What another great pair of Nike5, these are really stylish and can go with just about everything. I usually take a 10 but after carefully reading the reviews and knowing that some Nikes have been running a bit smaller I ordered the 10.5 and am very happy and pleased with the fit and comfort of these Nike5 Gato. And thanks to Zappos for getting them to me so quickly, you guys rock and roll!

After buying and returning three pairs of indoor soccer shoes, my 8 year old has settled on the Gato. Fit and functionality is important for him, and he loves a flashy color as well (the white and yellow combo is fun for kids). The difference between the Gato and other indoor shoes that are cut like cleats with flat soles is that the Gato comes up a little higher on the heel and adds additional support there so there isn't an issue with heel slippage. My son has narrow feet and the width was not an issue with good lacing. Other reviewers have noted that the shoe runs small, but I found it true to size, and perhaps even a bit big. My son has size (12) Nike running shoes, which may feel more comfortable with extra room in the toe box. The Gatos are roomier than other indoor soccer shoes, but seem to have more support than a Samba (love the classic Samba but our last pair was heavy, clunky, "floppy" fitting and the leather -- even black-- gets broken down and dirty looking).

Zappos.com didn't have my size in this shoe and color, so I ordered them off of Nike.com. The shoes I received were a size too small so I sent them back and ordered the next size up from Zappos.

Now that I've had these shoes a couple couple weeks they are very comfortable, but I still prefer my Puma Power-C's. I mostly wear the Nike's just for kick around, and do get a lot of positive comments on their color and style. They are BRIGHT. I ordered a full size larger than I normally take, per the suggestions, and I feel the shoes are just a smidge too large, but not enough to send back. Certainly too large to play any kind of a soccer game in, as I slide around inside a bit. But they are not in the least bit uncomfortable and I do have a wide foot. Maybe the handful of times I've worn them isn't enough to judge, but I'm going to keep these in the closet till my Pumas wear out. I much prefer the fit and style of the Pumas.

Comfortable fit with lots of cushion. More comfortable each time I wear them. Sometime my toes fall asleep, but I am still trying to adjust how I tie them to be sure they are fitting so it could just be me.

I bought these to replace my 3 year old Samba Millenniums, which were great shoes. They are a bit squeaky and take a few weeks to break in though so I tried something different. These Nikes have a wider toe box and conformed to my foot within a few days. I should mention that I've never played soccer, but prefer a low profile shoe with no heel and minimal arch support for everyday wear. These Gatos are perfect in those regards. They're not as comfortable as broken in Sambas (yet) but are much better out of the box. I would buy these again.

These fit very narrow. Size is a shade above half-size small. I tried 13 when I typically wear 12 - 12.5 would have been too small. Style is nice and construction seems to indicate they would have been durable enough.

I have worn Nike indoor soccer shoes, both Gato and Tiempo, for soccer and for my every day wear-around shoes for a few years because I love the style, but Nike has changed their sizing. I used to wear a 12, but now the 13 in each are too small - and my feet have not grown. My other shoes still fit fine. Nike, please go back to your old sizing!
