This is the first time I've bought a low-profile shoe for working out, and I'm really pleased with them. They are incredibly lightweight (I will take them with me when I travel instead of heavier running shoes) and comfortable. I had no problem transitioning into them after wearing Brooks running shoes for years.

I would say these lie between New Balance Minimus and Merrell Barefoot in road feel. Ultra light, great foot hold, it really locks in place for such a light shoe. Would only recommend to an experienced natural/mid-foot strike runner as you could easily bruise your feet if you're not running efficiently in these.

I purchased these for HIIT. I have owned them for about 6 weeks and seem to be holding up well. I have high arches and issues with plantar fasciitis so I purchase profoot inserts for PF and all is well so far. I've tried other minimalist shoes and so far I like the little extra cushioning. The extra toe protection seems to be holding up. Especially for burpees. Other shoes I've had wore quickly on the toe. The only thing I don't like is the toe is kinda pointy. I think inov-8 could redesign the shoe so it fits the natural contour of human feet. Also provide more arch support.

I purchased this shoe for crossfit use. Super light shoe, but would not recommend if you have a narrow foot. I would also not recommend running in this shoe if you do not have barefoot running experience. Overall, felt it was a good shoe for cross fit for the price.

A nice running shoe, my 8½ weighs in at 7.1 ounces each. It is not supposed to have comfort or good arch support as it is a running flat. This shoe is narrow and long with less cush than my old Nike Luna Racers but more than Mizuno Universe. I can feel small pieces of gravel and such running on solid surfaces. Running int he grass has been fine, you will feel all the unevenness of the terrain. I would not run on any substantial trails with these shoes. You are very likely to get stone bruises. If you have a tendency to roll your foot this shoe will allow that to happen due to the narrow toe box. It does have a nice solid outsole. Most lighter weight racing/running shoes seem to only have a treaded midsole with maybe a few areas of solid rubber tread. Get the size you normally would fit. If you buy bigger, you will risk having a longer toe box and cause you to look like an elf. I will be putting miles on this shoe training for a half marathon and racing them in June. I am shooting for 1:30:00 time. I love the narrow fit, but I also have a narrow foot. Would love to try other inov-8 styles to see how they compare.

I bought these for Cross-fit and really liked the style. I believe they would've been perfect. However, these are very narrow shoes. For those like me who have cave-man like feet, my pinky toe was just waiting to bust through the side of the shoe. For that reason I have to return them.

When it comes to size Inov-8's are all the same. They run between a half size to a full size to large on the us sizes. The toe box is too long. So if you like shoes sung go a size smaller. If you like them a little loose go a half size small, a full size 11.5, which is what I wear with almost any other shoe is way too big.

A little narrow for my wide feet but still fits good just tight...true to size. All in all no regrets on the purchase.

Stylish enough to wear around with just a pair of jeans and yet you can go running with them as well. They are comfortable and super light, but there is absolutely no arch support, zero. So if you're looking for some or need some, look elsewhere. I'm happy with the purchase but I will get some sort of insert for some support.

These shoes are comfortable, they dry quickly (good for trails that hit streams) and are ridiculously light. Unfortunately they don't transition well to wet, grassy hills, or wet clay. The tread is not enough for that sort of thing. It feels good on wet asphalt, so if you run on road in rain, it's great. It's OK for trail running, but not if you're going to go too far off that proverbial beaten track. Runs a little narrow, but not uncomfortably so.

Great all-purpose endurance shoe. I use them on the road, trails, CrossFit, and for racing. If you're coming from a stability / cushion shoe, it will take some time to get into these. It took me about 1-2 months to gradually work my way into them.

Super light, lacking in comfort, probably great for cross training but for running where cushioning is desired, this probably isn't the right shoe -- at least in my opinion.

They fit much better than I expected. I have narrow feet and was finding it difficult to find trail running shoes to fit narrow feet. So far I am very happy with these shoes.

Not sure how to really rate this shoe as some may have different intentions of its use than others. Personally, I bought it just to wear as a good looking shoe that's comfortable. They do look good but don't have much (if any) support. They are a low profile shoe with barely any sole.

Ordered 1/2 size smaller. The toe box seems more appropriate for long feet, instead of my boxy ones. The have work very well on trails and pavement. I purchased as a trail shoe and have had a great experience with traction and ground feel. I am not running soft single track, instead hard granite of Acadia National Park.

Great style, very lightweight shoe. I ended up going from a 9 to an 8 1/2 and then finally to an 8 to get the right fit. There is no arch support, and orthotics don't work well (my foot slips out the back), so my solution was the arch support inserts you can pick up from the drug store. Seems to work, unfortunate to have to do anything to shoes at this price.

I love these shoes, but I will not purchase again. I use them strictly for my CrossFit workouts and nothing else. I purchased them 9 months ago and they have a hole in the side already. I was not expecting that form a pricey pair of shoes.

Not as comfortable as the inov-8 210, feels tighter and heavier. The color is not that great either.

Like the New Balance MW01 I felt this shoe was too narrow and I wear a 7.5 medium width.

I took a chance and bought these having never tried this brand before. Unfortunately, I was looking for something I could wear barefoot (like my five-finger shoes I am so used to) to workout in. But they are scratchy inside, and they made my feet hurt. I even tried Ininji Toe socks with them, and my feet felt hot and sweaty. I gave them 3 stars overall because for this toe shoe wearing girl they simply don't feel nearly as comfortable! Also, I want to mention that I wear a true size 9 (which is what I ordered) in almost every shoe out there, but these were at least a half size too big!

This is the worst fitting shoe Ive ever worn. I bought a size 7.5UK because these run very big. After my first attempt at a work out, I got a huge blister on my left foot's heel. Thinking that the shoe might be a little big, I returned it for a half size smaller. That shoe I couldn't fit because it was too small. I reordered a size 7.5UK again, only to get blisters once again. This time it was on both heels and after only one mile. The problem is the plastic piece that is on the heel of the shoe (on the outside). That piece is right at heel level and any slightest movement up and down instantly turns that little plastic "support" piece into the most annoying blister causing trap. Ive done both Crossfit and regular gym training for years. Unless your heels are a giant callous stay away from these. The styling of the shoe is great though, and I wont deny that... but what good is looks if you cant keep them on your feet for longer than 10 minutes.

Great shoe for Crossfit, but DO NOT do rope climbs you will burn the mid sole of your shoe! The company admitted this error and they will fix this in the next edition!

I bought these minimalist shoes to avoid running injuries that I've sustained in the past. I normally wear a size 9 but the 9's that I originally ordered were way too big. The 8.5 that I ordered were better but the toe was still too long and the 8 that I tried were too small. I tripped and fell several times while wearing them running and to the gym. I you're a woman, I would not buy these shoes. They are not well styled for smaller feet.

I bought these shoes at the end of January and have worn them to CrossFit in 3 to 5 times per week. They are comfortable and fit my narrow feet well. However, after only 3 months of wear they are starting to come unglued around the toe area...disappointing for shoes that are supposed to be able to handle a CF workout.

I think the shoe fit good and the style was ok however, after two months of active use from a 15 year old these shoes fell aparte. There are holes all in the top of the shoes and it really makes me mad. These shoes are very expensive and should at least last 6 months to a year.
