This is the first time I bought from Zappos. The Price is good and shipping was free. Overall I am very pleased with this purchase.

Zappos is the only place that always has my size and at a great price! I'm on my feet 8 - 14 hrs a day, these are the only shoes that don't wear out, my feet never hurt.

Excellent shoe for the price!!! Im on my third pair of these shoes! I will continue to buy them because they last a long time and are comfortable. I wear them 5 days/wk on my job and put many miles on them both inside and outside! They hold up very well and I am very pleased!

I was looking for a comfortable walking shoe to wear to work in a hospital without appearing to be an athletic shoe. I am on my feet all day and my bad knee was in need of a softer landing. I have been wearing them for two weeks now, at home and work, and they really fit the bill beautifully. Even when I am in a shirt and tie, they blend in well and no one knows they are not shoes. Will definitely buy again when they wear out.

These shoes fit as expected and arrived in much less time than initially projected. I will order again from this company. Also, the price was as low as Macy's sale price (which was the lowest online).

Terrible noise is from Nike insole. I removed it and put my orthotic in and no noise. Any insert from another shoe or local drug store will do the trick. People use powder under insole and works that is caused by adhesive used with insole. Great shoe!

I got this shoe for my fianc . He has worn this style for 10 years. He bought his first pair 10 years ago and his second pair 5 years ago. This is his third pair and as he said, "they still fit perfectly, look great and will last him 5 more years. You can't beat that, The shoe (all 3 pair) squeak when he walks. It's funny, not really annoying and according to past reviews the squeak can be fixed using baby powder under the insole. The style seems a little outdated for most but for the price, this is a great choice. It sure made my honey happy and that makes me happy.

I have been buying Nike Air Monarchs for many years as my go to tennis shoe. They last a long time and are very comfortable. I had to try several sizes and eventually settled on the wide size that was half a size larger than my previous pair. I don't know if my feet are getting bigger or the shoes are getting smaller.

These are awesome shoes as others have said. In regards to the noise/squeak. I believe that is all fixed. My newest ones don't do it. But if you have the noise problem you can do one of the following.... Return to store you purchased them from. They exchanged mine several times. Call nike.com who were excellent in exchanging my old ones for new ones. No shipping charges either way for nike.com members Take out the insole and put baby powder in the shoe, replace the insole. If needed add more baby powder. I love my shoes again.

Am hard to fit and have a very limited brand option. This shoe fits as advertised and has the construction I need to maintain stability during workouts.

I bought this shoes for my dad and he loves them. Very comfortable. The only thing is that he is usually a size 8 regular, but I had to return then and get him an 8 wide. Other than that, the shoes are great!

I searched the internet for style, price, and shipping charges...I found the exact style I was looking for, the price was the lowest for the product, and free shipping...and when I couldn't take my Visa card number, I used the telephone number given and the gentleman who answered took all information over the phone and gave me next day air for shipping, and this was for two pair. Also, they had the correct sizes I wanted...yes, Nike Monarch Air IV, with that great Nike Air insole...and made with real leather uppers!

My husband always has trouble finding comfortable tennis shoes. These Nike Air Monarchs are perfect for his wide foot. He wears 11 D. These are true to fit. He says they provide excellent support and cushion his walk. This helps his knees a lot. He has no trouble putting them on. Very durable.

Nike, please do not abandon these shoes! I have been using Air Monarchs for about 10 years and probably have had 20 pairs or so. For me, they are ideal for the gym, the racquetball court, and the tennis court. I have experienced the infamous squeak with roughly 25 percent of them, but a little baby powder eliminated it. These are by far my favorite cross trainers!

I wear these shoes for work. The local store did not have these any longer so I looked online. I found these on Zappos and took a chance. I saved money on the purchase. I still had the old box from my worn out shoes. They were the same shoes and the same fit. The order was fast and I will order from Zappos again.

Super duper! Shoes fit my hubby perfectly and he says he's never had more comfy walking shoes. In fact, he loved them so much I ordered a second pair! They said they would ship them quickly, and they did. It's a rare thing these days to find a company who does what they say they will do. Super duper job and at a good price too!

These shoes feel great and provide good support. I currently weight about 250 and started a exercise program that has me doing a variety of exercises i.e. lunges, steps, jumping jacks, etc. In the past I have been wearing my walking shoes but thought I would try some trainers. I'm glad I did. The improvement in cushioning and support is indeed a pleasant surprise. I thought I had to pay more money for good shoes but these proved me wrong.
