I have used this to the point it is worn out, thus I’m purchasing another. It fits well, stays in place with the chin strap, shades one’s ears, is lightweight, and gets clean in the washing machine. The ability to wash the sweat out of it makes it my favorite hat for work and boating.

Use in hikes as sun protection. It aslo works great with mosquito net. It is light and drys quickly.

i wore this hat for 5 years daily, year round to work for a redi mix concrete outfit until i retired 6 months ago. i still wear it for mowing the lawn, etc. it's gotten washed weekly all that time, and it doesn't really even look any different. drawcord still keeps it on in the wind. it's pretty good in the rain, too, but it leaks after an hour or so. not meant to be waterproof either! wow! i have a new one ready to go in case it ever wears out..... we'll see.

I use this as a sun hat.

Nice hat. Well made and true to size. Wasn't crazy about how it fit me with backpack - better I think for hiking without backpack or for other activities.

I first bought this hat in 2008. The new design is has a broader rim/visor and tightening button is not as easy to use as the original. But, you can be sure I will still wear it!

Wear it golfing, and walking. Nice overall, could be better if the brim was a little more rigid.

I use it nearly every day. I need the protection from the sun. In the wind I use the chin strap. In a light rain it keeps my head dry. It absorbs sweat. It is washable. The size is adjustable. This is my third one over many years.

Bought these for the whole family. Light, comfortable, and weather resistant. This is my go to field hat for search and Rescue missions.

Yard work! 50 SPF protects my old noggin, had some keratosis spots removed last summer by my dermatologist on both sides of my temples. Using Nuetrogena 70 SPF Sport Face on my forehead and an OR Helios XL sun hat for yard work and an OR Sombroilet XL 50 SPF for walks. Love the venting on the Sombroilet, wish the Helios was the same. Prefer the vented hat, cooler.
