The person that I purchased this sho for request this particular pair. They loved the fit and said shoe was comfortable.

I have bought this shoe for years. I like the looks and style. I do allot of walking and they are great. I use them both on walks and wear them all day. When I get a new pair I use the old ones for working in the yard and doing jobs so my new ones stay cleaner.

I got these shoes for my son and he really likes them. They look really neat on his feet and feel good. I order a lot from Zappos.com and I have always been pleased.

I bought a pair of these years ago to do a total body conditioning class where we did high intensity workouts. We did walking lunges, other lunges, squats, planks, and many other exercises with weights and resistance bands. These shoes were perfect. Very comfortable fit. My feet never had a problem in these shoes. I recently bought a pair and they are still a great shoe. I walk at least 10 miles a day in them four times a week. A great product at a great price. I'll be buying another pair soon.

After owning these shoes for several years, my husband requested another pair, for dress. He has ankle problems and these give him great support.

I have to dress business casuasl for work and these shoes fit the bill. Go great with my work pants and polo shirts. Give me great comfort all night long.

We always come back to this shoe. I've been buying this shoe for years for my boys (now in high school). It's a sturdy shoe, great quality for the price point, and stylish. My kids use them for school every day so they see a lot of miles - literally as they walk to the bus stop and this shoe holds up. It's nice to see quality products still being made.

My husband finds these very comfortable. They are wide and have arch support. They are weather proof and are good for walking.

I had all about given up trying to find a black sneaker I could use at work that was a true 4E extra wide. Ive tried almost all the new balance, asics, brooks shoes offered on zappos. Most are not a 4E extra wide. If they were wide enough the soles were way to stiff, and jarring(new balance) to be used for hard concrete flooring I work on. These shoes have a very supportive cushioned sole with great ankle support. I love them , and find I want to wear them anytime we are going out shopping when I know I will be on my feet for any length of time even on my days off work. My only critique would be I wish they were leather or better yet mesh material. Nike does make plenty of mesh shoes but these are the only 4E nike ive ever seen that are all black. They are holding up extremely well. Im ordereding a 2nd pair for when these wear out! Best 4e comfy shoe you will find in all black

I have had two pair before this order. I wear them while working. As I am on my feet for the day doing painting and wallpapering I need comfortable footwear. These shoes do the job. I normally only get 6 months from a pair of shoes then my legs start to ache at night. The current pair is about 8 months old now. No aches yet. Starting to look their age but still holding up. I was not able to find them at my previous store but here on Zappos they had them and in my size. Price is very good too.

This is my 3rd pair of Nike Monarch shoes, 2nd from Zappos, these have been a great shoe, comfortable and durable. I have wide feet and it's hard to find a good quality and comfortable wide shoe but these Monarchs have been great all around shoes. In addition to having wide feet, my feet swell horribly, so comfort is key, the first pair I had were a 1/2 size smaller and after some time the inside back where your heel slides in, used to bunch up inside and could not be smoothed out or fixed and bind in my back ankle very uncomfortable, however going up a 1/2 size did the trick, I currently own 2 pairs different colors and can't say enough what a great shoe it is, additionally, this shoe was recommended by my podiatrist because of the wide width, comfortable fit and the good support!

Fits perfectly. I have wider feet and Nike is usually too narrow but these shoes are great!

These are a great addition to my collection. I have wide flat feet & it's hard to find extra wide shoes but these are perfect. They are very comfortable and I have gotten a lot of compliments from people. I recommend these shoes to anyone who have a hard time finding wider styled shoes.

I had recently purchased 2 other brand of tennis shoes. Both made my feet sore. This new pair feels better than any I have purchased in a long time. I was born with clubbed feet. Though I have been cured. I still have a tough time finding a comfortable pair of shoes since I wear size 7, 4E. I will definitely buy another pair of this style and brand if it is available.

These are the only shoes my husband wears. They are super comfy and fit very well. They last longer than any of his other shoes and are a very good price.

This shoe is true to size, fits well and is my husbands favorite! My husband has an extra wide foot and I know Zappos Will Always Have his Size at the Right Price!

They are good. But could use some more support

The style is nice looking but these shoes are not for long walks. I use them for the gym. They look great and do feel just fine. I do recommend them.

My favorite shoe.

This is my third pair in this style, second pair in black. My first pair are only three years old and still in good condition for anything, but will be replaced with the new ones for work/school. Second pair in white about 18 months old also have no problems and used for walking. Personally I need additional foot support for both ball of foot and heel. With these shoes I can add whatever I want and there is still room for comfort.

Air Monarchs are perfect for vigorous walking. I love the comfort, and they stand up to lots of hard use.

My husband has been wearing these shoes now for about 10 years and has probably gone through about 5 pairs of them in that time. They're a nice plain black, none of these ridiculously bright colours that are totally unsuitable in many situations. They're well made most of the time, although he did get one dud pair which split at the edge of the sole however Nike did offer a credit and they were replaced. As others here have said, sometimes the shoes can be very noisy, depending on the surface you're walking on (polished linoleum is worst). Not all pairs he's had have been as noisy so I don't know if the sole pattern has been changed over the years. He says he can't sneak out of work early on a Friday afternoon because his boss hears him squeaking past! The shoe is supportive and comfortable right out of the box, no need to wear them in and the price is a good value.

As a delivery person, I am on my feet for hours each day and have been purchasing the Nike Air Monarch as my work-shoe for about 10 years. They don't require the typical break-in period of other shoes and have always been comfortable from the first day of use (no blisters, sore feet, etc.). The quality has been good and consistent (with no noticeable variation size, width, overall quality). Some of these do seem to develop a slight squeak (as noted in other reviews) but it's not a concern for me and doesn't seem to affect the performance of the shoe. Zappos offers these at competitive pricing and has provided trouble-free service when purchased through their website.

These shoes are very comfortable! I typically have trouble finding shoes wide enough and these are very true to a 4E.
