Love the new Bern soft footbed!! And what a fun color!!! Not much to say, just "my feet love Birkenstock".

I love my new red shoes! I saw these in a magazine and ordered them from Zappos immediately. They were at my door the next afternoon. I never buy shoes anywhere else. I love Zappos.

Great shoe, super comfy, but they squeak when I walk!

I have another Birkenstock sandal with the soft footbed, and the pair I got had quite a firm footbed, with a lot less give. I ordered the same size but with the closed toe, my toes were hitting the front of the sandal, so I'm returning this one. I think a bigger size would be too large for my feet. It certainly isn't the most stylish of looks but Birkenstocks are quite comfortable. I know - I have 2 of them.

For years, I've been trying to figure out the Birkenstock cult following. I have Morton's Neuroma and I was desperate for relief. A woman on the Morton's neuroma blog recommended the soft footbed models. As soon as I stepped into this shoe, I was hooked! When I wear these shoes around the house, I feel great all day. These shoes prevent the inflammation and then I am pain free all day. This style is kind of cute. No doubt these are the most comfortable shoes that I own.

I've always loved Birkenstocks, but now as a pregnant nurse, these are the only shoes I can tolerate standing in for extended periods of time. These soft Bern's are so comfortable right out of the box, and on sale! Thank you Zappos for saving my 3rd trimester feet!

Love these! This is the first time I've worn the soft footbed & I'm so happy I chose it this time. Soles feel as supportive as the classic footbed, but with just a hint of cushion. Complaint - the suede is a bit "floppier" than my old Bostons, so the top of the shoe doesn't stand up independently.

Nothing else compares to these shoes. I have sacroiliac joint dysfunction from my three pregnancies. Even Dansko's are too flat for my high arch. These shoes are miraculous, comfortable and simply awesome. They do get an odor to them though because I wear them barefoot. I also look like I have hobbit feet, but I don't care. They are not the sexiest shoes, but if you want guaranteed comfort and a pain free back then get these. I got a size 42 men's and normally wear an 11.5 or 12 wide women's. I also get the soft bed, which makes all the difference.

Awesome! They are like the Boston, but the openings show off the great socks that people (myself included) wear with their Birks. I wear a 9 1/2 usually, but always wear a 39 R in Arizonas (I have many Birks) and a 40 R in clogs, and these fit great! A little big, but knowing I will always wear socks a 39R would be a bit snug. Also, Zappos, you rock. Super quick shipping, love it!
